I just read the manual on github to run a masternode. Is it correct that you have to send 200k coins to the wallet on the masternode server and not keep them locked in the local wallet ? I run a couple of other masternodes and they just lock the coins in the local wallet/generate a masternode privatekey for the server.
This is my issue as well, I'm still trying to run a cold/hot setup with separate wallets: one on the server or VPS and the control wallet on my desktop. I'll give it a few more days and if it still doesn't work, I'm going to try something on my home server (where I retain full control of the VM / VPS) and see if that works. For all of those running masternodes and sending the coins to the wallet address that is on the VPS itself, I advice you to export the private key and back it up. If the VPS ever goes down for any reason, if you forget to pay the bill, if the provider does not keep backups, and the instance is wiped or destroyed, there goes your coins. I look forward to your solution.... Things would be way easyer if there would be dynamic ip support in masternode servers. I'm holding out to start a couple of masternodes, i like my guncoins to much to just send them in the cloud.......

I have lots of transactions in my wallet from staking, it makes my wallet slow and unresponsive. Is there a way to consolidate those transactions into one amount or do i have to create a new wallet and transfer the funds ?

Belgian Franks ? When will we de-valuate ? After the 1982 devaluation it became one of Europe strongest currencies, linked to the German mark in 1990.

Recommended additions in your batfiles using zjazz miner. Otherwise you won't be able to mine with your GPU: (for 4gb GPU) ---cuckoo-intensity 16 (for 6gb GPU) -g 2 --cuckoo-intensity 16 (for 8gb GPU) -g 2 --cuckoo-intensity 22 (for 11gb GPU) -g 2 --cuckoo-intensity 30 Right now it's Nvidia GTX cards only! Your invitecode could be: sonnyblack https://wallet.merit.me/?invite=sonnyblackPlease contact me on merit discord @alexis#6139 or merit telegram @alexiscrypto to accept your request Mining with a single gtx 1070 8gb, i find little difference between -g 2 --cuckoo-intensity 16 and -g 2 --cuckoo-intensity 22. Currenly using -g 2 --cuckoo-intensity 18 that allocates 2 x 2.63mb and gives me around 0.35 cycles with standard clocks. I also get less gain with overclocking since edgebits has gone up. need an invite ? https://wallet.merit.me/?invite=elchupanibre

Anybody an idea whats happening with Suprnova? Message that the pools closes 1/1/2019 is still there but it seems everybody is still happily mining xcn.

Suprnova's XCN (Cryptonite) Pool // Algo: m7 // LIVE ! stratum+tcp://xcn.suprnova.cc:8008 This pool closes at 1/1/2019 - please stop mining and withdraw your coins ! we need new pool. Unfortunately we don't have the pool software, otherwise we would have opened it long ago. There's a bounty for that. Also you can ask suprnova to release his software (if he closes, then he doesn't need it any longer, and there is no competition problem). Would be nice if we had p2pool software, i'm always prepared to host a decent server.

Hi All,
does anybody knows why my node keeps dying? It starts MN as active but active counter does not run. Then after few hours it dies and goes missing. No crash no error nothing.... just -1
So far I tried:
- Different HW - Desktop PC Linux Ubuntu 16/18 version Desktop PC - Windows 10 / Windows Server 2016 (all licensed) Laptop and Dell R420 server. - With and without firewall enabled - Different IP locations - Behind the router and ass wide open straight to the internet (NIC to ISP) - ISP confirmed not blocking anything on port 27577
Noting helped. Mobay tried and suggest move to VPS....
So Q's rises
MN is GEOLOCKED? VPS only? Locked to specific VPS supplier?
I've spend two weeks now fighting with this... my humor is starting to end Sad If mn is bugged why there's no information available main site then? I've searched Telegram channel and found that 17 ppl including me had this problem out of 330 nodes it's 5% that's a huge error rate for software with assets management.
How we can debug this further? Suggestions?
PS. ain't moving to VPS i'm so anal tight about my data stored somewhere else....
Thank you all in advance! I just thought I would post a reply here, for anyone not on the discord. To run a node, you need to use a VPS, just like 99% of the nodes out there, you can't just host it locally as it doesn't work. Mobay, the coder who worked on the wallet has mentioned this to you ThugB33 but you don't want to, which means it doesn't look like you will be able to run a node. I'm sorry if this is not to your liking but that's how it is. I also wanted to clarify, you mention the 5% error rate.... well if you used the search function properly, you would notice every single other user who had this issue almost immediately was told the solution, which was to run the node from the command line and it runs just fine. so in truth, the "error rate" you calculated is vastly incorrect, its not 17/330, its 1/420 which equates to roughly 0.25% which isn't all that bad for such a small sample size.... Technically, its 0% as just because you don't want to take the steps to resolve your issue doesn't mean its an error at all, bug reports are greatly appreciated, but if its not a bug, they can't "fix" it. Technically there is NO problem with running a node from your home, but you need a FIXED ip. Also none of your "data" is stored on a vps, it has a copy of the blockchain, verifies transactions and sends the income to your local wallet.

A couple of questions about masternodes.
Can i keep my wallet on my own computer and do i need to leave it open ?
I ask this beacause when i read the masternode setup guide i need to generate the masternode key, the ip adress will be a local one or my dhcp WAN ip. In the setup guide they use a public ip, so i assume their wallet is on a server with fixed ip.
Thanks
