With the website almost ready to come online, do we have any leads yet for developers interested in taking on the decentralized exchange task?

In the process of looking around myself. Hopefully, the sheer size of the bounty can drive some people in.

Too many coins, not enough developers.


It might be a good idea to merge with other coins. Everyone will get diluted but the community and developer pool will be a lot bigger.

I don't like this idea. Maybe we should better think about collaboration with other devs to join forces for both of the coins. I mean that new features added to one coin will be implemented to another, and vice versa. Something like this.

Talking to a dev. already for the de-centralized marketplace ( bounty site is almost done it seems ).

If someone can't make $200 in a few days then they aren't smart enough to build a decentralized exchange.

There are 10000 other coins to join, you could start a new blockchain or you could start a new counterparty token. It's getting to the point where investors don't care if devs do a 100% premine and sell off 10% to start development. This bounty is never going to be claimed until decentralized markets are so common that every coin has one and they can be built in a day.


I have two ideas if you want something to get done fast:

#1 - New coinswap. Premine the total amount of coins + 50,000,000 more DOPE for this bounty. (Cost free)

#2 - Someone with 20 BTC puts in a big buy order at 100 satoshi and dumb people sell their coins into it quickly. (Cost 20 BTC)



I'm fine waiting for a year until decentralized markets are common and then building up a good user base but I would prefer option #1. #1 could be started tomorrow and will attract more than 1 person/group of people who want to try to build a decentralized exchange/fork of open bazaar.

Your forgetting the rise it would have upon being created/worked on. There are plenty of people who can see the value of such a system. The $200 , turns into $20,000 you just never know.

The $200 could turn into $200,000 easily.   Pulling this off makes DOPE a top 10 market cap coin, imo.  We would be talking about DOPE in terms of dollars instead of satoshis soon.  The dev that takes on this project will see that and frontload the balls off their position with their own btc.

Are people getting confused over the general fund and decentraliZED fund addresses?  General has much more which seems to run contrary to all of the support for the decentraliZED fund.
