1  Other / Off-topic / What’s most important for a Bitcoin business? on: June 15, 2015, 04:02:27 PM

I’ve read an article which states the most important are marketing-oriented things such as the name, logo, and so on and so forth.

The author also thinks that crucial points are social networks marketing and participating at events and conferences.
I understand these things are important but I would put some other thing first, like making the first sale, keeping
in touch with your clients, finding out what they think about your service.

So the question is: what do you think are the 5 most important things for a Bitcoin business?

Ethereum is a great example and a great startup.

What these guys do is amazing, I'm a bug fan.

One social network plus one email is enough to participate, right?

Enough to participate but hardly enough to win, if the likes and reposts are to be added up.

Here's an update on the contest.

Looks like ZiftrCOINs presale fetched them some decent money - anyone else following the news?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZiftrCOINs - what do you think? on: January 18, 2015, 09:10:27 AM
It's about this contest.

What I find interesting is that they presale this new coin at 1 BTC.

Do you think this price is justified?

Buying credits for coupons that allow up to 3-4.9% discounts with amazon when I can get 3-20% discounts with Bitcoin already.

No, I think I will pass.

So is that all for a new coin - a credit coupon? I mean, any advantages at all?

Well if the new coin does not turn out to sell for 1 BTC each after presale, the first prize looks ok for a short article.

I think I'm game.

8  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Win 2 BTC and $500 - Predict the Price of Bitcoin at Christmas! on: December 26, 2014, 03:01:49 PM
A small tip: when making your prediction, don't forget to include a link on your Facebook or Twitter share. This way we can pay you faster. If we aren't able to check this information, we'll pay to another participant who is closer than you.

Hey, please let us know who won! It's time we knew who gets the prizes!

For the biggest story i think it's between

Mtgox and Paypal.

Ok, but what about Microsoft?

Maybe Microsoft since it's such a big corp.

Dell is just a big I think.

What about the person of the year? I only know 3 of the 5 people.
Just read about Vitalik Buterin - he sounds really cool.

Hey Guys! Thanks for your interest.
The rules have been modified to accommodate the high number of submissions.

Now:
  • From Dec 5, all prediction comments must be submitted ONLY in the comments section below the video.
  • To take a part in this contest, share the contest page on Twitter or Facebook.
  • The date you share the page must be the same as the date of your prediction.
GOOD LUCK!! for everyone!

Thanks for the contest. How many predictions an I make?

Well I've read the rules and I see no restriction as far as the number of predictions per person is concerned. Which means I can make more than one, is that correct?

Cointelegraph, thanks for another cool contest, I think I'll follow you on twitter so I don't miss another one - you ARE going to have more contests, right?
