21  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin's Stock to flow model seems accurate ! on: August 07, 2020, 06:43:37 PM
Hi guys

Some of you have heard of the stock-to-flow model for Bitcoin , if not , you're in for a treat. I made a video discussing it here : https://youtu.be/xa2MtJI0wz4

Basically, this measures the total supply of a commodity versus the expected incoming supply , and it could indicate the value of the commodity. It was found by some people a few years back that it seems to be tracking the price of Bitcoin fairly well ! Whats your view , does this prove that $100k and later on $1M are feasible ?
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum : Its not too late on: July 26, 2020, 11:42:01 AM
Hi guys

I believe that the recent movement by Ethereum is good , because it shows the strength even though the 2.0 launch was delayed. If you missed out on buying when it was $133 ( in Jan ) its not too late - its still a great investment in my view. Obviously there will be other altcoins that COULD have a much bigger return from now , but also with much higher risk. I made a more detailed video of my thoughts here : https://youtu.be/gencUwUpwrM
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Basics : What are the actual use cases of Bitcoin ? on: June 08, 2020, 05:28:55 AM
As we enter a potential bull market ( especially if the stock market is about to go pop ), many people will start attacking Bitcoin saying that it has no use case. I made a short video explaining the basic use cases today ( with more to come in future of course ) : https://youtu.be/dI9OWNjociE

Apart from the obvious "Store of value" and "digital currency" , I delve deeper into trade , macroeconomics and the petro dollar as well. Basically , I think that Bitcoin will become the global reserve currency. Hope you like it.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Consensus : Distributed - my thoughts on Day 1 on: May 12, 2020, 04:44:13 AM
Hi guys

Consensus Distributed kicked off yesterday , I registered and attended some sessions , and left my thoughts here : https://youtu.be/C-tHuKPKgPY

Some highlights
- ECB governor saying that they are ready for digital currencies, cautioning about "money laundering", but admitting that digital currencies are the future, called a CBDC a "game changer"
- Gavin Wood talking about Polka Dot , criticizing current scaling , saying that Polka Dot could do 100k-1M TPS
- Chris Giancarlo talking about the "digital dollar", discussing whether it could be linked to Bitcoin
- Money Reimagined - a segment where various guests were interviewed , most agreed bullishly that permissionless will win
- A comment that linking FIAT to blockchain may actually EXTEND the life of FIAT
- Joe Lubin saying that ETH 2.0 will launch Q3, ETH 1 is ready for Dapps today but ETH 2.0 will have 1000 fold increase in scale
- A GREAT interview with Safedien Amous ( author of the BITCOIN Standard ) , talking about central bank money printing , why deflationary Bitcoin will win , I play a short clip of the interview in my video at 11:45
- and much more

Overall many people are still very Bullish on Bitcoin post halving
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How much crypto do you need ? on: May 02, 2020, 06:28:47 AM
Hey guys. I made a short video discussing the topic of how much Bitcoin / Crypto do you really need ?

https://youtu.be/HcSsFMFvq-w

Most people don't plan their acquisition strategy , and that's why we have "weak hands" that sell when they shouldn't sell ( and regret it later ). Basically, I feel that its very important to have a target price range , a target investment amount , and then work towards that slowly to get to your goal. In the video I show you one way of possibly doing this.

Hi guys

This was a talk done recently at Blockchain Africa : https://youtu.be/33_Oo4h80eE

It covers :
- Use cases of blockchain in Trade Finance
- Some lesser known blockchain success stories ( like the Starbucks project )
- How private chains will integrate with public chains ( and why )
- Using AI with Blockchain

Enjoy !
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 24, 2020, 06:04:31 AM
if it's about the coronavirus, it seems like the virus not only curses bitcoin, but almost all types of investments have a decreased percentage because of the virus. However, if the price of bitcoin rises again after this, do you want to say that bitcoin breaks the curse? yeah, bitcoin is just a popular technology right now, if the price goes down because of something like this, it's natural.

This is bullish - I expect it to continue like this for a while - stocks in trouble and crypto stabilizing and even growing
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 23, 2020, 04:26:10 PM

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG

The ECONOMIC CRISIS will be far worse than the Corona Virus, and the economic crisis will last for MANY YEARS.  You poor ignorant people, you have no idea what is coming.

BitCoin grew up in a bubble economy, where almost every asset was going up in price.  Those days are OVER, and BitCions price crash in response to this economic crisis would worry any rational investor.

Hard Facts

Firstly, it sounds like you're trying to say that we will move away from assets and cash will be king - but how can cash be king when they print like mad ? They want to have a fixed value of the US dollar but keep printing ( ie. give banks "free wealth" ). If cash is king it may be another currency thats king, where that country is more fiscally responsible, not USD.

Secondly, I agree that all assets cannot boom anymore like the last 10 years - Stocks are going to be more of a gamble than ever. If stocks do recover strongly even after this Corona crises has decimated industries like airlines   - then somethings wrong. Then there will probably be another big crash within a few years.

Bitcoin has something unique to offer the macroeconomic world - an independent medium of trust between parties ( in this case countries - unless Satoshi is revealed and he has an agenda ). The only thing that can stop Bitcoin is if Satoshi is revealed and people feel he has bias or agenda, or he has the ability still to shut everything down.

29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 14, 2020, 09:22:50 PM
Has the Corona virus doomed Bitcoin ?

Nope - don't be ridiculous.......they want you to think this.

Firstly, we got into Bitcoin because of financial freedom - money and value that nobody controls - that will never be "doomed" ( but they'll always try to kill it ).
Secondly , I explain in the video below why after every crash investors first go for liquidity , and then into safe havens - we're only a week into this market crash , you will see the safe havens over the next few months.
Thirdly, blockchain has already entrenched itself with many use cases that we cannot ( and won't ) go back on.

Don't make a mistake selling guys - they want you to do this. HODL.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: February 27, 2020, 07:08:24 PM
OK sorry about the poor audio. In the video I discuss an article that I stumbled across which talks about the current amount of money locked in DeFI. Every day more and more ETH is locked in being used as Collateral for loans ( securing loans is one of the big use cases for DeFi ). This could grow rapidly as people around the world figure out that they can borrow in a global currency using the Ethereum network  which was not possible for them previously.

Currently you need to lock in about 150% ETH collateral for a loan - ie. if you borrow $100 you need to put up $150 of ETH as collateral. Ethereum’s market capitalization today is $25 billion. Under today’s conditions, the network would allow the borrowing of $16.5 billion USD if every single ETH was used to collateralize loans, but only under 2% of the total ETH circulating is locked in currently.

Long story short ( and you should read the article ) , but If total supply of ETH never exceeds 120 million , and 10% ( 12 million ETH ) is used as Defi to support a derivatives market of , say $60 billion , then each ETH coin would be worth $5k.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: February 27, 2020, 04:51:58 AM
What do you guys think ? I discuss some reasons why it might here : https://youtu.be/8Rg-CM2s7Q0
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: February 18, 2020, 06:54:51 PM
Now is the time for the Ethereum to enter as it looks like a short-term bullishness of this asset. Also, Bitcoin has gained a short move but Ethereum is the next door for the 2020.

I posted a follow up to the original showing how you can simply ride the ETH/BTC ratio to get more BTC , or keep some ETH if you prefer. Either way its a good buy right now.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE CEO goes on CNN , attacks Bitcoin on: February 18, 2020, 05:06:09 AM
I certainly appreciate you posting the link to the video and your commentary in it, but that audio of the interview sucks--it's so bad that it's hard to understand (or perhaps I'm going deaf).
Sorry about that , I posted a link to the full CNN interview in the "description" section of my video ( much better audio )
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / RIPPLE CEO goes on CNN , attacks Bitcoin on: February 17, 2020, 07:45:01 PM
They give this guy 21 mins of airtime, and he basically says that China "controls" the Bitcoin blockchain. Some other gems in there too.

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 13, 2020, 06:08:48 PM
IF it gets to $10 I'm happy , but I will dump at that price becuase I've lost my interest in XRP
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins out of top 50 will reach ATH again with next bull run??? on: February 13, 2020, 04:43:49 PM
ETH and ADA , maybe NEO

Correct on both points
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Planning your Crypto Endgame on: February 08, 2020, 09:18:06 AM
Hi guys

Many people enter the space and get REKT , because they buy a coin at a HIGH , sell at a LOW , are unsure of how to split their investments, and are not aware that DCA is a good strategy. I think its all because people rush in without planning - a simple plan can help overcome these things.

I made this video which shares some tips from my side , let me know what you think : https://youtu.be/00tiOaI-LVg

Thanks
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days? on: February 08, 2020, 09:15:35 AM
1) ETH ( enough has been said about this )
2) ETC - perhaps will gain traction when ETH moves to POS ? Nothing happening at the moment though
3) Cardano - covered here : https://youtu.be/W8B9rYSAckY
4) NEO
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 08, 2020, 08:34:04 AM
You need to plan your end state - and stick to it. If you don't you'll sell at the wrong time. Divide up your investment between select coins only.

Watch this : https://youtu.be/00tiOaI-LVg

I'm going to create a new thread and share this video there as well.
