Wasnt he very clear on this thread that he isnt going to complete the KYC? Why dont you return the crypto to the same address and clean your hands of also this mess?

Unfortunately, we need a clear confirmation from a representative in our support inbox.

Hello, Polina here. I would like to point out that we're still waiting for Privcoin to confirm that they refuse to complete the KYC procedure in our support. Unfortunately, we can't carry out a refund unless we get a written confirmation from them - such was the condition posed by our legal department.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChangeNow.io (Evercode Lab) - Scam. Illegally holding of 100 BCH (11 bitcoins). on: October 13, 2018, 01:51:27 PM
The OP has made a confirmation, so we have refunded him the initial 100 BCH minus the network fee to his initial address.
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Atomic Wallet and Guarda' owners == SCAM ChangeNOW' owners on: October 13, 2018, 08:27:55 AM
I sent them an email 2 hours after this message:

Dear ni23457 (I'm talking to you here, because you are the most concerned of our clients), please turn to our customer support and confirm your dismissal of the KYC procedure. Your 100 BCH will be refunded to you right away, excluding the network fee.

I even promised these pieces of shit that I would not initiate problems for them in Russia. And what do you think? They did not return anything.

Good day to you!

We have received your last letter, and our support sent you a reply to your original ticket.
Please confirm that you are refusing to pass the KYC procedure and you will be refunded within 24 hours.
We have carefully saved all the information about your situation and will submit it to the legal authorities should they request for it.

To all our other users: don't worry. If you aren't trying to cheat and/or scam, you have nothing to be afraid of!

We have already stated that all our hanging KYC cases will receive a refund as soon as they confirm they don't want to submit their documents and are ready to receive their funds to their wallets. That's our only condition.
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Changenow.io selective scamming on: October 12, 2018, 12:16:00 PM
We need a confirmation of KYC dismissal
Did you even read their threads?

Of course I did. However, we need that confirmation from them so that all is clear from the legal point of view. With regards to PrivCoin, no one from them has ever contacted our support team in the first place.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Changenow.io selective scamming on: October 12, 2018, 12:00:09 PM
Dear Privcoin, please contact our support team and confirm your dismissal of the KYC procedure. You will be issued a refund minus the network fee right away. You won't have to provide any ID, all you need to do is confirm that you do not wish to complete the verification procedure.
I believe OP was pretty clear already:
To ChangeNow should they read this thread: If you either refund us the coin we sent back where it came from OR provide a swap to the coin we wanted, we will remove this post but here's the best part: We are not going to tell you which transaction was ours so either refund every user you're holding and give everybody their coins back or provide them the promised swap.
What are you waiting for? Refund all those people!
What you're doing now looks like PR/damage control. I don't believe a word you say, I'll believe it when PrivCoin and ni23457 confirm it.

We need a confirmation of KYC dismissal in form of a written message in our support from all our hanging KYC cases, Privcoin and ni23457 included. Their funds will be returned to them right away.

@ Polina_ChangeNOW

Surely your weekend holiday is over. What is stopping you from replying?

When will you return the stolen funds back to the OP?

1) I want to write to your legal department regarding a legal issue, what is the name and address of your legal firm?

2) What is your Complaints Procedure and where is it stated on your changenow website?

3) Which legal jurisdiction do you fall under?

Thank you

We as a company have come on this forum in general and in this thread in particular in order to have a dialogue with our customers and receive constructive feedback. However, I'm sorry to say this, but this discussion is going nowhere, therefore this will be my final reply for the time being.

We didn't steal the funds, so the very question is posed incorrectly.  We have stated multiple times that the funds will be released when we get a resolution from our legal team. We have no intention of keeping them for ourselves, but we can't release them just like that because that might land us in legal issues.

Our legal team has an email where you may direct all additional inquiries with regards to this issue: legal@changenow.io; however, all interactions with the outside world (users of this forum, for instance) are still to be carried out through our marketing department, me in particular.

All the information on ChangeNOW's operation and general use is listed in our Terms of Use. As we've already stated, as our ToU and FAQ develop, we will fill them both with more information.

As we've already stated, we obey the laws and jurisdiction of Belize and international legal regulations that apply to the blockchain industry.

And, lastly: as I've already said, we have come to this topic to have a dialogue, perhaps to get some constructive feedback. What is happening here, unfortunately, is everything but, so we will proceed with the case and get back to you with the results and/or news.

Thank you for your opinions and advice, I'm off to do actual work.

@Polina_ChangeNOW - this is my fourth request

What is the name of your lawyer?
What is the name of your legal firm?
What is the address of your legal firm?

Kindly reply. Your reply is overdue.

Hello. I haven't replied to you because I don't work on weekends; me managing ChangeNOW's marketing and PR affairs is a regular job for me and I believe that I'm entitled to days off.
We have our own legal team and also employ some outsourced legal consultants. I'm not sure I'm allowed to disclose their names, though.
15  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChangeNow.io (Evercode Lab) - Scam. Illegally holding of 100 BCH (11 bitcoins). on: September 14, 2018, 03:37:04 PM

You're absolutely right - we don't have any right to share the files that the OP has sent. We respect the law, as we have stated multiple times.
As for the refund - we will refund the OP as soon as we have legal grounds for that. We really hope that this situation is resolved as soon as possible.

About the GDPR: it's a part of global improvement package that we are implementing. It's a work in progress, and we are introducing changes as they come.
In our public statement we have mentioned that in just a year we have grown from a tiny service into a relatively big project. We are collaborating with legal specialists and advisors in order to keep up with all requirements of the market and to be compliant with all the necessary things. Unfortunately, some implements take some time to get up and running, more than we'd like to. In any case, we are trying to do everything in our power to become the most transparent, convenient, and understandable service on the market and we are eternally grateful for all the constructive comments you've given us.

He said he only sent some obvious fake files as a joke/mock. If that's true, I would say it's pretty obvious that he wasn't seriously trying to get verified with fake ID's.

We can assure you that he didn't send those documents as a joke or mock. In his earlier posts the OP claimed that he was "embarassed", which is why he sent us fake documents not only once but twice.

For the record: he didn't send us pictures of Trump or Putin, there was just a scan of some random passport and a selfie with a different face and a different ID.
We would like to share the documents he sent us, but it would be very unprofessional of us.

@Polina_ChangeNOW

Many thanks for the post and your clarifications. I hope you will implement some of those changes as soon as possible and I wish you success in your business.

Regarding the OP who has his funds frozen, it is about time you returned the funds to him using the same address you received them from. What confirmation are you waiting for and from who?

Our legal team is dealing with this case right now and we're waiting for a resolution from them.

So you're saying the company forwarding your mail there knows where you really are hiding? Or do they forward it to the nexts PO box?

We've never hidden from anyone, we just don't have an office that we use for representative purposes. We offer an entire variety of ways to get in touch with us (our emails, our Telegram chat, our support, etc.) which is how most IT/blockchain businesses work.

I'm not sure what to make of this. On a related subject: why did you switch accounts? -2 looks almost just as bad as -4.

Well, thanks to our friend ni23457 here I can't use the official account for the time being. So I, as ~a marketing manager~ have to use my personal one. We want to communicate in a constructive manner with the community, and this appears to be the only way for now.

trusted escrow on this forum

Am I right to think that what you're offering here is to send our client's funds to a random person on the Internet and that would  be secure and trustworthy? Alas, this is not how money business works. These funds are not ours, they are our client's, first and foremost, and sending them to an unknown third party would be a disaster.
