This is an interesting coin, I must say though. You think 0.15 is going to happen by next week? Damn, that's crazy fast. Just look at the current price and where the money is currently shifting/moving into. Not rocket science, my friend. Mintpal will most likely have a 1k btc/day volume on this stuff in the coming days. It hasn't even begun. Well thanks for informing me, friend! Good luck to you. You are right on the money, however for the sake of argument let me retort by saying that DRK isn't necessarily a "BTC killer" to the individuals who value their privacy and use BTC for nefarious purposes. They already tumble their BTC and are hidden behind several VPN, how much more anonymity do they need? One could compare DRK to incognito mode in Chrome -- a step in the right direction, albeit a false sense of security. Am I wrong in this analysis?
Furthermore, I believe it is far out to compare any altcoin to BTC, which had first mover's advantage. As Mark Twain said, "History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme."
Not a false sense of security if you listen to what the developer says and his goals for the coin. The coin is to provide users with basic privacy. Something we seldom get anymore this day and age. It's not for doing illegal things and guaranteeing you a safety veil. But anyone interested in seeing your personal spending and savings habits would have to be extremely persistent and put in an awful lot of time on it to figure you out. They'd have to go way beyond nosy. And nosy people are what this coin protects us from Good point, we all need a bit more privacy online nowadays |

are you sure ? Proof ? I'm like 83% sure haha last time this coin was at 3 satashi they pumped this coin to 4X the amount. So why not to it again? Also I"ve been spreading the word about this coin and I'm sure many others have. If we as a community deem this coin value then it will increase, but if we ignore the community and post negative comments it will drag people away to find other projects. If we all help spread the word about the block rewards hitting 1 Topcoin per and tell as many people that it will skyrocket when this happens a few big investors will hop on the train to get us started. Call me crazy but I believe this will happen. You're crazy. Tell me, what does Topcoin have to appeal to investors? A rapidly decreasing halving rate...that's fucking it. Tell me, if you were an investor, would you invest in this coin that offers no innovative features whatsoever barring halving, or would you put your money in something like MINT, a PoS coin bringing you 20% annual profit, or perhaps DRK, with anonymous tumbling and 9+ secure algorithms? |

Can more people please come join us at LotteryPool? We have a weekly lottery from half the pool fees, which are only 1% so effectively 0.5% pool fees with the fun of a lottery to look forward to.
The owner has upgraded to a faster/more reliable server and I haven't seen any down time yet! It's working smooth as silk ATM, so come join us!!! The more people we have, the larger the lotto pool/winning and the funner it is to mine!!!! The pool is great, however people are most likely hesitant of any sort of lottery. They see it akin to snake oil - one is more likely to die in a plane crash than hit the jackpot. Not to say that the pool in question isn't fair, but perhaps if it were explained in a more pragmatic manner I would consider joining. Thanks. |

I wonder if it's going to be a solid coin.
It's nice that all the tech is a-okay and that this coin will be POS in 2 weeks, but in the mean time you have the miners dumping the sh*t out of this coin. I wonder what is left after the POW has ended. Let's hope it will regain some value, but who knows?
20% interest sounds nice, unless you bought in at 39 (like I have) and the coin stays in the lower twenties...
I have only POS crypto's, with mainly NXT and some MINT (and stakes at NEM and eXo). All for different reasons.
We are working towards a long-term development that is branded and works well for people new to cryptos who don't want to setup miners in order to get the benefits of mining. Instead of mining, everyone holding will be minting, and they will help secure the network. Cheers. Added to ignore list. Reason: blind sheep. I suggest you do the same! |
