21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / W7 mining still alive? on: February 21, 2021, 09:06:44 PM
Honestly speaking Windows 7 is more better than Windows 10 back in the days when Windows 7 is still very much alive is there anyone out there still using Windows 7 to mine cryptocurrency today? I'm just a bit curious
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA is cutting the 3060's Hash Rate in Half & NEW Mining specific GPU's on: February 18, 2021, 06:01:53 PM
There should be a way around this, years ago there are gurus online that build their own Nvidia and AMD drivers from scratch to get better performance out of a gpu and they work better than the official released drivers, I'm guessing this same thing will happen with this RTX3060
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A forgotten story of bounty hunter on: February 18, 2021, 05:52:38 PM
That's right,a lots of bounty projects in 2018 have ended in scams
I waste a lot of the time in vain

but:
yahoo62278, lauda , wapinter
they are the best managers, and always appreciate the work of bounty hunters, I always get the best pay from them, because they know I work honestly and professionally.
Now I'm even more confused, your original posts talked about not getting paid from bounties and now you said you get best pay from yahoo66278,lauda and wapinter ? What should we believe right? You can't be in this space since 2018 without a single luck in bounties, its near impossible

I joined more than 200 bounty campaigns, yahoo62278, lauda, wapinter only 20%.
while 50% / etc no payment or scam . very sadly

Since 2018 I've promoted so many projects and very few brings insane profits for bounty hunters, I guess bounty hunting isn't about making money every turn, it's about finding the real gold among the stones and we all know that gold worths more, before I finally make good money from projects like Cartesi, DIA, STOBOX, Ferrum, AMEPAY, I've promoted more that wasn't satisfying at all, get used to it or quit bounty hunting.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this safe to run 24/7? on: February 18, 2021, 05:45:38 PM
I used to own a hd7970 that gives 80°c temp when mining Monero years ago, today this gpu still works and I've run on mining Monero for two and half years and here you are complaining about your gpu doing 62°C ? That's a very cooling operation friend, keep mining
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: is this site legit on: February 18, 2021, 05:43:20 PM
Scammers at work again, I've knew about this fake  asic miners website since 2017, a friend of a friend got caught in one and lost about 5000$ to the website, days later the website isn't working again, I'm sure he isn't the only victim at the time, buy asic miners or gpu from official source or popular online stores, it's safer this way than any.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 580 Rig in Trouble on: February 18, 2021, 05:40:23 PM
The information you provided is too limited, what is the wattage of your power supply? How much watts are those rx580s drawing? Do you know that a single rx580 can draw up to 140 watts when mining? Unless you do some tweaking on core voltage to lower power draw, I think the culprit is your power supply, if you don't have 850 watt power supply you are doing things wrong
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gpu memory error on: February 16, 2021, 04:33:10 PM
Too much of overclocking that bring this error and also high temp may have make the memory chips loose, you might need to resit the chips with a heater, you can find such videos on youtube, I followed one in 2018 and I revive a faulty GTX750 ti
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice for a bullrun newb on: February 16, 2021, 04:28:42 PM
The bitter truth is some people will surely be caught in this bullrun no matter worth, do you know that some are buying at this ATH? Now that elon musk is even involved it shows that there will be more adoption soon but bullrun will never be here forever, this is why we must take profits no mater how small
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Smart contract gas fee on: February 16, 2021, 04:25:47 PM
We all know that eth gas fee is different from smart contract tokens gas fee, infact way higher so I want to ask if there is a way to know how much sending tokens on Ethereum blockchain costs lately? Or if any send tokens to exchange today how much does it cost?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI Ventus 3x 3080 thermal pad replacement on: February 15, 2021, 03:10:02 PM
Why not thermal paste? Use the best thermal paste and you are good to go, thermal pads are only good for reducing temp on gpu memory chips like this down below

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth it to mine doge? on: February 15, 2021, 03:00:28 PM
Why do you want to mine Doge coin? Are you one of those who believe that Doge will hit 1$? Anyways Doge coin isn't the most profitable coin to mine now, even it's not on the top 5 lists on most profitable coins to mine right now, if because of future possible value is why you want to mine Doge it's better to buy instead
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: February 15, 2021, 02:54:19 PM
Before joining a bounty campaign take your time to check their team members, their twitter account, I believe that twitter accounts used to have better information about a project than any other media platforms I know, also apply your knowledge and ask yourself if the project utility could work or not, this will limit bounty disappointments
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Massive difference in results on: February 14, 2021, 07:24:05 PM
Windows OS have everything to do with loss of hashrates when updates get into your system without you knowing until you restart your PC, when I couldn't find a effective way to deactivate windows 10 update I've reload the whole OS just to get my normal hashrate back

I just did Win 10 updates on all my machines...no issues.  I set the scheduler so it doesn't automatically apply updates (i.e. restart) until I do it manually.  Still rock solid:

If this is a new build you will still face the wrath of windows 10 soon, I never knew this could be possible because before the lost in hashrate I used the PC for weeks with no issue but later my hashrates starts showing low hash speed
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Does Every Exchange Need To Have Its Own Token? on: February 14, 2021, 07:20:10 PM
It's an advantage worth taking  Grin, people like the idea of thinking that exchange tokens can easily being huge profits since the token have a real use case which is the exchange itself, they compare with bnb token, Wazirx, OKB etc, truth is not all exchanges that have its own token will do well like binance token
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LA TOKEN IS A SCAM EXCHANGE BEWARE OF THEM on: February 14, 2021, 07:15:57 PM
So latoken finally revealed who they really are? Lol I used to doubt the exchange because I've used it in the past and no problem until I made a deposit on the exchange years back and I couldn't withdrawal out of the exchange, this post should be move to scam accusation thread for many to see
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question about discard stales on: February 11, 2021, 10:39:34 AM
JayDDee is right, this ain't a big issue and it happened because of your network connection, I suggest you change the pool server to another, probably the one nearer to your location and you won't see such again
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: VPN on mining pool on: February 11, 2021, 08:10:04 AM
You don't understand how mining works, the higher the latency the lower the chances of getting shares accepted, don't use VPN just change location on the pool and try them out one by one, I find out that US server works better for me that Europe servers
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gas fees - Surge Prices on: February 11, 2021, 08:07:03 AM
I'm on Ethermine/Phoenixminer/lolminer, and recently cashed some out to an exchange (Canada) and was surprised by the high, I guess, 'gas fee' I was charged transferring my ETH from my wallet to the exchange (Shakepay).  The charge was about 8%.  I was then charged another $2 to e-transfer to my account.  Is this normal?  I've heard these are 'surge' prices.

Would I maybe be better off just using Nicehash straight to bitcoin, or are you still paying the same fees either way?
It's why I don't mine ETH to get ETH, I mine ETH to get BTC because gas fee is lower on btc than Ethereum, the best solution you can get is find pools that pay in btc or other coins that isn't Ethereum or just download Nicehash software and start mining
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: These old cards still useful? on: February 11, 2021, 08:01:14 AM
Hello all,

Do you think AMD R9 390X FE card worth buying now?
It's mining performance about 30MH/s.  But it wastes a lot electricity(about 240W) and noisy
However, I can get several 390Xs at $80.  Is it still worth investing them?

Yes it's worth buying if you have free electricity, 80$ per card at 30MH pers second is something I wished for, you will get ROI in just a months, right now 30MH per second gives 3$ pee day and that's 90$ per month
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you also mine any of these coins? on: February 11, 2021, 07:54:49 AM
OMG... i thought that i know the main part of shitcoins 2017-18 but you surprised me. I mined only TRTL and even never heard about the others. Just forget them.
PS. QWERTY coin looks like a scam right at first look. Smiley
I thought QWERTY coin and BBSCOIN will be another Doge coin kinda coin without the meme coin part but I was surprised they end up becoming shitcoins, I mined turtle coin, I think 300,000 coins and till date I don't even look back since the price is very low
