1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: December 11, 2020, 12:02:03 AM
I don't know how I feel about it. The Russian vaccine takes 40 days to take effect, and you cannot do things such as drink beer. All for something that kills basically only old people.
Russian vaccine is 2 in 1 solution. It will not only will help to fight with pandemic, but also will prevent people from drinking alcochol for some time at least Cheesy.
But seriously, I wouldn't say that virus kill only old people. Even if it would kill only old people, it's big problem. Numbers of infected people and deaths is way too big in comparison with flu. I'm not sure that I'm going to take covid vaccine, but vaccine is probably only solution which can let us to return to normal life. It doesn't looks that virus is going to disappear soon.

That is a two in one.

It mostly kills people with underlying conditions, as well as old people who in general have more underlying conditions. So those people should definitely take the vaccine. It's just that with the current death rate, the country shouldn't be shut down. People should just practice the social distancing and great hygiene.

You put a dog down because he's sick and suffering, not because he barks too much. Put him up for adoption.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump Has Been Impeached. What's Next? [serious discussion] on: January 31, 2020, 02:39:58 AM
I am sure Trump will also get away from getting impeached because of recent Iranian general killing.

Technically, both presidents (Clinton and Trump) were indeed impeached, but that is only half of what takes for them to be removed from office. Much like Clinton, the senate will probably acquit Trump, meaning he won't be removed from office. However, I do agree with you that this whole thing with Iran likely serves to create a distraction away from the whole impeachment issue.

I always wondered what it meant to be impeached. Clinton was impeached yet he was still President and fulfilled his full termed. It's pretty much a waste of time what they are doing.

Its symbolic, at least, but more importantly a message that a president simply cannot do whatever he wants, when he wants.

Ok, it can be symbolic, but that symbolism doesn't do anything. The Trump supporter will still support him, and perhaps even more since they would take it as an attack from the Democrats. And the Trump hater will still hate him.

6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: slavery always was the condition of 99%+ of the worlds society and even elites on: January 03, 2020, 04:20:39 PM
We're all virtual slaves, but the difference is that we have a choice. We can choose to live a simple life, go live off the land, and not care so much about being down with the Jones. We have that type of freedom.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump has declared war on water saving toilets and it’s hilarious (15 times) :) on: December 11, 2019, 02:37:50 AM
I don't understand the name calling of the president by people at all.
Snip of trumps hilarious nicknames

Yeah I don't even think Trump is upset when people call him names like this, the guy is literally the king of nicknames and making them stick. I think most people who were involved/keeping track of politics during the 2016 Republican primary will NEVER forget Lyin Ted, Little Macro, and Crooked Hillary.

Top tier nicknames. Some would even say marketing genius.

My second favorite was Low Energy Jeb. It really painted a picture that would not be very attractive to the voters. And Crazy Joe.

Science if about observations and facts, religion is about faith.

Makes me wonder why some of you guys don't actually think that the moon is actually made of cheese.

It's very simple and interesting if you think about it. How these pumper and dumpers operate. It just shifts the momentum one way. You could have someone wanting to invest heavily on a coin and when you have a dedicated group fudding it can prevent that person and their momentum from having the coin catch a big break.

Why would someone dedicate the time and resources? They probably want to buy more.

Yeah, it's obvious that holmes wanted to fud, but do you really think that whales are looking for cheap newb fud from couple of accounts to make their decisions on their market moves? And this is not coordinated fud or based on anything. This would be weakest fud campaing ever.

I'm not talking about whales, but for coins out of the top 20 such FUDs do have an effect I think. Particularly with supporters who get exhausted, or who sell in a moment of weakness. Obviously for Bitcoin it wouldn't have an effect since its volume is so high.

Obviously there's some benefit to this holmes person, else why would he dedicate so many hours a day shamelessly FUDDING, and then pumping it.

I would do such a thing, but in terms of character, I think you would have to be the type of person who in real life would have no problem committing arm robbery. Not sure why that example specifically popped into my head.

Yes it was you holmes70 who killed the Decent, and it was because of you that I abandoned the Decent, you complains that only have sales but you are blame for not having more buyers.

Please tell me how the foundation that has 9 offices around the world, was killed by one newb btctalk account. Cheesy

There seem to be a lot less airdrop going on these days. Compared to last year. Less competition, so maybe this is good.

What exactly is a hackaton? Is it some sort of competition set up by Decent?
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: June 25, 2018, 01:49:23 AM
As of today 06-24-2018, crypto is not trending. It was trending from last June to December. But right now it's not trending news.

That's a good idea. The problem would be that you won't be able to send your other coins that way.
16  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The myth of the limited Bitcoin on: June 14, 2018, 06:35:14 PM
Since that's not something that seems anywhere near to happen any time in the future, then you can't call the fact that Bitcoin is limited a myth. Someone can fork Bitcoin, but then it wouldn't really be Bitcoin.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: June 13, 2018, 03:34:04 AM
I wonder what coins went 100x since the OP asked the question. The truth of the matter is that nobody knows, else everybody would be putting all their money into it.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors that affects the value of bitcoin... on: June 11, 2018, 06:53:51 PM
Hey guys,  i need some suggestions and opinions about this.
The supply and demand are the two main factors why the price of the bitcoin is unstable. The more supply, the lower the price of the bitcoin but the more demand; the higher the price of the bitcoin.

In the simplest term this is it. It's all about supply and demand. And the whales can affect this. But the root of it is supply and demand.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So i got a likely scam KYC form on: June 11, 2018, 01:09:34 AM
wrong section, move your topic to Web Wallets
the "move topic" button is located on bottom left of your page.

I think this has less to do with web wallets and more to do with scams. Just happens to be a scam that try to trick the mark into thinking they are using a web wallet.
20  Other / Serious discussion / Re: 2-Factor Authentication on: June 09, 2018, 10:17:11 PM
What nobody ever really talks about is what happens when you lose your phone. I read that you can transfer it to a new phone, but if you lose it, you can't transfer it. That's really what has me paranoid. I think I might have to invest in a new phone, and keep my current one locked in a safe, and see if I can flash it, for in case something happens to it I can reinstall it to another phone.
