1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will you call it-------------Revolution or Evolution--------------In Mining on: August 02, 2018, 12:28:08 PM
Unlike in traditional Bitcoin mining, where electricity costs, funds availability, and mining hardware are all factors in determining if Bitcoin mining is worth it, altcoin mining simply requires funds and research. After discussing a few strategies for this endeavor the final question remains, is altcoin mining worth it? The answer depends on your risk/reward threshold. Are you a low-risk investor willing to do the research into multiple cryptocurrenies, keep track of the mining difficulty and price of each one, and today trade them on a constant basis? Cloud mining altcoins may be the strategy for you, as losses are minimal because even if you don’t make the right decisions on what coins to mine you are only going to lose a few %. Even if some coins’ price might go down you will still have other cryptocurrencies to balance the losses.

I sympathize with the idea because when we reply we should not go far beyond the problem of the article but instead focus on the question we asked in the post, avoid stray threads and drift posts so that people can focus on the ching content of the question
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: August 02, 2018, 12:14:14 PM
I do not think so. If Bitcoin is lost we can still or move because Cryptocurrency is a big industry specializing in Cryptos and Bitcoin is one of them we probably do not need Bitcoin to maintain it. I think if Bitcoin loses, Cryptocurrency will be less prominent in the market
