41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Central Bank Says It Hasn’t Banned Crypto on: January 26, 2020, 10:17:09 AM

India was an interesting place with a growing economy but the only negative is the ruling government who does not have any idea about innovation or technology as they are too much focused on religious polarization as they are thinking of getting the vote bank of religious fundamentalist. The government banned 500 and 1000 INR bank notes without any prior warning and it was a real shit show during that period as they did not have sufficient newly printed notes.

You cannot make a statement like that without talking about how the country has suffered tremendous terrorism, which is the reason that people there have turned to nationalism. And the money ban was because its neighbour was essentially printing fake notes to try to destroy the Indian economy - lets leave politics out of the bitcoin forum in any case. If India with its large population adopts Bitcoin in a big way this will be massive for BTC.

Damn, it seems it was, good call op. I was waiting too long to get in, i just hope it retraces decent amount. Not going to fomo in anything at this point.

Still at 4.2c , if it goes up to $1.20 will be an excellent buy.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does the ETH/BTC ratio present a trading opportunity ? on: January 20, 2020, 05:19:22 PM
And if the odds go down? Doesn't that mean you'd lose the profit you could've earned with directly investing on BTC? Also, its not like BTC would wait for the ratio with ETH before going down. Still, up to you. It's still unclear whats going to happen with BTC during the halving season after all.

Yes , absolutely , then you lose , thats why I say in the video if you are investing $100 then invest most into BTC and the opportunity is to invest some of that into ETH to potentially gain this benefit if it goes up. Watch my calculation at the 9 min mark

Guys , I'm NOT saying sell BTC to buy ETH , that is risky ( given what we expect from BTC over the next 12-24 months , and the unknowns around ETH ).

What I'm saying in the video is that - should you want to buy more BTC now ( as we're still in the accumulation phase ) , it might be a good idea to invest some funds into ETH , and when the ratio climbs , you swop for BTC , this way you get more BTC than if you invested directly into BTC.

Yes, but there may be gains based on the ETH 2.0 launch - watch the video and let me know your thoughts
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Does the ETH/BTC ratio present a trading opportunity ? on: January 19, 2020, 08:10:04 PM
Whatever your views on Ethereum, the fact is that the value of ETH to BTC is still very low ( even compared to historical performance ). Does this present a trading opportunity to perhaps buy more Bitcoin for your dollar ? ( By buying ETH and when the ratio goes up trade it for Bitcoin ? ) - There is some insight on this here : https://youtu.be/hY2m0HtAw7g
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is Cardano a steal at current prices ? on: January 12, 2020, 06:28:53 PM
Cardano seems to be an ambitious project , and I know that it isn't really live yet , but its currently at about 3.5c ( and it did reach about $1.20 at the high ). So what do you guys think ?

I dont understand your hate towards bitcoin. You must have made huge losses in trades but that the part and parcel of trading crypto.

Agree , just look at how XRP is capitulating. At least BTC has strong fundamentals , if you invested in that you would have no way back
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 17, 2019, 04:51:37 AM
Well , I actually made a video just yesterday talking about the ETH-BTC wars which are heating up. Watch it here : https://youtu.be/EoqLrgyaHPI

While I'm also an ETH fan , I mention that there's no need for this fanboy-ism right now. I also provide my argument as to why BTC is still highly relevant in spite of not having the "smart contracts".
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: November 26, 2019, 06:12:58 PM
Yes, I know that there are many coins , and everyone has a favourite. But with the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade close, the move to Proof of Stake and the performance improvements promised , is now the time to get seriously into Ethereum ? I discuss this in the following video , as well as the opportunity it provides :

https://youtu.be/O8gTpGu9D_c

By the way , if you forward to 13:15 I also share my equation for getting Bitcoin at a lower price
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Do economic indicators favour Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2019, 07:32:20 PM
In recent months , we've seen :

1) Yield curve flip
2) Trade Wars
3) Quantitative easing ( more money printing )
4) Experts talk up gold

What does this all mean for Bitcoin ?

I discuss here : https://youtu.be/UPyo0n51qJA

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: August 29, 2019, 04:30:36 PM
Hmmm.... not sure if you guys watched the video , but my point was that a globally trusted store of value is a lot more important to global economics than a single currency.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Has Bitcoin already won ? on: August 29, 2019, 01:48:51 PM

Bitcoin is pretty much already considered Gold 2.0. Is that enough ? Does it still need to become a currency from here on ? Or is it the new "Gold Standard" that other currencies will be measured by ?
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will some Altcoins not last past the next high ? on: August 04, 2019, 06:21:13 PM
Lets be honest , there are so many Altcoins only a few will survive. The difficult part is figuring out which ones. Even if a coin doesn't survive , you may still be able to trade it profitably until the next high. However , which are the safest bets to HODL ?

I made a video to discuss :https://youtu.be/7LWQcqP5ASQ
