Si guadagnano punti merit quando qualcuno te ne manda grazie ad uno dei tuoi post. In aggiunta, quando qualcuno ti invia dei punti merit, metà di quelli potranno essere inviati ad altre persone.
Certi utenti saranno designati come "fonti di merit". Saranno in grado di creare merit dal nulla, fino a un limite massimo mensile (variabile da utente a utente). Non verrà postata un lista delle "fonti di merit" (così che non vengano tartassati troppo dalle persone), anche se prestando attenzione sarà facile capire di chi si tratta.
Al momento non esiste il "demerit" (demerito). Si spera che i punti di merito positivo siano sufficienti. Se necessario sarà comunque facile aggiungere i "demerit" in futuro.
Spero che questo con questo sistema la qualità dei post migliorerà in modo da:
- Forzare la gente a postare contenuti di qualità per poter salire di rank. Se si posta solo spazzatura non si riceverà mai neanche un punto merit e quindi non si sarà nemmeno in grado di mettere link in firma, ecc.
- Evidenziare i post di qualità con la linea "Merited by"
Anche se i moderatori non controlleranno direttamente questo sistema, si invitano le persone a dare merit ai post che sono oggettivamente di alta qualità, non solo ai post in accordo con i tuoi.
Il sistema di ranking del forum è ora più complesso.. Sarebbe utile che qualcuno facesse dei grafici per semplificare la spiegazione di activity e merit.
Se si vuole essere una fonte di merit (merit source):
Seleziona DIECI post di alta qualità che non hanno ricevuto neanche lontanamente i punti merit che avrebbero dovuto avere, e quotali tutti in un nuovo topic nella sezione Meta.
Per i membri attuali il punteggio merit iniziale è pari al minimo richiesto dal proprio rank. Di quel punteggio, una certà quantità (meno della metà) è spendibile. La quantità spendibile è stata calcolata basandoci sul tuo rank attuale e il numero di punti activity che si è guadagnati nell'arco dell'ultimo anno. Un membro legendary che non ha postato nulla nell'ultimo anno sarà ancora Legendary, ma non avrà alcun punto merit spendibile.
Se qualcuno ti invia 1 punto merit, i 0.5sMerit (nota: sMerit= merit spendibili e sono separati dei merit personali, quindi inviare merit non significa rinunciare ai propri) non andranno sprecati; semplicemente diventeranno visibili nel momento in cui si riceverà un altro punto merit."

You get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts. Additionally, when someone sends you merit points, half of those points can be sent by you to other people.
Certain users are designated as "merit sources". They can create new merit out of nothing, up to a limited number per month (which differs per source). I will not be posting a definitive list of merit sources (so that people don't bug them too much), though you'll soon figure out who they are if you pay attention.
There is currently no such thing as a "demerit". I'm hoping that the positive merits alone will be fine. I could add demerits pretty easily later on if necessary, though.
I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
- Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
- Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.
While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.
The forum ranking system is a bit complicated now... It'd be nice if someone made an infographic explaining activity and merit.
If you want to be a merit source:
Collect TEN posts that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread.
Trivia:
For current members, your initial merit score is equal to the minimum required to your rank. Of that, a certain amount (less than the usual half) is spendable. The spendable amount was calculated based on your current rank and the number of activity points you earned in the last year. A Legendary member who hasn't posted in the last year would still be Legendary, but would not have any spendable merit.
If someone sends you 1 merit, the 0.5 sMerit is not wasted; it is just not shown until you get another merit point. Quindi da ora si deve usare il nuovo tastino +Merit in alto a destra nei post graditi direi.. |

decisamente sconsigliato su notebook, la dissipazione non è neanche lontanamente adeguata a sopportare i carichi di lavoro dati dal mining.. puoi eventualemente usarlo giusto per fare un po' di prove e imparare le basi per sfruttarle su un computer adeguato in futuro

Personalmente ti consiglierei di rimanere sul più recente socket 1151, l'ultimo rig che ho montato proprio in questi giorni l'ho fatto con una asus prime H270 (6slot pcie + eventualmente altri 2 con adattatori m.2), come cpu g3900 o eventualmente g4400, ram minimo 4GB (certi miner mi hanno dato problemi in passato con soli 4GB e da allora ho sempre optato per 8 ), se vuoi proprio optare per 6 1060 come psu direi 1000W (sempre meglio tenersi un 20% di margine)

Hello everyone. As many of you know Revolver team members were quite busy last couple of months working on the research paper. So what is this all about? Revolvercoin was created as a platform to reward creative community and their supporters. Implementing this as a decentralized system is quite a tough task to say at least. Some time ago we came up with a network-based reward distribution approach. In the most recent work we formalize the proposed approach and research how it is supposed to work under various network structures using custom simulation model. This is a crucial step before starting to code the platform itself, especially when talking about such security sensitive and inertial systems as blockchains. So far we are satisfied with the results we got, but still have a lot of work ahead of us. In the coming months we will continue our research and development to create a robust system which people will enjoy to use.
