Or maybe these other users on forum are just sharing their honest and fair unbiased opinion? I have a feeling you're the type that if there were still no bids and I lowered the starting bid to 0.13 you'd be ecstatic and have no problem, but if I raised the starting bid to 0.16 you'd have a fit.

If you would have made me the same identical offer via PM with no bids on the auction, I would have accepted it as well. Nothing to do here with preferential treatment. The fact is you PM'd and offered me 0.015 LOWER than the starting bid and someone else PM'd me and offered me 0.015 ABOVE the starting bid, so I don't really see how you feel cheated here.

Stop using some paranoid excuse that people are out to get you on auctions so you wait until last minute to bid as this is simply not the case, however if you continue to make these type of assumptions on a public forum then it will probably start to happen Smiley

This is an interesting post, especially after your last PM to me was asking if I would sell the coin for 0.13 if I did not receive any bids to which I responded no and did not hear back from you. That doesn't really sound like you were going to bid if there were no other bidders. As others have commented, an auction with no bids can be ended at anytime as is the case on any auction site as well. I would never cancel an auction with bids on it. In the future, I would suggest bidding on an item you're satisfied with the starting bid rather than trying to buy it for a lower price via PM Smiley

Thank you to everyone who has commented on this as well Smiley I would merit you all but I only have 2 sMerit so I have sent to the 2 non-legendary members  Grin

Oh and please lock this topic as this is not necessary, I would be glad to discuss with you by PM further if you feel the need. Thanks.

Can we bid in viacoin?

Unfortunately, I would rather own bitconnect than VIA. However, just for you wheelz, if you win I will make a legendary one time exception and accept payment in Stellar Lumens, the future of crypto  Smiley

More than willing to confirm I have the funds available to  purchase in the case of a win to you, minerjones or both. I am new here so I am not going to send .75 Bitcoin to you and trust you’ll return it if I lose, I don’t know you either.

Right, of course, that makes sense. You shouldn't have to trust me.

minerjones is acting as escrow on this auction. He has an incredible reputation here, and has been the handler for several auctions for me so far. If you want to bid make a 0.25 BTC deposit with him, then you can bid away.

This work for everyone? All I really care about is getting paid, which should be imminently doable with BTC. Didn't anticipate this might get complicated.

Happy bidding, all.

Welcome to the forum Interestedbuyer! OP is 100% right here that deposit made to MJ is the most fair and commonly used practice in this case should you wish to continue bidding!

Oh and Happy Birthday Austin!  Grin

That explains it. Again, thank you and sorry to waste your time. Helped me out though.

Not a waste of our time, always glad to help fellow collectors out  Smiley
174  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Early Funded Lealanas on: June 17, 2020, 12:33:22 AM
I used walletexplorer.com.  Makes me feel better looking at your link. Id rather have 0.1 bitcoin than 0.085. Why is wallet explorer different?

I am not quite sure as I have not used walletexplorer so another user may be able to chime in here. Are you possibly looking at a different address on the site? definitely much better to have 0.1 than 0.0085  Grin
175  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Early Funded Lealanas on: June 17, 2020, 12:24:03 AM
I have an interesting Lealana 0.1 BTC brass coin. It was funded on 6/27/12 and only funded with 0.0085 BTC. Anybody have an earlier funded Lealana or one that was underfunded?  First Bits are: 185fFdTX.

Any info would be appreciated.

Where are you getting the information for 0.0085? I pulled the first bits on smartbit and it shows the following address has 0.1 BTC funded in July 2017:

Can we agree to use an escrow service?

Hey crypto333, I understand you are new here, however minerjones who is running the auction is the most trusted escrow on this site. Unless you just want to pay him extra sats for free, there is absolutely no need for an escrow as you'd only be using someone less trusted than minerjones lol.
