21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: best gambling site? on: February 23, 2017, 12:11:06 PM
4)should have 0% house edge.

Pretty surprised that no one mentioned Chain-bet.com!
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: February 15, 2017, 12:03:49 PM
Only this gambling site - http://www.bitcoinbetting.website/, others have ~ 1% house edge. But even with 1% house edge you can win instantly.  Wink
That's crazy! Among so many gambling games doing round, only one offers 0% house edge?
i dont buy that, do you know what is probability of guessing the rigth number? it is better play a dice game, probabilities are higher than this one

Probability depends on how many numbers you are betting on in a single block.

If u bet on 1 number, probability is 6.25%.

If u bet on 15 numbers, probability is 93.75%.
23  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: February 15, 2017, 12:00:30 PM
is this better than primedice? or they are just the same, i want to make a small deposit and i would like to know a good option before i do it
Primedice house edge is 1%.

Satoshidice house edge is 1,9%.

-> when you play at Satoshidice, you lose statistically twice as much as you lose on Primedice.

Chain-Bet.com house edge is 0%.

Almost all the Captcha's can be broken.
We are talking about Google Re-CAPTCHA here. If u claim, it can be broken by bot, please provide enough reference to support your claim.

Have you heard of that Captcha solver services? Basically people from third world countries solving 1000 captcha's an hour just to make $1.
Yes. But, that is NOT automation. Those are applicable for services where there is no mar task to perform after solving CAPTCHA, e.g. increasing page view. Here, in chain-bet.com, one need to place bet after solving the CAPTCHA, which is possible only through manual intervention.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: February 13, 2017, 11:18:33 AM
Well he is correct in that sense. However you can't really disable automated betting by bots. Even if you enable Captcha or some type of new API, there are programmers out there that will be able to simulate human bettin behaviour. Hence the reason why none of these sites want to go thru the hassle with this issue.

Chain-Bet.com employs Google's Re-Captcha. No known AI has broken it yet.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hashpower is voting for neither BU nor SegWit! on: January 20, 2017, 08:05:22 PM
Almost one month has passed since this thread was created. Still, SegWit+BU is less than 50% of the total hash power.

After one month, here is the current stat...

when i winning lucky number 10000  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Given that they have 5% house edge, this seems to be pretty much impossible.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hashpower is voting for neither BU nor SegWit! on: December 28, 2016, 04:18:48 PM
That's just inertia. Pools are going to be slow to get on board with whatever they choose, being conservative...

So, u r supporting SegWit now?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5kdrlx/solockpoolorg_has_started_signalling_segwit/

Is there anyway a person mining at your pool can support BU?
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone tried Chain-Bet.com? on: December 26, 2016, 03:59:18 PM
if the site is legit and trusted, maybe we can try to playing on that site, but with 0% house edge, i wonder how percent our luck is work?
Many have already tried and won as u can see in this post - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1635955.0

i think the most player will get the chance to loss their money. how the owner pays the fee with 0% house edge?
Do u think 1% house edge sites make exactly 1% of the total wagered amount? No. That is why a 0% house edge sites exist. To give 1% more winning chance to the gamblers.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we convince Google to have a Bitcoin Doodle on Genesis day? on: December 24, 2016, 04:27:49 PM
So, does anyone here have the expertise to create a Bitcoin Doodle?
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone tried Chain-Bet.com? on: December 24, 2016, 04:25:49 PM
I never seen this site before and i am curious about 0% house edge because this is the only gambling site that i seen 0% house edge.
Upon back reading looks like the site still not yet prove by high reputative members here that this site is legit or not..
Did you guys tried this site?
This is the only site offering 0% house edge. U'll find a long discussion regarding this here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1633110.0
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: December 24, 2016, 04:16:46 PM
Blastabit.com will be a 0% house edge gambling site. But it is not released yet. It is a player versus player gambling game. That needs a pair of player in order to play this game. They are under development, we hope there released will be a blast. And i hope it will not turn out to be a scam site. 'Coz i don't know where they get there profit in it if they are promoting 0% house edge. If that will be ads, they need a major work to do.

House Edge exists only when there is a house. In player vs player game, if there is no commission, it can not be termed as 0% house edge. It is merely 0% commission.

House Edge is probability. Commission is certainty.

In House Edge, house is risking its money. In commission, house risks nothing.

Genesis Day is on 3rd January. Genesis Tx - https://btc.com/4a5e1e4baab89f3a32518a88c31bc87f618f76673e2cc77ab2127b7afdeda33b

U may see Google's previous Doodles at - https://www.google.com/doodles
I think we can try to suggest it to them by emailing them (proposals@google.com) but there's no gurantee that it could get accepted right away because they receive tons of requests daily.

Tweeting at https://twitter.com/Google or https://twitter.com/ryangermick may have stronger effect.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC38 hot wallet got hacked and lost 1.5 million on: December 23, 2016, 10:08:00 AM
I actually hope that customers won't lose trust in them, because btc38 has now learned their lesson and will pay way more attention to security in the future, compared to other exchanges who haven't been hacked.

Trust is like a mirror. Once broken, it is pretty difficult to restore at the previous condition.

That's just inertia. Pools are going to be slow to get on board with whatever they choose, being conservative...

As and when a dominant pool takes a side, it might lose hash power as well.

yep

http://bitcoin.sipa.be/ver9-2k.png
though it topped 35%(reactive) we have also seen segwit desire drop to under 20%(reactive)..

thus the actual(not instantly reactive) rule metric of 2016 blocks is hovering just under 25%

Is there a similar graph for BU as well?
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: December 20, 2016, 07:14:36 PM

0% house edge. I will have to take a look at that, they must make from deposits and withdrawals I take it.?

Nopes. They make money because greedy gamblers still lose.

40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: December 18, 2016, 07:26:57 PM
I run bitcoin unlimited with port 8333 open
I am eager to move to bigger blocks ASAP
Lite clients are Convenient but you can't beat
Running a full node for ultimate security and
Protecting the integrity and decentralisation of
The worldwide bitcoin network
Bitcoin Unlimited is a failure. Bitcoin Core 0.13.1 + segwit + lightning network is the only way out. When will you understand this fact?

You can do anything you want, but know that you are wasting your time. BU doesn't work, it's in fact a mess, no one with real invested money in Bitcoin should be gambling it with BU.

If u go by this chart, then both SegWit & BU are failure yet...
