141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Quitting Bitcoin Mining Is Very Positive in Long Term on: October 05, 2021, 01:34:44 AM
China plays well to manipulate the market for bitcoin to crash. expelling miners from china will not stop mining. China is influential but when the miners have left China, and some miners start with environmentally friendly energy in other countries, of course the Chinese FUD will no longer have an effect.

The total ban on bitcoin mining in China is claimed to have a long-term positive impact on China, such as reducing the use of fossil fuel energy. But it will not completely happen.

Yes china's bad news always have impact for market to be down but it already happen multiple times since years ago but anything bad is not happening. We should be smarter as an investor just to not believe anything pop up on media and with no filtering at all.
I'm sure whatever china do with bitcoin, it won't make bitcoins drop, and i'm also sure china has already took much advantages from bitcoin and they won't let it go.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2021, 07:26:33 AM
To my little understanding, I think some of the wealthy people hate bitcoin basically because it helps the poor people to get easily rich to the standard of meeting them at their caliber.

This could be the reason because usually an old millionaires earned their wealth through ups and down in decades but there are some young millionaires flexing their sport cars on social media because of cryptocurrency or bitcoin.
But i think the millionaires who hate bitcoins is in fear that their old business model no longer work well if the world is changing into decentralized based when people are using bitcoin or cryptocurrency.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 04, 2021, 02:34:07 AM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?

It's no longer the era where physical assets is more valueable, the world has changed, everything is online and less physical interaction between people.
So i think gold is no longer as valuable as right now in the future, digital assets is starting to create a new era which people are much in demand with bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
The real value of bitcoin is as the priec right now. When supply is limited and the demand keep increasing, the value of bitcoin is increasing also everytime.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: October 03, 2021, 08:12:52 AM
If you're a beginner, I would suggest that you shouldn't rely on crypto indicators but rather focus on dealing with the market so you'll know what the possible changes could happen. It's better to have the confidence to trade by relying on your knowledge about the market charts and technical analysis.

Yeah as a newbie, doing too much indicators and technical analysis will confuse you because the crypto market is agile and your analysis results won't be happen in reality that much, the technical analysis in crypto just been there just to help you not losing too much money when the price is already not make sense to hold. more over if we just have low capital, technical analysis won't make much profits for us if we rely on it.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robbery on: October 01, 2021, 01:34:10 AM
This is well known already, it's the $5 wrench attack:

https://xkcd.com/538/

If you want to know more, here is a list of known bitcoin physical attacks:

https://github.com/jlopp/physical-bitcoin-attacks/blob/master/README.md

So in any case, if you are into bitcoin or crypto in general, don't tell anyone, specially in public places as criminals are roaming around and looking for their next victims.

It's sad when a highly private digital wallet like cryptocurrency could be "highjack" by thug person like that, consequently as a crypto wallet owner we should not share our crypto's owning to social media or to anything on the internet. Usually new people on crypto who have the wallet with thousand bucks or after got hundreds percent profits from trading futures is feeling like so cool and post their things on their social media and let their friends think they're so cool as the "crypto guy".
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: September 30, 2021, 08:12:22 AM
If Bitcoin would be A World power or World Currencry.
There is no difference with the Fiat Currency Right now, there are Some Country That Banned Bitcoin. But We All believe To the power of bitcoin, Continues growing until the others will  accept the bitcoin as world currency.

It's the same because both of bitcoins and fiat posession is controlled by a group of rich people, but i think the people who holds fiat right now it's more powerful because they controlled the world economy already for a long time but bitcoin is just appeared this last 2 decades.
So i think bitcoin needs more community and their rich and powerful people have to join and promote cryptocurrency if bitcoin want to be a world power as the OP said. It's a very long journey to get there.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Bitcoin Ban Again? Whenever In Doubt, Look At This List on: September 30, 2021, 01:20:52 AM
this happens often and it's no stranger when china implements this kind of ban because they want to do anything with their own version and don't want any products or anything related to the west, including technology.
I don't know whether it will have an impact or not for its citizens, but what is certain is that something like this is indeed the way they are taking to compete and fight technology from the west.
the concept is like instead of using other people's products, they are better off making their own products even though the products they make are not as good as foreign products.
for example, they rely more on the QQ browser or UC browser which incidentally is the original product they made instead of using Google Chrome which is already very global, besides that now they choose to ban bitcoin in order to design the CDBC they manage.

Yeah it's because china has huge population, they think they could running the country by theirself without any cooperation with another countries including the technology and anything related to products that will be used daily. Actually this is very good for making a country big because the commitment and the loyalty of the people to the country is very solid, but the impact to crypto space is quite big since china has one of the biggest crypto possesion.
I think the crypto community in the future must be not relying on china anymore because this country is controlled by their top brass which could changing decision suddenly in a short time.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be more effective in the future on: September 29, 2021, 06:24:08 AM
As long as internet is spreading more and more around the world, when every corners in this world is covered with internet and technology i'm sure bitcoin or cryptocurrency is the most fit currency to replace traditional currency because it could send money anywhere and anytime with ease.
We all know that time will happen and we as the veteran investors at that time will enjoy the results what we investing years ago  Cheesy
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners Are the Bears on: September 29, 2021, 01:16:12 AM
When BTC price drops due to sell off, People panic and say a lot of bad things. But what i think is miners need money probably to improve thier mining facilities. I never expect bitcoin miners to buy btc. All they should do is sell and probably upgrade mining facilities.
Also, with lesser miners, transaction hash rate will be low so sell off from them will always bring a positive result to the bitcoin network.

So, if miners sell, its mostly favorable because it gives people more opportunity to buy at discount prices, also gives miners more fund to upgrade thier mining facilities and helps the bitcoin network function more better.
So, Miners are the bears and they are Good for the Bitcoin Network.

I think the whales effect is have more impact than just a miner that want to sell their "ores" to buy new mining stuff because they won't do it together with other miners but whales is different. They have a group whales with millions dollars worth of cryptocurrency and when they decided to mass selling, the market will red. That's the power of the whales. And also supported with FUD with big media, people who panic or will follow their wave and having many losses.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: September 28, 2021, 06:15:35 AM
Bitcoin have been in existence since 2009. And also grown over the years. Bitcoin have a bright future, in the nearest future, Bitcoin will basically be accepted in more countries, and will face few bans. Some businesses now accept Bitcoin as a payment method, also the population of Bitcoin user has increased. However Bitcoin have faced many challenges, but overcome them and still remain a strong and reliable Coin. I don't see Bitcoin to be a failure.

As we can see bitcoin adoption is huge starting from this year, bitcoin lightning networks has been used widely and it provide zero fees while doing small transaction which means it's system is applicable to any payments event a small paymentss like groceries.
It just a beginning and maybe it will face more struggle in the future but if we look back at the first time crypto launched, there are already huge positive changes that make people are more trust to invest in cyptocurrency.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nft hype-cyvle is over? on: September 28, 2021, 01:39:51 AM
We cannot really conclude that the NFT hype cycle is over yet, but i am sure it would come to an end soon. Because all the several hype in the crypto market always have an end. Check out the likes of ICO, IEO, Defi, etc. They all started with huge hype, but the hype died off later.

Actualy hype projects is over not because there are another project type is coming but if something is hype, there will be a lot of scammers coming with the same type of project and make the system looks bad.
There are a lot of scamming NFT project right now which make people wrong to invest and lose money, and those people will said NFT is no longer a good project even though they made their own mistakes.
NFT is really fit for entertainment crypto space, such as games. Games with NFT is really promising and i'm sure it will survive for the upcoming years.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: feel like never wanting to use crypto again on: September 27, 2021, 06:16:46 AM
Everything's bad happen in cypto is an expensive experience that we could share to others and make the community of cryptocurrency growing better.
So i think everytime we make a loss, we contribute to make crypto space better. If you experienced scam or got hacked, you can share the experience so the people who owns the wallet or exchange could evaluate what is their mistake and how to fix it. Also for people induvidually, they could be more careful in the future.
153  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance NonVerified Account? on: September 26, 2021, 07:13:21 AM
I was verifying my account right after i registered in binance because i think the exchange is big anough and safe enough to me and giving my identity to remove the limit of trade and withdrawing. But i think you still could withdraw it later.
But my suggestion is better you withdraw it now and send your balance to trust wallet, you can make it free by your smartphone and it's quite safe to use.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA Banning bitcoin: PBOC Says All Crypto-Related Transactions Are Illegal on: September 26, 2021, 03:34:02 AM
In a centralized country like China, today's rich may become tomorrow's prisoners. There is no free country. Bitcoin will not have a good future.

You're right, that's why china is a very big country because they have to make sure everything their people do has advantages to their country which is very nice for a country but it's very bad for the humanity freedom.
Although they could owning bitcoin without their government permission, but disallowance to crypto will bring bad impact to if all countries doing the same and make cryptocurrency will less valuable in the future.
Some people said it's just a FUD but as long we know, china has their own digital currency e-yuan and maybe they make sure their people are investing on thir own currency instead of cryptocurrency
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers stole my $375,000 worth of NFT on: September 25, 2021, 06:48:18 AM
On Saturday hackers stole my 375,000 worth of NFTs and crypto tokens from two of my Ethereum wallet. Before I start I know how stupid I was $375k worth of stupid, I put my private keys and seed phrase in text files on my Mac's filesystem, that is a bad idea. I didn't use a hardware wallet for high value assets.

What Happened?
Hackers found  METAMASK & TRUST WALLET ETHEREUM PRIVATE KEYS on my Mac's  and use them to login to OPENSEA and sell off everything they could for WETH , then they transferred all the WETH and other tokens

That's scary to see how hackers could gaining an access to our local computer, i wonder why how they do that so we could be more careful in the future.
Did you visited any untrusted website before or the hackers could trace our computer just by the address that they see ? if you are not doing any dangerous activity and the hackers could hijack your PC, that means the wallet security have to be improved.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT is an interesting space on: September 25, 2021, 12:29:19 AM
I highly recommend you to take a look at such project at Duelist King. This is NFT-related.

Card game NFT was successful back then, but i don't think if the project hasn't started yet it will be successful in the future because people are more creative creating NFT games, there are much more fun genre to explore such as creating virtual world like minecraft and RPG games with a quite good graphics. So i think card games is just the beginning of NFT games but people are more likely to play another challenging and fun games in the future.
But does not rule out the possibility some people are fans of card games.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time for all ALTcoin on: September 24, 2021, 06:48:34 AM
The previous year 2020 is the good year for the altcoin. The reason is that the last year bull run comes and altcoins perform outstanding. Some altcoins performed very good such as BNB. This coin pumps 20x , 30x within a year. And BNB coin price is pumping day by day. But if you have missed the last year opportunity then don't worry buy good altcoin coins when bitcoin price dump. Because this time all altcoins are available at very cheap prices.

Those pumps are also affected by bitcoin price increase because it brings more hype to cryptospace and hooking more investors to invest in altcoin. Most of new people who are new to cryptocurrency must be invest in bitcoin at first. But after they are like one month explring crypto, they must know there are multiple returns altcoin that could be profitable if they invest to them, and they start to speculating which coin that they want to buy.
So i think we need bitcoin pump first before we see another altcoin bull run because it will attract new investors
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Should be in Syllabus of Students? on: September 24, 2021, 01:25:53 AM
Investing and finance in general should be in the syllabus; not necessarily crypto, just like how we don't necessarily need the stock market to be a focus, but just a subset. Proper investing and finance is a lot more than investing in cryptocurrencies alone.

Of course, young people in today's world are taught about investing, which may not be open to everyone, but those who study business education are included in the syllabus.  Even then anyone who wants to learn about this can take part in various courses.

Cryptocurrency and investing in general should be in different subject or sylabus because if we talk only about investing in crypto, we can't deny the market is unstable and seems a bit controlled by whales and the market is not suitable for investing study.
The cryptocurrency sylabus should be more about how the blockchain system running behind it and the impact to the investors. Or even more how the platform is made with programming concept behind it ( but i think it's more like computer science subject ).
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rich people causes cryptocurrency ban on: September 23, 2021, 07:14:13 AM
I can't think that rich people causes cryptocurrency ban because it is modern and digital currency. Rich people can buy and trade Bitcoin which make them richer and it is big benifit.

It's not about how rich people could buy the cryptocurrency but it's because rich people who influence other citizens and shares how they could got profit from cryptocurrency, this kind of act will lead to the people in a country starts buying crypto also and the government must be not uncomfortable if the people are moving their assets into digital assets which couldn't be track to cut thir taxes.
If i'm at the government, i also feel the same thing. So in the future we need some technology and a system which can track crypto ownership from it's people, but it's hardly to happen
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: September 23, 2021, 02:09:49 AM
I really would like to throw away those shitcoins in my wallet but it doesn't worth because if we transfer it to another wallet there will be fee for it and currrently swapping is the good way to do it but recently there are some issues that shitcoins is planted with hacking method which is if we connected our wallet to swap those shitcoins, they could access our wallet and doing something with our wallet. That was scared me, so i just ignored them right now and also a feature in my wallet which only show the coins / tokens that i want to see. So it doesn't matter actually
