1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: June 20, 2020, 11:39:57 PM
Deep regret was not selling anything in 2017. My life could had been completely different at the moment. It has become something that will probably be a life long regret.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 16, 2020, 11:36:25 PM
When you say you get stuck with USD when trading, what exactly do you mean? Isn't that a choice?
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Humans Have Free Will? on: January 18, 2020, 02:00:13 AM
Free will with genetics and environmental considerations. Your genetics might make you angry, happy and so forth, and that has a major influence. And within that influence you have freewill.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Door To Door Forced Vaccinations Now Taking Place in Samoa on: January 02, 2020, 01:04:56 AM
Interesting. Isn't Samoa like a really small country? If there's sometime of new diseases it can take everyone out. Having said that, in such a small country people should be allowed to choose if they want to be vaccinated. If there's a measles outbreak for example, then those who chose not to will get it and does who did will not.

Is there an audio version that I can listen to while in my car. Too long of a read, but I'm curious of what it says.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Askcoin (ASIC-resistant) is a decentralized Q&A and prediction platform. on: July 07, 2019, 02:08:36 AM
How do we know who to ask and whether they are capable of answering the question?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: June 28, 2019, 03:18:46 AM
Hello. I downloaded the NEM wallet, after many years, and I want to log in with my old account. But I don't see any options to import private key, or enter account address. The only options is to select wallet from local storage.

There's some documentation on how to import private key on the NEM forum:

https://docs.nem.io/en/nanowallet

Thanks.

But all I find is a definition of what a private key is. Kind of weird that there's not an intuitive option.

It's ok, I'll just create a new one.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: May 27, 2019, 10:35:20 PM
Always dct is about 1300 sat.
Only $0.12-0.13.
Does this team have a plan?
Despite the fact that btc is almost 9K, the price of dct is still unlikely to recover.

After all these months you're still trolling and Fudding. That is truly unbelievable.

Fud?
Today new record 1104 sat. Always dumped and dumped.
Amazing coin!!!!
Idiot team!!!!
This coin is no different than a scam coin.
Not listing Binance or Upbit krw pair, no hope.
Dead coin!!!!

I don't believe that but just one look at your comment history says all that needs to be said about you. After so many months you're still at it. And it seems that you are going back and forth overly supporting and then fudding.

11  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Do you expect/want to make a lot of money without much effort? on: May 26, 2019, 11:13:17 PM
I've been working all my life. If somehow I get money without much effort, in a sense it's going to feel like I deserved it. The same goes for most people.

There are those who never worked who want a lot of money with no effort.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOKEN SALE - Gladius Network [GLA] - DDoS Protection On The Blockchain on: August 30, 2018, 01:26:07 AM
Tried to collect some GLA coin but cant able to collect because of no one dumping GLA now. I also tried to buy from form forkdelta and etherdelta but no one selling GLA now  Angry  Angry Kucoin price is also high so I am sure soon or after the lunch of public beta GLA coin would hit a good price. hold tight guys also waiting for the latest update.

Do it now. Down 20 percent.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the mission of crypto? on: August 16, 2018, 05:10:30 AM
You just have to look at the different functions of different coins. Privacy coins allows for untraceable transactions, for example. Another example is a coin called Decent, which is about content distribution, allowing creators to cut out the middleman, such as Apple, Amazon, taking 30 to 50% of the profit. Such an idea can cut down on the price of books, movies, and so on.

I think we should reconsider having to retweet all the tweets, and just have it be like a more normal week. Invariably a good amount of people will miss one, specially newer people, which will cause anger. And I know people are going to say it's their fault and all, but in terms of easy things to miss, this is one. And I'm just afraid of the repercussions, with people leaving all together and selling their coins.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: August 09, 2018, 09:27:02 PM
I hate the term panic selling, because it has less to do with panic selling people and more to do with certain people taking advantage of a situation. Some people might sell portion in order to minimize risk, or even to buy back in cheaper.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain technology is not a trend on: August 06, 2018, 02:09:35 PM
Blockchain is used mostly as a word for people who are afraid of using the term Bitcoin or crypto currencies since they are constantly talked about in a negative way in the media. It gives them a way to talk about how it works, without having to talk about "made up money." It's BS.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 06, 2018, 05:10:46 AM
I find it to be a revolution that I was unfortunate to miss out the beginnings of (2009-2012). When I first got into it in 2014 I was just absolutely sick to my stomach and depressed because I felt that I found it so late. I couldn't imagine that it was going to grow even further.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 Mistakes you should never do in crypto trading✌✌ on: August 02, 2018, 10:45:36 PM
I made so many of those mistakes, particularly buying this one shit coin at an all time high. That’s the one that has hurt me the most, the most painful, especially putting everything in it, committing another bad mistake in not diversifying. So many mistakes running through my head.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The coins we despise on: July 30, 2018, 11:30:24 PM
I do kind of not despise Bitcoin Cash, but I just hated the fork that happened. It destroyed all the alts the I had. Which I didn't know it would. And I didn't get any. I see it more as a money grab. A lot of people made a lot of money, not just off of Bitcoin Cash, but Bitcoin. Just a money grab.
20  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Any knowledgable thoughts on how to create a healthy environment for ICOs? on: July 27, 2018, 03:32:35 AM
I know a coin who raised over 230 million dollars, and after launch it steadily went down to $4,000,000.

That is such a disaster, you would think it would be something that's talked a lot about, but no, it's just another failed ICO.

There have to be so many horror story of people losing everything.
