@BitcoinSitesOrg You may like to include www.CoinLearn.org
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for Bitcoin Q/A - Please contribute on: April 24, 2014, 03:27:12 PM
@CoinLearn You may add the following Q

Q. What advantages a buyer get in using bitcoin ?

A. Following is a list of few advantages...

1. Buyer's card data is not coming to the seller. So no chance of theft from merchant's end.

2. Buyer's anonymity.

3. Recurring payment protection. Merchant cant enforce a recurring payment using a small checkbox tick.

Thank you for your input...
244  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which wallet supports this ? on: April 24, 2014, 03:25:38 PM
Electrum can easily do this from CSV data formatted as follows:

"ADDRESS1", 0.12345
"ADDRESS2", 0.22334
"ADDRESS3", 0.45678
...

Access this feature through the Tools\Create transaction menu items.

Thanks, but is not there any web wallet that support data fetching from excel sheet ?

I have to pay multiple people (200+) at one go from a wallet. I have the addresses and amounts in an excel file. But I dont see any option to upload that file to blockchain.info wallet so that I can pay at one go. I have to copy paste each address and amount individually. Can anyone please suggest any wallet that supports this feature ?

There's already a good FAQ available from the bitcoin website: https://bitcoin.org/en/faq

Yah, I checked it and https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Faq is also a good one. But I dont want to copy-paste. Those can be presented in a less technical and interesting way for newbies. And I'm looking for some interesting Q/A as well. Here is an example...

Q. I heard someone bought 2 Piza for 10,000 BTC. Is it true ?

A. Yes, it absolutely is. The order was placed on May 18, 2010 and was executed on May 22, 2010. Those were the early days of bitcoin. You may find the details here.

We are running CoinLearn.org a Learning + Earning site for Bitcoin. We are planning to expand the Q/A database and hence looking for your support. Hereby requesting everyone to post some Q/A that they think a Bitcoin beginner should know...

Below is an example...

Q. What are the units of Bitcoin ?

A. There are 4 standard units of Bitcoin...
    i. 1 BTC = 1 Bitcoin
    ii. 1 mBTC = 10^(-3) Bitcoin
    iii. 1 μBTC = 10^(-6) Bitcoin
    iv. 1 Satoshi = 10^(-8) Bitcoin
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some popular bitcoin portals? on: April 12, 2014, 09:45:37 PM
Hi, I'm looking for technology and news related websites and blogs that constantly give an emphasis on bitcoins. Not really the big merchants, traders or portals, but mostly a variety of small sites, preferably with a presence in social networks with hundreds or thousands of followers. Can you name some? Thanks!

Please have a look at www.CoinLearn.org

Having launched in early February 2014, it has received 0.4 million+ pageviews in March and constantly going upward in Alexa ranking.

According to Google Analytics data, www.CoinLearn.org has received 0.4 million+ pageviews in March 2014 and it seems we are going to surpass that figure in April. To prove our claim, we can provide screenshots for the same.

We are selling ad space on our site in monthly basis. The first round of auction is to sell the 468x60 ad space on home page, just below the 'Bitcoin Address' field, where you see the adbit.co banner for now.

Please post your offers below...

How about adding www.CoinLearn.org to it ?

A question to everyone: from which sites would you buy ad space for the project? Freetalklive.com would be a good pick if we want to find people with ideological support to the project. Where do we find people who are interested in the idea and are also technically able to utilize it?

In addition to Facebook and Google adwords, AdBrite.com is also an option. There you can choose the page you want to advertise on.

Well, I think, at today's date advertising bitcoin online is an irrelevant idea. It was required when Sirius posted it. I am just taking this opportunity to inform the emerging bitcoin businesses about a new site with a lot of bitcoin newbies.

We launched www.CoinLearn.org at the end of Jan, 2014 and in the month of March 2014 we have received 0.4 million+ pageviews. Interested advertisers may ask for detailed Google analytics data.

260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BlockChain.info Warning: Blockchain.com is a phishing site on: March 31, 2014, 02:33:06 PM
I still don't understand. Blockchain.com is owned by (and also directly links to) Blockchain.info. Then why would Blockchain.info tweet about it and mark it as a phishing attempt?

This is something I am confused too...

Moreover their own twitter handle shows the website blockchain.com !!!

We asked @aantonop & @blockchain for clarification and yet to get any response...
