1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: October 09, 2018, 01:30:12 PM

Blame the bonuses as early participants of an ICO. I have participated in some ICO some that I were backed by several people who are in the cryptosphere for a long time and have gained reputation already. If you have gone on youtube and watch some people there who reviews ICO, you got to be checking why they said something good  about an ICO that you haven't read in the forum.  I don't have much ETH but it kept me alive after sending some to invest to  a project like EOS. Who doesn't?

But besides the bonuses, what are people looking for when they want to invest in an ICO,I see that you are also wearing their signature, what is acctually a semi-decentralized exchange?

I'm kinda sceptic about youtube, people get paid to promote ICO's and projects, they can share the idea of the project, but its paid advertizing actually, and people are ready to do anything for money

I know that most of todays traders are here just to make a quick buck, they dont care about the project, or the idea behind the project, they just want "PUUUPM" and "MOOOON". And with all the scam ICO's that we had in the past( my personal favorite BitConneeeeect) people have lost faith in ICO's. But still new ICO's and new ideas are being published every day, I've seen on some projects that i'm following that they reached their soft or hardcap, but what triggers my mind is: Who is investing in those ICO's, what is the one thing that lures the todays investors into investing in a certain project?
The correct answer should be ico traders if you don't know about that and i suggest you join in the santiment channel discussion and there was a lot of people are talking about ico and which is ico that will give a uge potential a big return instantly. I have been following this case from a few years ago.

Could you please provide me with the link, i'm really interested in the whole concept of tokenizing an idea, and how to "lure" people to invest and help someone achieve something big

I don’t know how a newbie learns so much in a few period of time
But I think you need to take a chill pill
And make decisions for yourself
Neglect other people’s opinion just take few lessons from it

Why does my BTCT rank matter ? You got some merit and you think you're better than me?

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: September 21, 2018, 02:27:10 PM
First when i started i wanted to be a hodler, i'm still hodling those coins and my initial investment from that time went down like x20(invested in February)
But with my latest investment a few days back and with day-trading i went up x5 and i accumulate small profits. Never be greedy, and know when to exit.
Still its up to you what you want to do with your coins, try both ways and see where you find yourself better.

Its like gambling, only invest the amount you are ready to lose
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic of traders on: September 21, 2018, 10:36:51 AM
Every day I see more and more people starting to feel hopeless with the current market situation because of uncertainty when prices will recover and end this fall. Even more and more traders are deciding to resign from trading and sell all of their assets but that makes the price even more falling.

Be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy my friend

Why is my TRX withdrawal getting"refused by the system error"?

Can you double check the address you're sending to? And the amount must have a maximum 2 decimal on it, example:

1.12 < OK
1.12345 < Not OK

Okay that worked, but why cant i withdraw all the funds, that is also money?

and also GreenSeem asked a good question:

Quote
does that apply to all currencies? how if we want to withdraw 1.123 BTC? it means we can only withdrawing 1.12 BTC? how about the rest?

i hope not, if so you will lose many customers
