Bitcoin has not failed. It is basically the biggest computational experiment to ever exist. It's still in alpha/beta and still very young, all cryptos are.
I know it is the biggest experiment, but it has indeed failed. How do you tackle the problem of hoarders? Everyone whom i told about bitcoin said why should he buy a bitcoin at astronomical rates and make early adopters even more rich. Satoshi failed to have a fair distribution model or is it that he is himself hoarding several thousands. |

You need to make a cryptocoin with fair share of coins. Everyone who downloads and uses the wallet for the first time will be awarded with 1 coin. The number of total coins will be determined by the number of wallets.
You should be awarded, this is how a currency should work. Bitcoin wasnt genius because it made early adopters the only significant ones hoarding thousands of coins. This makes it all look like a big ponzi. The whole crypto has become a stock market now. People doing trading all day long. Bitcoin has failed |

What makes you think that these other Alt coins(C2,karma,feather,doge etc) will be of any worth in the future?
Did i say that karma holds a future? i said its dead. I dont have feather, doge. C2 has a very active dev and is working on a first person shooter where C2 bets can be made. If the game picks up, C2 will be going up. The dev has named several other big things for it. So for medium term, C2 looks promising |

Karma is worthless at the time, 1 satoshi sell orders totaling 50-60 btc at mintpal and no buy order. It is effectively dead. The devs are working on it still, have 15 btc bounties but it has poor hopes of revival. I am also holding 20 lac karma |

A betting system where people can place bets on teams/players. Their stats can be used to get odds. Would be nice to see something like this shortly after you launch the game/exchange.

Is it related to bitcoin (china bad news panic) or is it something else?
Even though its on huobi and btcchina, what else does litecoin need to branch off.
Is litecoin prices connected (somewhat to btc prices or is it separate)

Source of problem: You are interested in Bitcoin's daily fiat exchange rate instead of interested in Bitcoin's incredible utility as a superior technology, a better "way of doing money".
Ignore the exchange rate. Speculators don't matter. Judge it objectively, as a scientist would, and you will see cryptocurrency is the future, and fiat is the past.
There's no way around it.
And that is not happening unless hoarders liquidate their holdings. Till then bitcoin will only be an expensive speculative collectors item |

This is where bitcoin failed terribly, hoarders holding large stash and only rich miners or should i say bitcoin bagholders able to mine the rest of them with current difficulty levels. I think alts with no premine are much more fair
