201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should drugs be listed at bitcoin.it? on: April 27, 2011, 02:55:47 PM
Morally, and in principle: of course it should be on the list.
However, if we consider the argument from effect I think it's obvious that for the sake of bitcoin gaining popularity it should be left off the list.

I agree.

Would also be nice if the heat was coming from some miner's GPUs Smiley The carrot ROCKS.
205  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Wikileaks Donation Rally [200 BTC] on: April 26, 2011, 06:30:21 PM
I don't think 200 is a noticeable amount, let's go for 2000. And I pledge 100 BTC for a start.

209  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - a new European exchange on: April 25, 2011, 04:36:56 PM
Hi Mahkul,

Any hint on when we can expect the "deposit mode" feature? In what stage are you getting that arranged?

BioMike

Hopefully within a week or two. For now the transfers will be handled manually (just like bitcoin-central, not sure whether they are automatic on mtgox?). Once this happens we will try and automate the (at least) incoming transfers acknowledgements.
210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - a new European exchange on: April 25, 2011, 04:25:26 PM
IMPORTANT UPDATE:

We have introduced a limit of minimum 10 BTC per transaction (it is no longer possible to put less than 10 BTC on sale). This ensures no trivial international money transfers will occur.

This limit will be lifted once we have switched to "deposit mode" (which means we will operate in a similar manner to mtgox).

Due to this new rule a few offers (smaller than 10 BTC) have been cancelled. This caused the problem mentioned in the previous post (frozen Bitcoins), which I believe I have now rectified. If you find that your offer was cancelled, but your Bitcoins are still frozen please contact me. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we believe the service will be better now.

PM is on the way.
Greetz

Sorted. We are looking into what caused this.
212  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - a new European exchange on: April 25, 2011, 12:59:50 PM
I'm new at BitMarket.eu but seem to have some problems with communication.
I've got the "Welcome to BitMarket.eu!" eMail, and added an offer.
Now the offer is in "Your closed offers" but I received no e-mail.

Any ideas?
Greetz

Hi Loader,

Could you please email or PM me the details of this offer so that I can see what happened? Thanks
213  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What we still don't have on: April 24, 2011, 07:12:00 PM
As I said before, I am always happy to provide soft drinks for BTC: Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta etc.

215  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Want to buy $28 worth of BTC with Paypal on: April 22, 2011, 09:15:02 PM
People will never learn. The issue here is whether to trust you - since you offer Paypal with its chargebacks. Also, a newcomer.

I don't see any way to update my e-mail address on the site. I'd like my transaction mails to go to another address. Is this possible to fix?

You are right, we never thought of that! I will let you know when it's done.

In the meantime, you can send such requests to admin at bitmarket dot eu and I will change this for you.

Great. =)

I did send such a mail about a day ago.

Hm, seems like it didn't come through, We check the mailbox a few times a day. Can you please send me a PM with your email address?

219  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: A 450BTC transaction didn't come through? offline? on: April 21, 2011, 11:40:16 AM
Thanks for replying. Yes, it has 7 confirmations now (I was away). I think my broadband connection died just as I was broadcasting the transaction. All Good now.
220  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / [solved] A 450BTC transaction didn't come through? offline? on: April 21, 2011, 10:14:46 AM
I have just tried sending 450 BTC to my other Bitcoin wallet and got something strange:

http://makul.home.pl/public/img/mahkul450.jpg

Both of Bitcoin clients are connected with at least 8 connections, a few blocks have passed since. The transaction appeared as unconfirmed/offline? even though I sent it while I had like 33 connections.

It did not show up on the other client at all. What happened?

After restarting the bitcoin client now it just says unconfirmed
