1  Other / Beginners & Help / Can someone help me understand what everyone is talking about? 51%? on: June 19, 2014, 07:40:54 PM
I have noticed a lot lately that many people have been talking about the 51%. What exactly is everyone talking about? I have yet to find a proper explanation.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin gambling on freebitco.in and why is it working for me? on: June 19, 2014, 07:25:00 PM
That's what I have been thinking. I was just curious if anyone else has had similar luck and to get others opinions
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I converted all my bitcoins to litecoins on: June 19, 2014, 04:03:58 PM
Like others have said, I don't know if this is a good idea because all of these other currencies are so heavily tied to BTC. If BTC falls then the rest will be right with it. However there could be a bright side by converting your BTC to a smaller currency because you could gain a higher number of less valuable coins. So if the price goes up of that coin, then you could make more money when going back to BTC.

5  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin gambling on freebitco.in and why is it working for me? on: June 19, 2014, 10:04:49 AM
I have been using the Martingale system on freebitco.in. This is the system that states that you double down after every loss in order to regain your losses and still profit. I know that the Martingale system is one doomed to fail in the long run especially with the house winning 52.5% of the time on that particular website. But by betting small amounts at a time I have managed to multiple my winnings by an incredible amount. I have gone from .000007600 Btc to .001 Btc in a matter of hours. My question is can this system be used and be successful if you bet small amounts in order to maximize your chances of winning the small prize?

Gta 5 all the way. As someone who likes to spend less time playing online, Gta 5 has way more to offer single player wise. Smiley

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post your highest freebitco.in roll! on: May 20, 2014, 05:23:10 AM
Just a few days ago I hit 9999 when I was gambling so of course it didn't really mean anything.

On an actual roll, I have hit something like 9995. (it was on the fourth teer of winnings)

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin adoption issues: scams, hacks, and trust issues on: February 09, 2014, 05:35:08 PM
I would keep any coins offline from what I have been reading, and this currency is not doomed to fail because of it. Even though this currency does get stolen, the USD is stolen way more often and used for illegal things way more than BTC.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stolen Bitcoin questions on: February 09, 2014, 09:18:05 AM
How are most bitcoins stolen and how can I avoid that fate?
There are a couple of ways: Flash and Java, if you disable Java on your system and set chrome to click to play for flash, as well as installing Adblock+, you should be relatively safe, however if you download cracked applications on a daily basis, the likelihood increases of you getting your bitcoins stolen.

right now I just have everything in Blockchain with adblock and chrome. I am just always paranoid because every day when I come on here I see many stories of peoples BTC getting stolen.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion? on: February 06, 2014, 01:38:06 AM
Never heard of that before. I selected the 0 BTC and tried. I never won over 3 times. I it's not a scam then you have low chances of winning. Not worth it in my opinion

the thing is that you can change the difficulty setting to make it easier/ harder
