BTC breakout short term atm... Time to share... MY ULTIMATE BEARISH CASE: MY ULTIMATE BULLISH CASE:
currently, the bears are winning, but it is still possible to return to the bullish case and stay between those 2 trendlines edit: I call that we will never touch 275 USD again and probably will never dip below 300 USDYou have the right to ridicule me if this doesn't happen I don't know man...and they said we would never see 400s again....

crap, sold and took my money off exchange at 330 before 270 dip....
i'm an idiot trader--now i'm sending fiat back for a loss.
anyone think this might be a bull trap so I don't feel so foolish...?
LMAO! we all make bad moves from time to time but this is epic! hehe....i actually don't know why i moved off exchange....i should have just kept on and then bought at 300...in fact that was the plan...but then for some uknown reason i moved off exchange... wow. i think i am now in th pantheon of horrible traders...not that i am even a trader, but i thought getting out at 330 was wise, which it was, but i inexplicably moved fiat off exchange...

Well it was an interesting ride--learned a lot, and hopefully spared from future speculations that would have gone bad.
Will still have my eye on BTC, but full fiat now.
--2011, the year I learned about BTC --2014, the year I bought and mined BTC, but obsessed about it, lost money, etc.
Perspective is a funny thing.
"Perspective is a funny thing" and if you give it a few more years....(you do not have to obsess about it) and then the perspective may be totally different again. --2016 Things got interesting. --2017 xx --2022 HOLY shit! (x,y,z good bad ) etc How did you lose money if you do not mind me asking? through mining equipment/ not hitting ROI or are you talking unrealised as of yet loss? did you hold from 2011? are you sitting on profit now? or do you more mean you think --2015 RIP? It's OK. All in all lost between 7-9k between buying on the downtrend and buying mining equipment with BTC and cash. This loss is realized. I did not buy in 2011--was thinking about investing around 2k then, but of course it seemed very risky and ethereal at the time to me... Like I said, perspective is a funny thing. I make twice as much, however, as I did in 2011 through a couple promotions, so there's solace in that. I'm not necessarily out of BTC, but I just don't see up from here, and I'd rather cut loss/feel safer on the sideline than hold ATM. There seems to be tremendous pressure from all sides for the near term with respect to selling.

Is it weird that I'm getting really nervous?
no. Ah ok, good. I've been feeling pretty weird to be honest-- not knowing whether to buy or divest completely... Haha, that is exactly how I feel!!! I tend to belive that price will still decline, but to afraid to sell while at the same timee being to afraight to buy more I'm divested. I don't see up from here, but maybe I'm totally wrong. Also don't want to hold through this kind of thing. 340 was my limit, and there's no rebound. Will be on the lookout with respect to price though obviously over the next while.

Ok this movement made me put some foat deposit requests into my exchange.
I wavered for a bit, but I think this in an opportunity.

There was a tiny dead cat bounce. Now we're heading down to sub 450.
Sell now or loose everything bagholders. Edit: Oops, I forgot to mention "final capitulation". You are fallling! LOL. Better get your sarcasm meter checked. ....this was funny

bitcoin has falling 60% since start of 2014. this already is worst case scenario!
WE ARE ALREADY LIVING IT.
Now it only gets worst and worst. Drop your false hope!
Haha, I love this guy...

Smart money understands that this will create more sell pressure, hence the price is dropping already. Don't be a maroon and a bag holder, cut your loose.
hmm that's actually a good point. No, it's not. It increases usability and therefore also value. The flaw in the above is the implicit assumption that 1. only people that already own Bitcoins will spend them and 2. They won't replace them. Both 1 and 2 are incorrect. Ok, but does usability sine qua non increase value? I'm not so sure. I agree though I was overseeing the other points though.

Don't be a racist by telling people they are a maroon, please learn the meaning of the English language. You are looking like a moron. crap, I didn't even realize the use he intended on this. yeah man, -1 on the racist remark, but I still find the argument that this may put sell pressure on the back-end interesting.

If anyone calls for a pump, I can almost guarantee it won't happen.
We are not necessarily tied to the same cycles as before. 'Pumps' may not even ever occur again. We may just see steady, slow growth, or steady, slow decline (followed by steady, slow growth IMHO).
I am starting to think that we will not see spikes in price of any substance at all, just an overall slow growth upward for years to come with nominal volatility (relative to previous volatility), no greater that -/+ 20%.
We may go two years at this level. That's what I'm thinking.

lucky Canadians really hoping they go worldwide on BTC payments soon.
Can you suggest a laptop?

Want to spend <600; anyone have an idea on what the best bang for my Buck would be?
|
|
|
Fuck. No.
September 2015? maybe
This is what I was thinking... We are in for a LONG LONG period of $300-600.. a long period. Yeah, though I think we will see into the 700s and 800s. Bitcoin is definitely NOT slowly dying. It's INCREDIBLY resilient.

I think it's exciting and holds a lot of promise, but a revolution in the way people think about money and a paradigmatic shift and overhaul of the most entrenched institution of the world will take some time to dovetail into expectations and the technological promise.
