The payout was delayed, but was good. Keep it up WP!
For half of us, the payout has not happened yet.

Need more activity from you all on the reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/wafflepool/ so much easier and more pleasant having topics seperated into their own thread, such a pain searching through a 60 page forum thread. Maybe there will be less repetition there too (pipe dream). Yes! That's why it's there. Individual threads like this are a horrible way to communicate such diverse thoughts.

If you look at the global stats page, you'll see that a payout occurred at around 3 AM, but not all miners have apparently been paid! Why paying some and not others instead of making it proportional since we are all waiting since yesterday? Anyway, it's not fairplay!!!
Just a guess, but I bet the larger miners got paid, although this wasn't intentional. Looks like a bunch of coins got exchanged at the same time as cryptsy finally sent the bitcoin payment, payment went out, but because there was so much exchanged balance sitting on cryptsy, there wasn't enough to pay everyone. I highly doubt this was intentional - payout script probably ran and cleared people's balances until there was no BTC left. Anyway, it really shouldn't matter - everyone will get paid tomorrow, and then you can just smile about a much bigger then average 1-time payout. I'm pretty sure payouts are still being done manually. Also, if it was done according to the miner list, which lists miners only by the largest worker, not total hashrate, that could explain things, though I don't think it makes much sense.

According to that you were last paid at the same time everyone else was. If you look at the global stats page, you'll see that a payout occurred at around 3 AM, but not all miners have apparently been paid! Why paying some and not others instead of making it proportional since we are all waiting since yesterday? Anyway, it's not fairplay!!! Yes, it looks like you're correct. Some people got paid, like phzi, and some people didn't, like clocker and me. I wonder why this is? Seems very odd.

Yes I read the thread. Yes I checked reddit. Yes I read IRC.
Yes I understand cryptsy is problematic today. Yes I understand some new coins being pool mined require manual processing.
But why have all coins failed to move to confirmed for the past 11 hours?
Because of post 1170.

Poolpicker.eu
Is there an API? This would make it relatively easy to write a script to auto-change your miners to the highest profitability pool.
|
|
|
Who made http://poolpicker.eu/ ? If it's accurate the conclusion is: They're all about the same so just relax. EDIT: but MC sucked the last week... Now someone needs to make a pool that automatically switches to the best paying auto-pool. poolception... Actually, this isn't a bad idea at all. But we don't need a pool to do this, just a script that either uses poolpicker's API (is there one?) or scrapes the site and uses the info to point your miner at the right pool. Wouldn't need to check too often, say every two hours? Not a bad idea at all.

just verifying that what im seeing is what everyone else is seeing.
my exchanged balance is flatlined since 7am (EST), ~10hrs. no payout despite being >.01 balance unexchanged climbing.
is this correct?
The answers are already in the thread for both questions about delayed payouts and about unconverted. stop bullshit answers ...read thread bla bla go and see every page im postin at least 1 post in every page..cant u see them? enexchanged balance going flat line = yes still no payout it was suposed to happen for new coins not all of the coins right? or im missing something You're missing something. And it's *very* important for people to learn to read the thread before asking questions, as the result is what we have seen over the past few days, endless repeated questions that have already been answered. Payout is delayed, as Poolwaffle explained earlier in this thread, because Cryptsy's API is having authorization problems, so coins can't get converted. Unconverted is delayed because of this and because, as Poolwaffle explained in this thread, we're mining coins that can't be autotraded, so manual trades must be sporadically done. I learned that from reading it here.

Aren't we going to receive payments today?
why my converted graph going straght??? no coins converted? As a rule, in any forum, in any thread, read at least the last two pages before asking any question. Chances are over 90% your question has been answered already. This will help keep threads from being cluttered up with the same questions asked over and over again.

Aren't we going to receive payments today?
Wafflepool mentioned a few posts back that Cryptsy is having API and other issues today. I'm sure we'll see payouts soon. In the meantime, enjoy the day's quite impressive profits so far.

One interesting thing about wafflepool (that I think, ALL pools should DO) is that, they use password as a difficulty setting.
if you password is: "d=256" you will mine at a fixed 256 difficulty fantastic!
Right now, perhaps temporarily or perhaps not, Wafflepool has changed that, and diff is now hardcoded at 512 as the operator works on tweaking some things and improving profitability. More details can be found in the wafflepool thread.

Middlecoin hashrate right now: 13.8
Wafflepool hashrate right now: 12.4
When do we start taking bets on when we pass Middlecoin in hashrate? A week ago I wouldn't have believed it. But here we are.
Considering the growth rate (not to mention the head-shaking questions in this thread) Poolwaffle has done an outstanding job in my opinion.
As for passing Middlecoin, my bet is 13:00 UTC on Monday.

Hmm, I can't load the wafflepool.com webpage. API and mining work fine, but no webpage. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem? EDIT: Looks like it works without the 'www' in front. A bit weird, since www.wafflepool.com was working before.

allright....pointed 1 rig now to stratum+tcp://95.85.28.31:3333
this seems to work......very strange. it just started during the day. i think its the provider (o2 telefonica). because i cant even connect to URL via the neighbours wifi, which is also provided by the same ISP.
thank you very much guys
I strongly suspect this is related to the DNS issues from earlier today. It's likely just taking a while to trickle down to all the other DNS servers, one of which you are pointed to. I'd suggest 8.8.8.8 and 8.8..4.4 (google's dns server) rather than whatever your isp provides.

Ah, good. I was hoping someone would contribute something like this, much nicer than what I threw up there. Thanks!

Yup, still seems to be something weird with uswest. Miner works fine, connects fine, shows shares submitting, but they don't show up on the webpage or API, and, I'm guessing, aren't being credited to us.

Tell me I shouldn't be getting over 0.026 a day and I will call you a liar.
That's actually really funny. If you can be earning .026 BTC/1MHs/Day somewhere then why on earth aren't you over there doing it? If you find somewhere like this, please let me know, because I'd like to get it on it. No, .026 on a regular basis is not even close to reasonable on any multipool (or even any coin) when averaged out of the past few months. You may get good days, sure, but your average will be far, far lower than that. EDIT: My mistake, looks like you meant .026 per 1.85 MHS per day. Still high though.

that's the only very big problem. if it's the same bug at sunday in the evening, that's a very very big bug which need to solve very quickly. If an end point fail that's not very important with a failover but with this bug end point didn't detect as fail by cgminer but shares will lost and this is very bad Exactly. None of my rigs failed over to another server because from their point of view everything was just fine. Not a good problem at all.
