Transfers are generally slow in Coinbase. I'm not sure if it has something to do with all of their security features, but that's normal. On the transactions page don't click to learn more button, click the view advanced details button and you can see where your transaction is at. In my experience the first confirmation usually doesn't take place until an hour after I enter the withdrawal. It has taken as long as three hours for me too, it's just sort of the way Coinbase works. Another possibility is that the coins aer being held in a cold wallet and it takes some time to make them hot so that you can withdraw them

Because it's on Bitcoinwisdom. We should campaign to have it taken off.

I think it will just take some time. People want to see bitcoin crash and burn, and the longer it doesn't happen, the more people will warm to it.
