Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token holders rewards

The entire staking and inflation of crypto is entirely too dependent on the invested community. People slammed XLM for inflation but love TRX staking. I ultimately want to see a product be continuously developed and improved with real world use case in order to invest. I truly believe DeFi products, though offering interest on holdings which may seem conventional, they actually promote hodling and also maintain current price action through this which may or may not facilitate additional time/funds for dev team to continue working. Just my two bits.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / General thoughts on Nexo?
|
on: January 31, 2020, 08:50:49 AM

I know Reddit is a common forum, but I would like to see the general unbiased opinion (or biased if you have a bag) for NEXO on this forum. Very simple userface and revamp of tokenomics coming up next week coupled with unknown dividends makes for an exciting DeFi product. However, I know there are many others but please just drop a line or two on Nexo only so no shill wars begin. Thanks

Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC

As the rich get richer, I believe it will be inevitable that they wish to hold at least 1 BTC (preferably in the form of Cas coins). Regardless of transaction speeds, mining power, etc, BTC will forever be the first and most sought after. Also, once the CSW fiasco proves to truly be a fiasco then we will know that >5% of the BTC supply will be inaccessible forever. Lots of psychological benefits for BTC in short and long term aside from the halvening IMO.

Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] ANACS Yellow Slab 2011 Brass S1 "error" or S2 Graded MS68 or Above

As the title states, I am looking for ANACS yellow slab of either the 2011 S1 "error" or the S2, graded MS68 or higher. Not interested in any other coins or any lower grades. Shoot me a PM with pictures (written name included to help authenticate) and asking price. There is that one eBay listing at $101k (LOL) but the guy claims to have a 68 ANACS yellow S2 so could reach out and see if he is somewhat less mental through PM good luck!

I'd play the raffle but what happens if you don't sell all the tickets?
Normally what other people have done in the past is they do “raffleceptions”. Basically a raffle to win some tickets for the main raffle and runner ups get an entry for the next raffleception. It gets to be a pain in the ass though if that’s what you are asking lol Here is my opinion: Raffle One Item at a Time- Do one Item at a time - Ticket will be cheaper and more people will be able to participate because most people cannot effort larger set. - You will get your value out quickly - Raffle is for fun more than value vs auction is for serious business. YOU decide. Lets Rock N RollEhh I think at this point I’m convinced if I was doing a raffle I will be keeping them as a set. I will split if I’m doing an auction and incentivize people to win the whole thing because I think it would be interesting to see a real valuation on each coin (I’ve never seen a set be split). I’ll make a decision sometime soon, by the end of tomorrow at the latest. More interested in this decision than Kawhi and KD’s offseason decisions combined

Bump as now looking for 0.1 BTC, I think I stalked and saw monkeynuts had some 0.1 coins. Anyone else? I did send you a PM but you never replied. So I guess this buyer is not serious. Hey Anduck! Sorry if my no response offended you, I took your DM as only respond if interested. Since I had just worked a deal out with Bavi and was no longer looking for 0.5 coins, I didn’t respond. No hard feelings, promise I’m legit as Comit mentioned Ah, alright. Your no response did not offend me, but signaled to me that you may not be a serious buyer, that is all. Looks like you are a serious buyer. Awesome! I am sure we will deal at some point in the future so I am glad no hard feelings Also, no longer in search of 0.1 coin as deal is in place with MJ. Thanks again for all interest everyone!

Would just like to add to anonymousminer’s original comment as I just purchased a 2013 MS65 for 1.1 and a 2011 S2 MS67 ICG for 1.185 (originally owned by coblee) within the past 2 weeks. These were separate deals that I negotiated and anonymousminer was not involved with at any point so completely unbiased best of luck on sale but unfortunately (for sellers) anonymousminer is spot on.
