1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DOPE] DopeCoin 2,000,000 DOPE Bounty - POD Verified - POS interest 10% a year on: December 20, 2014, 03:16:10 AM
Come on. Be Real. The bounty is tiny. 2,000,000 DOPE at 30 satoshi = 0.6 BTC = $200 USD. Anyone smart enough to build a decentralized exchange is going to realize that they can make $200 in a day or two doing some other easy work and buy 2,000,000 DOPE. If someone can't make $200 in a few days then they aren't smart enough to build a decentralized exchange.

There are 10000 other coins to join, you could start a new blockchain or you could start a new counterparty token. It's getting to the point where investors don't care if devs do a 100% premine and sell off 10% to start development. This bounty is never going to be claimed until decentralized markets are so common that every coin has one and they can be built in a day.

I have two ideas if you want something to get done fast:

#1 - New coinswap. Premine the total amount of coins + 50,000,000 more DOPE for this bounty. (Cost free)

#2 - Someone with 20 BTC puts in a big buy order at 100 satoshi and dumb people sell their coins into it quickly. (Cost 20 BTC)

I'm fine waiting for a year until decentralized markets are common and then building up a good user base but I would prefer option #1. #1 could be started tomorrow and will attract more than 1 person/group of people who want to try to build a decentralized exchange/fork of open bazaar.

Make the bounty 20% of the market cap?  Get the fuck out of here.

Price is going parabolic...  Tongue  Grin

Not much buy support on bter.  Set a low buy order and wait for the correction.

What do you mean by merging with other coin?

You'd have to abandon both coins and issue a new coin proportionately according to each users share of their own coins market cap.

I don't care for it.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe in Ripple, but why Stellar? on: December 19, 2014, 09:38:39 PM
Is this the thread where ripplers come to cry about their crippled ripple investments?  Cheesy

With the website almost ready to come online, do we have any leads yet for developers interested in taking on the decentralized exchange task?

In the process of looking around myself. Hopefully, the sheer size of the bounty can drive some people in.

Quote
Too many coins, not enough developers.

It might be a good idea to merge with other coins. Everyone will get diluted but the community and developer pool will be a lot bigger.

This could be true. The closest we'll come to merging would be some sort of alliance i.e., 420 alliance . But, that would be far down the line.

Then we could run off and print yet another shitcoin and demand a merge.  Hell, just look at ROScoin.  Placebo dumped out of DOPE just to start up a shitcoin clone.  Keep it dope-centric.

Looks like all of that ripple and stellar money is looking for a place to rest.  They've made a wise decision settling on Unity and Nxt  Cool

Hi, help me please unlock my  old wallet /

you forgot your wallet password?

I know my pass but I can not find any way at unlock in old wallet client

in the debug console type "walletpassphrase YOURPASSWORDHERE amount_of_time_to_unlock_for" eg "walletpassphrase password 1234"

Thanks   walletpassphrase MYPASSWORDHERE amount_of_time_to_unlock_for" eg "walletpassphrase password 1234

             Error:Error parsing JSON:amount_of_time_to_unlock_fo eg walletpassphrase

from that error, I would say you didn't put a number as per the example.

I tipe   " walletpassphrase ************** amount_of_time_to_unlock_for" eg "walletpassphrase password 1234"   this is wrong?

Yes that's wrong.  Do not type the following:

"amount_of_time_to_unlock_for" eg "walletpassphrase password 1234"

DO type the following, replacing the ************ with whatever your password is:

walletpassphrase ************* 1234
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt Monetary System launched: Now on Nxt Testnet! on: December 17, 2014, 05:51:00 PM
Why not just use NXT itself?  What utility will this feature provide?

Consider me in for 275k DOPE for your bounty

2MM DOPE.  I'm starting to get jealous here.

ETA: Any higher and I'm breaking open the programming books myself.  Cool

C'mon guys.  Why are you feeding this troll?   Aaron don't let this asshat get to you.  This is the post that should have generated a page of replies

--->

1.725MM DOPE is almost 1% of the entire supply of DOPE that will ever exist.  Let's just keep it in those terms for now... and the bounty will grow from here.  You want to speculate on price?  We pull this off the way Dopecoindude and I discussed in IRC the other day and DOPE easily rockets into the top 10 of crypto market capitalizations.  It's more than just becoming the go to currency for dark markets and it's more than just taking market share from them.  Now,  it takes market share from Ebay and Amazon and becomes a giant yard sale of decentralized ecommerce where people will be encouraged to hold the currency and buy their stash with the interest, all free of charge.

<-----

Let's keep it positive and ignore the FUDtard.    This is an attainable goal.  The framework is already there.

Good point.  It was a good gangbang though, and was nice to finally expose him and get that out of the way.

1.725MM DOPE is a nice chunk to have Cool

I'll add more to that, currently buying cheap coins lol

Nice little bump in volume there, was that you?

Yes, keep sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting la, la, la. You guys brag so much but this is literally the most useless coin I own. I swear it's run by a bunch of 14 year old kids because that is the only demographic I know of that lies so blatantly and badly.

A bounty is being put together to actually help finally move the project along, and you have nothing but bitter bullshit to put forth.  Dump your coin and leave if you feel it's done for good.  Otherwise, shit in someone elses thread.

So they need more handouts to even get started, months after launch? That's not a red flag?

The only red flag here is your incessant whining.  Care to put anything up towards the bounty, or just sit in here and bitch?

I'd rather burn my money in a trashcan than put more into Dopecoin, I would get better ROI.

and here is the proof that you don't own any DOPE at all.

Case closed.

So you invested about $10-20 and that deserves the pure FUD you spread,  really you need to get a life. I pay more than that on server bills to help get everybody on here a ROI!

Yes, the price has always been this low.

I based that on up to 150 sato, nice try.

That's 2 btc near the top of the original pump prices (~3800 sats).  If he stuck around that long to just start bitching NOW, when something is actually being put together, he has bigger problems than we can solve.

I swear it's run by a bunch of 14 year old kids because that is the only demographic I know of that lies so blatantly and badly. All you do is ask for more handouts and more "community involvement" which means you are either too lazy or too stupid to do any work on your own. You have been stringing us all along for months now, people like me are not going to go away. Or voice is going to get louder and louder until nobody will waste any money on this piece of crap.

You do realise we can see your history of posts? only 6 of 29 posts were not fud attacking dopecoin on this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=392185;sa=showPosts

Again, if you yourself were not so childish, why would you not use your real username rather than a shill account?

I signed up for this account just to prevent others from wasting their money like I did. I am performing a public duty, providing a real voice amongst the zombie cheerleaders that post here.

HA, and there you have it.  A shill.  You don't own DOPE at all.  Piss off.

Now that the shill has been exposed, we can move on.

Any luck on the donation site discussed earlier?
