Why should ETC tokens have value at all? The tokens depend on non-consensus of ETH and them moving over. Otherwise the snapshotted state has no meaning. The occurring fungibility problems are a huge red flag. Listing ETC is bad for the exchanges who have to deal with this. This really shows the issues with hard-forks.
ETC is ethereum pre-hardFork, so why not keep it and change ticker/name to the other ethereum hardfork to something like ETHF or ETF ? ETH miners have been upgrading software given them from ETH team from the beginning - why should this upgrade by different? The issue is you can't get rid of the dev team like this. If you have a new team, you have a new coin (team roughly corresponds to commit rights). Little doubt in my mind ETC holders will loose out from this valuation. Most holding ETC, previous ETH holders, don't use /accept them. ETC has no development team. As an exchange listing ETC means taking on huge risks, as we have seen. It seems hard-forks are not well understood, in particular in relation to source code publishing. I guess we will see what happens? As a merchant and exchange I think there are a lot of risks associated with ETC (and ETH I guess). on long run ETH lost the credit liability, goodwill because the hate. The ETH investors don't like this. This is total damage for the ethereum foundation. I believe that ETC has already won. We waiting only for the right price. for ETH is better to setup a holding company ETC / ETH |

is it true that ETC coin supply is more less coins than ETH.
after the fork (block 1920000) the wallet holders with coins have only ETH and not ETC.
the account holders on exchange have both ETH and ETC. So i was thinking there is more ETH coins than ETC.

Well, now I'm kinda annoyed that I sold my FCT, but I'm not gonna buy them back.  I sold because the Factom team never talks to me or lets me know what they're really doing, even though I'm one of the Community Leaders. I don't know if M2 is next week or next year, or really anything about who they're talking to in China, and that's not only scary but annoying. Even if I miss out on bigger rallies and my wins are relatively smaller, I'll be correct more often if I am knowledgeable and informed, which plenty of other development teams are willing to do--at least for me. It's almost an issue of respect. I'm definitely happy with all the gains I made up until now, though! If you want someone to talk to you visit family, friends or hire a counsellor. I don't understand people complaining about Factom not being their friend, lover and holding their hand. It is a crypto/blockchain company not a friend for hire or an escort service. Um, that's a retarded analogy. I don't want to talk to Factom because I'm LONELY. I go drinking for that. I want to talk so I can be informed. Otherwise, how can I make wise investment decisions? The other coins I'm invested in have given me detailed knowledge of who they're talking to, partnering with, and how far along they are in the development process. This will bother you less if you already have lots of money. In a very wealthy person's case, you can afford to bury a paper wallet and go long for a decade. I, however, have financial obligations and a small enough sum of capital that I'm required to constantly move money around to stay in the green, a strategy that was severely limited by holding something like FCT that I'll never be able to understand the timing and schedule of. +++++ |

Insurance is a consulting product which several intermediaries are involved. The intermediaries will never use the wallet because it is not user friendly and to much extra work. The have 2 clients (insurance brokers.) this is not an insurance company.
I was thinking that the goal of XRP is that you actually use the XRP to pay your mortgage. By using the token as payment they can save the bank charges.
Banks and insurance is two different things.
I think for long term investment is better to buy entry code than fct.

Syscoin is on Microsoft Azure??  Why is the market cap still so low? When can we expect new updates?  I am very impressed by this team, definitely one of the best teams in crypto as far as I am concerned. That is good !!! But this is negatief for me: On another note we want to make sure that Syscoin is mineable easily and immediately upon 2.0 launch. Last time i lost with crypty High price buy XRP and sold for low Because it was not posible to transfer the coins (only BTC was working). I was waiting for more than six months before I sold.
There is an exclusive opportunity That any exchange closed.
If it is not posible to transfer the factoids to your wallet there's an extra risc for long term.
Still the total concept i like.
Eth wallet is looking good include contracts options etc.
What happen after milestone 2 released where can we store the factoids for long term safely?
