you're out of the fat ones =[

We currently only have stock of the "slim" risers since they just came in a few days ago. I'll have more "wide" risers next week.

Is anyone interested in some test risers? These are brand new risers that haven't been released by anyone. Pricing is $9/shipped per one.

Please provide more details. Are these powered risers?

Yes, these slim risers are exactly the same as the wide risers. They're powered by a 4pin to either Molex or SATA cable. Power cable is located underneath the USB port on the 16x riser.

BTW, I recently received a huge stock of 30cm USB Risers and Dual PSU Power Cables ($9.99)

84  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [WTS] Risers, Dual PSU and MB Power Adapters Available on Amazon Prime and Here on: February 26, 2014, 08:48:06 PM
We recently became aware that there are other sellers listing other versions of our Dual PSU Adapter product on Amazon and causing us to receive a negative review and messages about 'our' product.  These Dual PSU Adapters are made especially for Vantacor and only for Vantacor.  We pay double the industry average for our version for better quality and reliability. These are UL listed, 18AWG custom made cables...pure copper and every single adapter is tested before it even gets shipped to us, we do NOT sell 20AWG versions or anything other than our product that we have been selling for over 7 Months.  Our only negative review on our product is a result now of someone using our good name to sell their 20 AWG crap cable when under amazon rules they aren't even allowed to list on our listing(since they are selling something different).

I know there are other sellers(on this forum as well) that sell similar Dual PSU cables and they could be and probably are of good quality.  We just wanted to forewarn anyone that because these are custom made for Vantacor, any other seller you purchase from WILL be different in some form. There are many companies who can make these cables and they range from the absolute crap quality with a dirt cheap price tag to our expensive ones that are custom designed.

You can report this to Amazon and they will remove the listings. Just add 18AWG to the item description
85  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SOLD OUT] Flexible USB-based powered PCI-E risers $18-$20/each on: February 25, 2014, 10:45:44 PM
I sell lots of them with many happy customers. Check my thread!

Thanks will look into that.

I recommend going for the "slim" USB powered risers but either the "wide" or "slim" risers would work. You can check out my thread for some risers or I can recommend you some auctions on eBay. I recommend going with a US seller just for RMA purposes.

Why would slimmer be better in your opinion? Which seller would you recommend?

I have 12 left, new.

For what price are you letting those go? Where can I see some pictures/website?

----

Also, how would you guys recommend I plug them to the PSUs? Here is my set up:
- 2 PSUs 860w connected with a add2psu adapter
- 3 280x for now but will expand to 5 sooner or later.
- GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard

Thanks.

I recommend myself, poweredrisers.com (starting at $17.99) but from what I've read and seen RickJamesBTC has a good product and pricing. I've had some people I know use him before, I can't vouch for any other seller though.

I recommend the slim risers due to the space constraint and I've personally seen better manufacturing processes with the slim risers than the wide. However, it really boils down to aesthetics, as risers either work or don't work.

We've lowered our prices to $17.99 to meet the market price. Prices will not go down any further unless there is a drastic cost decrease from the manufacture. Remember, when you order from us you'll get same day shipment (if ordered before 5PM, but normally we extend this to 10PM), excellent customer service and quality products.

Looking for 5 of those. I am seeing a lot on ebay but can't figure out which to choose. Any advice?

We have about about 20% of these left, get them while they last! We will probably get more in stock next week.

We will also be stocking normal dual PSU cables as well.

I've received a lot of questions on how the Dual PSU Adapter works, here is a quick summary,

You plug the 2nd PSU into the 24pin ATX and a SATA cable from the first power supply. Once you turn on the first power supply, the 2nd one will turn on automatically, it will also power off at the same time.

it's not obvious from the picture of the slim riser. Where does the power cable plug into? I only see the usb connector on the actual riser.

The power cable plugs right underneath the USB Connector. Let me know if you have any questions. While most of our competition sell pre-orders, all products listed on our site are INSTOCK and ready to ship! Most orders are shipped within 24 hours, however most of the time they're shipped the same day if placed before 9PM PST.

Wow... that is a lot of cables. Could you tell me the difference between the wide and slim risers you're selling?

The slim boards have two power filters and the wide have three. However, it's up to personal / visual preference. I use both type of risers in my setups. They've been running great!

Let me know if you have any questions.

If you're using it as a investment, then I would take a look at how Forex Trading is taxed, I would base your taxes on that.

what does qc 100% mean exactly? sorry new to this =[ lol how does that compare with the three(the fat ones) i bought from you? do i need to rebuy new ones? also for the current ones i own do i have to take off the soft foam on the bottom or do i leave them on?

We're changing all our risers to 100% QC test for all future batches. Most of the time risers either work on the first try or they don't work at all. In order to avoid any RMAs since they're costly in terms of customer time, shipping cost and replacement parts, we decided to QC 85-100% of all risers. We have a low percentage of RMAs, less than 2%. If your risers work, then there is no reason to RMA.

You should keep the foam on the bottom of the risers.

Our shipments have been delayed by customs and will not come until the middle of next week. Due to the high demand, I will setup a preorder page, and items will ship at the latest the 22nd. I will keep prices the same, but after this next batch of 1000 units prices will go up a tad bit.
99  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SOLD OUT] Flexible USB-based powered PCI-E risers $18-$20/each on: February 11, 2014, 01:55:45 AM
Normal risers work fine on those pice slots

I meant the PCI-E 1x riser, or swapping them around?
100  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SOLD OUT] Flexible USB-based powered PCI-E risers $18-$20/each on: February 11, 2014, 01:33:50 AM
any idea why my rig wont recognize these risers... cards work fine on other risers they are not getting powered up when i turn on the PC

Try wiping the PCI-E 1x with your finger to see if there is any residue on it.
