Had it open for 2 and a half day now, not a single coint minted. About 1.2m RDD in this wallet.
because the current market supply is already at 26+ billion redds, we are nearing to mine all redds. So with only 1m+ your chances are low to mint new coins. Means? I read on Reddit that big traders (sometimes called whales) buy a lot of altcoins and then there will be an automatic momentum where the smaller traders will cause an upswing of the price, and when the price has reached a certain level the whales sell all their altcoins and buy bitcoins, and the altcoin price drops. That is true but normal, its not applicable in all alt coins. Quality coin with good development team like ReddCoin survives. Big fishes also spread bad news through medias, forum, artificial chart formations to Markdown as in my above post. Maybe social tipping is a good idea after all. I'm not sure yet. For example a video website could compete with YouTube with a tipping system instead of intrusive ads. I like ads, when they are non-intrusive. YouTube has started with too much intrusive ads that force people to watch the ads for say 20 seconds, and even with ads that interrupt in the middle of a video! A video site with tipping could give content creators a better way of earning money, and then Reddcoin could be an excellent choice. Why I love ReddCoin is their business model, it has a good future and their professionalism. I cant see any future if drop under 10 sat. POW has ended at block 100.000. That was 3.5hours ago. Block 100.001 is POS only. Shut down your miners. There are still lots of miners mining "air" on minep.it Yes it that is cool iam now on 42 place. I buy almost 75.000 and was mining with 2.5 mhz slow. So hope the price is gone up. Again i deleted all data exclude wallet.dat. Need again synchron. Same thing here... just purchased 1.4 m lets hope she goes to $1  loaded more with n where n is some large unknown number  clock is ticking I never actually buy coins (I mine them) but made an exception here as I got in a bit late in the game (difficulty was is circa 144) that is substantial and I would never catch up, my fault, so I put up FIAT, FIAT is like ether anyways , every day it loses value due to inflation, and I hear reddcoin has nice mechanism to curb inflation (long term) surprised with action on some unloading such great amount of coins at such a low price, how much money they can possibly make Today (even with multi million coin sell out) could be they want to push price lower to perform large buy backs at the lower levels think this is what this is... To transfer RDD to cryptsy it takes about 2000 confirms (2 days). After posv how many confirms need it? it only takes 500 confirmations Thanks: Thats mean if the price go up than posible that people transfer from the wallet to cryptsy. Also,how to keep and increase the value of this coin? if this coin is backed by gold,then,can we think that the value of total coin= the gold you bought? So,how to get more and more gold? could you only sell the stake of coins in gold fund,in this way we will get more and more gold,the value of this coin will increase step by step. Greenlife we just discussed that a few pages before. Coin price is driven by the market, so even if we have a minimum buyback price coin price can be much higher, just because of the trust and the further value increase when I buy gold every now and then. Selling the stake is a good idea but the max stake can be only 250k coins a year! Which is not enough for buy a decent amount of Gold and as I did not get the stake right now in one amount, then it is not we can work with. I will sell part of the premine to gain people's trust, then do some marketing, awareness campaign so the price may go up to a level where I can sell the premine for a reasonable amount of BTC. That will help me to buy more gold. Later, as the coin will have a bigger reputation I can buy gold with the donations the community give. Trust,Many thanks for your detail reply.
