61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe I made the right choice on: November 25, 2020, 09:20:15 AM
Yes, mining is only suitable for a business in a dedicated facility to be profitable since you will get a special rate for electricity and the hardware (if you purchase in a large quantity). I used to try mining, but the ROI was not good, and the hassle of maintaining the rig was too much.

Selling hardware that still has some salvage value certainly a good thing, but it is also a difficult decision. Who knows if the hardware price will skyrocket just like the last alt season?
Mining ROI is only good if you have free electricity but still not close to the benefit one can get from altcoin season, OP made the right choice to invest in top altcoins instead of buying new miners right now, he will be able to afford new miners later and still have good profits in hold, he is a wise man and I hope others learn from him, to get back a ROI mining with GPU will take you a whole year and half while altcoin season will only be around for few weeks or two months judging from 2017
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to build mining rigs? on: November 24, 2020, 09:22:22 AM
No it's a bad time to build mining rigs because they are still not profitable, altcoins and bitcoin are very bullish right now, it's better to sell off your old mining rigs and invest on promising top altcoins like Ethereum and XRP, you will make ROI faster this way than mining and waiting for months or years to recover your ROI
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing my $2000 to altcoins instead of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 09:18:50 AM
Guys, if you have $2k today, where do you put it? Which altcoins? Seems altcoins already rallied high and i dont want to be caught at the high.
Here are few reasons I invest in ETH, BCH and XRP among other top altcoins

1. Ethereum still have the reason to surge over 600$ because of its upcoming 2.0 upgrade which will give holders the staking feature

2. Few altcoins like BCH and XRP have been target by third party institutions for investment and payment solution, I believe their value will be big

3. If you can take risks I woul suggest diversity, allow bitcoin in your portfolio, don't go all in on altcoins only and once bitcoin reach a new ATH you can pull your ROI and invest in altcoin, bitcoin still have some power left
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I HAVE SOME DOUBTS REGARDING MINING 🙄🙄🙄🙄 on: November 23, 2020, 07:19:29 AM
Hi guys,

Thank you for you kind heart. Iam from a poor family. Don't afraid iam not asking money from you." If you're born poor thats not your fault.but if you die poor thats your fault" .a famous qoute.
I don't want to die poor. I have a normal computer . 2gb ram only. Don't knwo about the graffics card. I would be very happy
If i can mine a crypto at this spec. I don't know how you take my question .  Please share some basic knowledge of mining with me.

If anyone can help me please contact me @enriche1 (telegram username)

Note : Don't mock me in comments
It's not a good time to start mining right now and again your rig is outdated, you won't make anything mining with your setup, it's better to sell what you have and use the money to buy a altcoin since we are almost in altcoin season, you will make good profits this way, buy top altcoins like XRP, BNB, Chainlink etc
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can one make effective use of the Excrow? on: November 23, 2020, 07:14:10 AM
I believe in tokens more than USDT because you can make more profits from tokens than USDT due to lack of volatility, also majority of bounty campaigns with USDT rewards have very low bounty allocations, some don't even use limited participants and in the end you will only get few dollars due to too many participants
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a wish for small projects on: November 23, 2020, 07:11:28 AM
Small projects don't need to pay large sum of money to list for IEO on top exchanges, the team can use Uniswap, this DEX is the best right now and it has good reviews so far, it costs nothing to list a token on Uniswap, if the so called small project ( which I don't believe in ) have a very good utility investors will have interest, slowly but surely the project will have better volumes and eventually get listed on other exchanges
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 5700 XT GPU on: November 22, 2020, 10:05:10 AM
Is 88° a safe temp for RX5700 XT? I have one that gives that much temperature when mining and it's scaring the shit out of me, I planned to build a rig with 8 RX5600XT but the temperature makes me stop my order after the first order got to me, AMD cards are too hot, I fear this card won't survive for long if mining for 24hrs everyday
68  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 22, 2020, 10:01:31 AM
Can one still dare to invest in Bitcoin when price is skyrocketing this high? I remember that some invested in Bitcoin at 20,000$ and the whole market started crashing on them, before they could pull out their money it's already too late and till today they haven't recovered their money, is this a good time to get in or it's already too late?
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: November 21, 2020, 09:26:45 AM
Telegram is just a social media platform, it's not to be blamed for how people use the platform, every crypto projects have telegram groups and majority of these groups aren't active, even if the groups are active you can't judge a project with been active on telegram or not, always have in the your mind that serious teams don't have time to spend on telegram group, they are always busy with development
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 09:23:53 AM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: November 20, 2020, 08:58:07 AM
The reason why bitcoin goes down to 3600$ in March of this year wasn't really because of the pandemic, it's because if the panic that Bitcoin and crypto may die and there was a massive sell off, this is what drags bitcoin to its feet and later recovers, I never had too many value coins in my portfolio then so......
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 08:54:35 AM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k

Actually what happened to ethereum?
Are you sure you are here that last time when Ethereum entered 1500$ per one? I doubt that because we all know that not until January 2018 most altcoins still failed to surge, if btc dominance don't go down whales won't pull their money out of Bitcoin into altcoins, whales have a big part to take for altcoins to be profitable like  they did in 2017 to early 2018
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 19, 2020, 07:57:54 AM
Nigeria is on the top 10 most corrupted countries in the world, what do you expect? We can't forget what happened last year in america, many where arrested for massive fraud cases and they aren't stopping, the economy of that country is very very bad I heard so I don't expect anything else from such country
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 19, 2020, 07:54:47 AM
I don't believe that, I still don't know why people likes comparing new smart contract projects with ethereum, is ethereum the only smart contract that's fit the challenge? How about others that are toping? Like

1. RSK
2. Stellar
3. EOS
4. Tron

Which new smart contract project have beaten this ones yet? Lol
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dump on: November 18, 2020, 07:50:19 AM
well, it's hard to tell.
Pump and dumps don't have to be orchestrated by the project team itself.
usually with good projects it's done by 3rd parties, like marketing firms who were paid in these coins, or exchanges.
For example, one project i'm following paid bitcoin.com exchange listing in their coin, and they dumped their bags few days ago and downed the price by 95%.
Pump and dump are of two different type, one is pump and dump to level and the other is pump and dump to death, for example every projects that listed on Binance exchange always pump because of the news as we know it but later it dumps to a level price, pump and dump to death happens with projects that have no good intentions from the beginning, the team planned to pump and dump the token and exit scam
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: November 18, 2020, 07:47:18 AM
Crypto isn't a problem in my country, when the government don't have idea about crypto they called crypto scam and tell people not to invest but later even the government start talking positive about crypto, even if a president of a country ban crypto it won't stop people from investing and adopting, it's never going to work
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I could consider staking if .... on: November 17, 2020, 07:49:53 AM
Guys is there any way to stake coins in your very own wallet without sending to another wallet? Is there any project or blockchain that allows staking in door only? Please share because I can't sleep at night sending my coins to other wallet for staking returns
Unfortunately the answer is NO, don't try finding unpopular staking projects that allow staking through their wallets or while holding them, those projects are either suffering from lack of adoption or volumes, as for more popular POS coins none has this ability you seeking for, sorry
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ICO, market has IEO. After DeFi, market has CyberFi. Be cautious! on: November 17, 2020, 07:47:13 AM
OP has a point, there are some successful DeFi projects but many of them are scam and pump and dump projects, very soon we can start seeing new ideas that are 100% scam in disguise, we have to be cautious, don't jump into projects because they are new ideas, use your time to do deep analysis first
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 08:19:47 AM
Are we getting better now after 10 years, after ten years there are still hacking going on, there are still many scam projects and the market is still volatile but on the lighter side the adoption is progressive, the market always recovers from any situation, and there are good project coming in.

It's true that good new projects are coming into the space but thanks to the grand masters like Bitcoin, XRP, LTC, ETH, they are the reasons why crypto adoption works better, new projects aren't this close anymore, though few managed to enter top 10 but that is it, thanks to BTC we are this close to mass adoption and thanks to china for taking the bold steps to support crypto since past years now, now CBDC become a possibility because of crypto currency
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: November 16, 2020, 08:10:18 AM
Nothing should hold back any new crypto project from getting launched, all this crypto thing can be done online without using an office or without gathering your team, teams can be from any part of the world, technology today can gather people together without actually appearing in front of each other, lame team will only use the pandemic or bear market as an excuse
