1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Name Some Quality Exchanges? on: February 12, 2019, 03:47:40 AM
I only use 2 exchanges right now which are Nauticus and Binance. Coinbase ripped me off last year and Kraken has tons of issues. What do you guys think of Nauticus and Binance? Do you guys think these are good exchanges that have a quality project?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 03, 2019, 01:45:52 AM
Grin is not competing with BTC. It's more privacy focused. It is also a plataform where new ideas are going to be tested , and in future those ideas may be applied to bitcoin.

New projects and ideas are always good, but they are not necessarily competing with older ones. They can coexist and complement each other

What would Grin best compare to? I understand it's meant to have a stable price for transactions which seemed to be Bitcoins original intentions; at least at first. Now it's more store of value-like?

Would you say BEAM is closer to bitcoins model?

and What about Nauticus?

Most people on here know my stance on Nauticus. I think there's a bright future with that company. As far as BEAM and Grin goes, I've only heard of BEAM. I think there may be something there (diamond in the rough), but idk enough about it to make an accurate prediction.

CoinMetro was supposed to be this huge exchange that would revolutionize crypto. They wanted to fix the problems other exchanges like Binance and Coinbase Pro were having. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this project will ever come to fruition. Right now they appear to be stuck in deep water without a paddle! However, competing exchange Nauticus launched and has so far been successful in doing what they set out to do. It's unfortunate that the great "crypto drought" destroyed a lot of these projects that could have been worth something.

CoinMetro - https://coinmetro.com/

I don't think CoinMetro have failed totally in their exchange business, maybe they are waiting for the general crypto market improvement to mint their XCM tokens to be added to the exchange for trading.

it's been almost a year since the project was released, and I see no very significant increase in their projects. maybe a lot of investors when ico has gone and sold now

I agree, it's been too long for them not to release the full product. Also, they are fighting against the overall market trend...which is not looking good atm lol

Coinmetro had good intentions but just failed to keep sentiment up or deliver what they promised. Sad but it happens. Nauticus is still kicking and I hope they continue to do so. I will support them until they make unforgivable mistakes; but so far so good.

I'm glad I avoided the whole CoinMetro project. They seemed like they were on track for success, but you know how that goes with ICO's that never launch.

6  Economy / Securities / Re: Nauticus says they're ready for the securities Market due to AUSTRAC License on: January 26, 2019, 01:18:37 AM

Source:

https://nauticus.exchange/blog/?p=713

Quote "Unlike most competing exchanges, Nauticus has already met the regulatory requirements to enter the security token field. We are already a registered representative of an Australian Financial Services Licensee which enables us to tokenize assets.

But what does it mean to ‘tokenize’ an asset?

One good example is property. Instead of a developer preselling 12 units to 12 buyers ‘off the plan’ to fund an apartment block, the developer may instead choose to create 1200 tokens, each of which represents 1/100th of an apartment and sell them instead. The immutable and unfalsifiable nature of blockchain means investors can have 100% faith in their token’s value.

And it’s not just apartment blocks, everything can be tokenized including shares in a company or commodities like gold and lithium."

Do you think this will help Develope Nauticus into a Securities powerhouse or that this is just another attempt to stand out from the crowd? Doesn't LAtoken do Tokenization of assets as well?
Can this backfire for U.S. citizens by chance?

I'm excited for STO's, but ONLY if they ACTAULLY have tangible products and are NOT like ICO's. As far as Nauticus goes, the exchange has made me money so far, I have no complaints. I'm currently gearing up to buy some more NTS once I get paid. The main issue is if BTC rises, then I expect NTS to move a few legs up as well.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did Bitcoin REALLY Hit The Bottom? Are We There Yet? on: January 25, 2019, 03:58:35 AM
I know a lot of users thought 6K was the bottom for BTC...then it plunged another 50% down to $3200. Right now BTC is looking pretty strong, it had a HUGE spike from the support level. This COULD mean a reversal is imminent  Grin Right now, I've been trying to accumulate as much NTS and BTC as possible. Every time BTC or NTS dumps a little bit on Nauticus, I've been picking some up. I think this bear market could be coming to an end and if it does we might see the next bull market start. Now, this could be a bull trap, but right now a lot of traders are optimistic and appear to exiting short positions and going long, so we will see.

Look At This Bullish Chart Action! - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/NTSBTC

the good news is that, bitcoin is still in the middle of its prime and we didnt even at the bottom at it. We can  say bitcoin is still hanging on to its dear life because once bitcoin reach its bottom, every altcoin in the market will be dragged by it to and nobody wants it of course.

I agree, BTC needs to find support and rebound eventually. I'm not sure what the "bottom" will be tho. It seems like maybe $3200 or $2800 will be the bottom.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did Bitcoin REALLY Hit The Bottom? Are We There Yet? on: January 24, 2019, 04:17:41 AM
You seem to advertise the exchange nauticus.
They create more discussions while plugging that at the end of the thread.

We still don't know if bitcoin hit the bottom, the next bull run is imminent. But we have no idea when it will trigger.

We like Nauticus and want more volume so it can be our one stop shop. Issues?
The issue is you've been plugging it to different threads.

With Bitcoin or Nauticus? Bitcoin is one of the only coins I actually fully trust right now. As for Nauticus, it pumped 300% from its lows and is up 50% from ICO price. That's pretty good for a new coin on the market especially since this market has been trash for bulls all year long. I think both BTC and NTS has value. This is just my opinion, but look at the NTS and BTC charts. BTC has been getting hammered (it could still dip lower), but this may be the bottom. NTS got hammered, then rose and has remained in a strong position for this past week. That's the kind of price movement that I like to see. I haven't been wrong once with any of my posts. This is not financial advice, but my opinions have made me some nice gains lol.

I know I've talked a lot about NTS and Nauticus the past couple of days, but it looks like my TA on NTS was true. NTS has risen 300%+ from its lows, the Nauticus exchange appears to be doing better, and the coin is 70% higher than the ICO price. If you would have done the research and decided to invest around the time I did, then you would be up over 300% within one week. That's pretty good considering we are probably still in a bear market.

https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/NTSBTC

I bought and held It wasn't TA it was knowing the company wasnt trash like the majority of these ICOs that pumped for no reason. Even in a bear we are on our way up. I'll wear a Nauticus shirt around at least once a week if I can retire off this haha.

T.me/nauticusblockchain has been popping lately too.

I'm honestly looking to get a shirt. I seen someone made phone cases with Nauticus on them lmao. Yes, this ICO is the real deal. They are certified through AUSTRAC and require full KYC. This isn't some dumpster that got pumped, this is Gold to Cobalt.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NTS Has Been MOONING...The Rockets Took Off! on: January 18, 2019, 06:36:52 PM
Good find to invest in the bear market, but never heart about this coin and exchange yet.If you already made 70% profits then just cashout your capital and hold the profits alone to take any kind of risk on this coin.

I agree with your assessment completely  Grin I think I'm going to continue to hold the NTS token, but cash a little out, so I mitigate my risk. I think the project has a lot of potential considering the exchange just launched. I want to convert some of my NTS to BTC, but also make sure to hold some since its doing really well atm.

I couldn't understand why Natuticus got a lot of intention. People has just crated so many thread in BTT about NTS and its exchange. Everyday, new exchanges are announcing but really can anyone explain to me why is this exchange so important?

They're going to be tokenizing securities and attempting to acquire the right to do STOs, have fiat onboarding and similiar tokenomics as BNB. Sounds like a winner to me.

I'm curious to see what STO's they decide to bring onto the exchange. I think the next FIAT currency I heard Nauticus was on-boarding was either USD or YEN, at least I hope.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nauticus Exchange on: January 17, 2019, 09:50:42 PM
I've heard about this exchange. She has any feature or it's just a good exchange. Now the most important thing that the exchange was able to win a good reputation as people are beginning to less and less trust exchanges after numerous hacks.

They’re going to be adding a day time user interface. Right now they have a night time one. They plan on being one of the biggest exchanges by featuring as many quality coins as possible. Coinbase and Kraken r both behind in that aspect. Binance was my go to, but now that NTS is available on the Nauticus Exchange, I’ve been buying that over BNB.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nauticus Exchange on: January 17, 2019, 06:09:58 AM
Got some NTS tokens via the airdrop. But I dont get it why people keep on shilling this exchange that much? Cant find anything special about it. Does anyone in here have more infos?

I use the exchange all the time. I think it’s a great up and comer. NTS could be the next BNB. If it did 10% as well as BNB I would call it a massive success. I think it’s on the road to achieving that assuming they take advantage of their situation.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nauticus Exchange on: January 17, 2019, 04:57:17 AM
I have been a large fan of the Nauticus project since the ICO began; it had a rough time with delays during the great big bear of 2018. The project is finally growing it's sealegs and beginning to show results. The token trading has been opened and the price which initially fell 60% is now up to 80% of the ICO's value with strong buying pressure. I am wondering if any of you have heard of NTS or are hodling it as well.

P.S.

Where did you hear of it from?

I've been supporting the project. I own some NTS + I use the exchange. I've been trying to tell people weak hands will always get shaken out of the market. I always keep some FIAT around for when dips occur.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NTS Rose 50% In ONE Day... on: January 17, 2019, 04:02:06 AM
Intro:

I've seen a lot of popular TA analysts talking about the bottom for BTC and alts being in. A lot of die-hard bears have been closing their shorts this week. Low market cap coins have been on the rise and BTC is seeing a slight boost in price from previous lows. NTS is part of the Nauticus ecosystem. It's the exchange coin that emulates BNB. If NTS plays their cards right by supporting STO's, then I think this project has a lot of potential to rise. NTS was down almost 60% from ICO price. In the past day, NTS rose 50%. It's only down 30% from the ICO price; This shows that NTS is pretty resilient.

Advantages Of NTS

- Oversold (bounty dumpers)
- Resilient price despite bounty participants dumping
- Utility token
- Nauticus currently offering AUD transfers/deposits. They're aiming on offering services to 15 other FIAT currencies including YEN & USD
- Released at the bottom of the bear market

Nauticus Exchange:

The Nauticus exchange currently features AUD deposits/transfers. They plan on expanding their transfers to include 16 FIAT currencies in total (USD, YEN, AUD, EUR, ect). I think this exchange has the ability to capture some of the market share from other failed exchanges (Cryptopia...). If this is actually the bottom of the bear market, then I think this exchange has the ability to capitalize on the current market sentiment & excel.

Nauticus Exchange - https://nauticus.exchange/

Do your own research!I've made my stance clear on projects like Nauticus, Tron, ETH, FTMDf, ect. These are my opinions from research that I've done. This is NOT financial advice

I’m with you on exchange tokens. I also think the bottom for btc is around 3k. I’m not going to chase pennies trying to find the bottom when I can just accumulate btc + alts now.

I would assume BTC is only going to 3200. Maybe a double bottom is due, but I don't see BTC going past 3200. I could be wrong tho :L
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NTS Rose 50% In ONE Day... on: January 17, 2019, 01:59:23 AM
hmm i will do some research on this Smiley im looking for some undervalued coins..
is it on binance?

I don't believe so, I think they plan on adding STO's in the future. They haven't done an "official" launch yet. The token is out and the exchange is active and usable, but not all of the features are active yet. I think the price will most likely increase in the near term assuming that the exchange adds quality STO's and continues to improve features + attract more customers.

Although market can slip one step further before final reversal but even now i think it is good to buy and accumulate the good ones especially the big guns like btc, eth, neo and eos etc as sooner or later we are going to see bulls back.

I agree, I think we are closing in on the bottom and that's assuming we haven't already reached the bottom lol
