I feel like without bitcoin recovering over 10k again, we won't get to see an altcoin season. Yes, it could happen without bitcoins help but people are too focus on the bitcoin price right now and while they are focusing on the bitcoin price they can't really get to do an altcoin season where they are investing into altcoins.
First, the bitcoin price has to reach a level where it could go as high as possible, and after that people need to realize they made as much money as they could possibly from bitcoin and its not going any further up and should switch their money into altcoins. Only then we will get to see one, most of the time even after bitcoin goes up we do not see an altcoin season so we should not expect any while its going down for sure that's what I can say.
agree with this opinions, bitcoin must rise first then altcoin can go to follow bitcoin price that scenario happened in the last altseason where happened in the last 2017, i think the next altseason will be not far from that scenario because as far i know, history always repeats itself Today's bitcoin has increased significantly, you can see today's market chart that bitcoin has increased 11.5%. and some of the top altcoins are starting to follow the bitcoin price movements. so I think the top altcoin in the market still has a chance to experience price increases again. |

2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.

I do agree with the things listed above but at the situation that we are currently experiencing, things won't work as expected. There are many projects out there which are really promising but ends up failing or being successful but not that profitable. The market value of cryptos do suddenly fall right now, upon being listed on the exchanges. This simply implies that no matter how hard we wanted to earn profit from projects right now, the market behavior would still be a bigger factor. For me, this is not the right time to invest despite of being tempting due to low market prices. I think the current market behavior is a good opportunity to buy some crypto at a low price but return again with a safe investment. like investing in bitcoin to minimize losses, now is not the right time to sell, it's just that if you have investments that are difficult to develop, maybe the next step is selling and replacing them with better coins. |

I feel cheated ... but the fact that every project that promises or claims tokens will eventually increase at a very high price is just nonsense ...
in a statement on the road map they promised to use project funds for further product development, but they were only trying to take advantage of the investors' black money ...
what they have to do is develop their product further, not just start doing it or say all the sweet promises ...
maybe it's one of the things they have to reconsider, if their project wants to be successful and the project product can be sold out in the market ...

Cryptocurrency hypes are over so dont expect much, in the following years to come, Investing in any options like (stocks, cryptocurrency etc. has no guarantee to earn thats why do it at your own risk, and if you already know all of these it means that you accept those sad truth. or even the harsh reality that you mentioned. maybe it's still there but it takes a long time. and I agree with you about the risks of investing in the cryptoqurrency market and it is a fact that investing is so risky that whatever we have done, we must also be prepared to accept every consequence. with respect to OP, it seems that OP has gained new experience. Simply put, if a coin has a high selling price of course the coin has a high trading volume. but if a coin has a high selling price but a small trading volume, it is a red flag for you and it is not much different from money laundering or market manipulation.
