1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Execoin: | First Open-Source Stealth Wallet Released! | Fast | ASIC-proof on: October 03, 2014, 02:36:24 AM
How long does pool (dot) execoin (dot) net usually take for a payout?

I switched to solo mining, as I'm about 10% of the execoin network so kinda upset.

At 5% solo mining is reasonable decision.

I have the same experience as you when it comes to the pool. No payments and have emailed pool@execoin.net about this problem. I started mining there last week. No automatic payments and cash out does not work either. Someone who can provide another effective execoin pool?

I think, it's a security issue. Coin stay low, so admin pool activity stays low. Admin need to confirm all payouts manualy... It's just therory Smiley. BTW, when pool admins switch pay off, they know when to put buy orders on market... Smiley.

I would suggest you all to stop mining immediately. As there is no reaction from admins or active mining members we can consider the pool dead.
I stopped mining exe and switched back to a reasonable and trustworthy altcoin like doge or vtc.
Less coins per day but way more trustworthiness and actual PAYOUTS, regularly!
Not so bad idea, if you quit, someone else can mine more easily.

BTW, Ive switched mining for monero & vert, selling them & buying exe. It's more profitable, for long term. Emission of coin decrease 2,5% / week. Practicalyy we don't have inflation. In period of month, coin gain 25% of value / satoshi, . Cryptsy market was incorrect, no deposits was there. Poloniex show the truth. next 3 months, will show the future of this coin.

Payouts got stuck on pool.execoin.net because of a pool's payment cronjob task fault due to pending large payout of 114770.17211484 EXE to one of the users (paid full amount manually in chunks).
Now everything is fixed and all pending payouts are done.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

electrum wallet would'nt sync, do you have the same problem ?

mine not connected to electrum server

I haven't heard a word from the dev if this will ever get fixed Sad felt scammed into transferring all of my coins into a wallet they know wouldn't work after fork.

You can export your private keys using the 'dumpprivkeys' command:
$ ./electrum dumpprivkeys
And import them into regular Electrum-Qt thereafter.

Thanks I was able to run dumpprivkeys() from console and got the keys.

Can you tell me where I can download Electrum-Qt?  I downloaded Electrum-EXE 1.9.8.4 but it not connecting to the servers.

And When I go to Wallet->Private Keys->Import it gives me this warning

Imported keys are not recoverable from seed. If you ever need to restore your wallet from its seed, these keys will be lost.

Are you sure you understand what you are doing?

Clearly i don't Sad so please advise if that is what I should be doing?

Correction:
>And import them into regular Electrum-Qt thereafter.
And import them into regular Execoin-Qt thereafter. (not Electrum)

Exelite lightweight Execoin wallet has been updated (to version 0.3.11.9)

But WHY qt-wallet loose sync frequently.

Just import one priv key to wallet and soon it show just ok. After fifteen minutes I look agen and think I send coins to other address. What hell... wallet is out of sync.
348292 and now waiting estimated block number 363763. (Edit: just now 5.50AM GMT)

With different times, different numbers it loose sync. Sometimes restrat help shortly, sometimes it soon return this kind of state when it get more connections.
Now there is one connection and situation is "out of sync" and this totally wrong block count what it is waiting. Where from it get this wrong data?

Agen day what I can not move my coins due to this hassle with sync.

Two days ago I send over 10k EXE and it fails. Wallet tell balance zero after send and block chan Explorer tell coins sit still in  addres and have not moved. After hours waiting and in this time walllet was also later sunc, I stop waiting. (transfer status in wallet was just ?).

I delete wallet dat (name it agen) and start new. Agen it get sync, then Private key in and it show agen balance. I send agen it to this other address. wallet then zero balance, this ok, and show transfer status ?. Agen wait long time, restart wallet two times. Some times it sync. But coins did not go to other address where I send these.
Agen wallet dat rename and start new. Import priv, agen it show balance ok. This time wallet stau sync and I send coins and this time it success.

What are these sync drop outs with wrong block numbers from some node?

If this can not solve it destroy this coin. What there so difficult to keep nodes in sync so that there is not agen and agen this wrong fork on the air. Who is running this wrong fork and why?

Because there are still nodes on wrong fork. Correct block now is 348314.
In order to get rid of wrong nodes you could add the following to execoin.conf https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=491058.msg8566412#msg8566412

Wallet sync issues solved (some nodes went down because of a problem in datacenter). .

Wallet sync issue is NOT solved.

Still frequently it get some wrong block count from somewhere.
Wallet tell  somettimes out of sync and is waiting some "futuere" blocks. But current block is same what is block Explorer.

It have happend so many times that this is perhaaps some kind of attack...  please shoot down these assholes or we can wait infinite to get example cryptsy back.

We do not need more and more C class exchanges but we need these some  A  class exchanges work. Two good is better than handfull bullshit.  They can not open depsit wallets agen if wallet is every night out of sync.

Just now, here qt-wallet have zero active connections. This happend several times per day. Sometimes it run several hours until it tell out oof sync and waiting some future block number. (example now it waits 361802 what is totally wrong)

Network is working fine and qt wallet works without a glitch. Any update on the electrum one?

Same experience now. Earlier there was some short drop outs in qt-wallet synch due to some nodes perhaps in wrong fork. I have not seen these drop outs anymore.

Also this http://p2poolcoin.com:9173/static/ seems now synched and is in right fork.

It can also see that example "wafflepool" is agen randomly hunting lounges. But due to lack of exchanges they can not exchange they EXEcoins and there is growing amount in unexchanged. It is difficult to estimate what happend after they dump all collected coins to market. And they do because they do not care anything but as fast dump as they can for pay mining reward BTC's to miners. Situation go more and more bad what longer these exchanges do not update they EXEcoin wallets and these "wafflepools" need store more and more.

EDIT:   Oh no. Agen drop out. "No block source available..."  and stuck 337469

Why not devs inform the community on what stage of the current coin, unless it be to investors. another moment and the price breaks the support at 250sat

Soon it looks like "How easy is destroy one coin" case. This do not feel good at all.

Now I understand why Cryptsy, Bitrex, Comcort etc do not start agen full service with EXE. Also if this hassle continue I believe Poloniex need interrupt EXE.
How to continue if wallet do not sync reliable. Now example in my case there is three connections to Network but it stay block 337469 (now 45 hour beghind)

Wallet sync issues solved (some nodes went down because of a problem in datacenter). However, we would like to note that smoothness of network sync depends on number of full independent nodes in the network (and not only on availability of the ones maintained and paid by developers). If somebody in this thread runs Linux with full unfiltered Internet access, please leave execoind up and running and support the network.

Well I deleted block chain n chainstate from my app data roaming, put in my old wallet..and re-synced.. this new fork isnt recognizing my old coins, even from a fresh qt and syncing.. I think i'm done here. If im having this issues, so will exchanges. Some one message me if this ever works again.

execoin-qt -salvagewallet
command run from the command prompt will definitely solve your issue (confirmed with a wallet with exactly the same issue).

Stealth wallet? What does that mean exactly?

I installed this  electrum-exe . org/stealth/ but it always offline.   How do I get it to sync with the network?

Electrum-EXE hasn't been updated after fork yet.

Please try to re-download and resync for the last time, we uploaded the very build we tested on 3 wallets with pre-fork coins.
It should work. In addition, we will try to find a cause and reproduce the issue after looking into a wallet with similar problems reported (we'll get one soon for testing, one more Execoin user reported similar issue).
In our wallets everything is fine, transfers are going between them and the only unconfirmed coins we see are the ones from a wrong fork and it's the way it should be.

This is so frustrating, how is the rescan command not even in the menu?Huh
Because it's a command line option that you use at launch?

Correct.

repair Poloniex.com, http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency

Thanks.

Please ask Poloniex and Cryptsy to reinstate Execoin on their exchanges. We did.

To everybody having issues with Windows wallets:

Please re-download wallets from https://github.com/execoin/execoin/releases, remove old blocks and resync.
We have updated GitHub, our website but haven't updated OP on BitcoinTalk (it pointed to old wallets).
Sorry for that, now everything is fixed!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Execoin: | First Open-Source Stealth Wallet Released! | Fast | ASIC-proof on: August 07, 2014, 10:25:49 PM
Execoin has been restarted from block 307770, bugs are fixed.
Please update your wallets (important!) and resync.
Source code is on the Github, Windows wallets have been updated  (Mac's one will be updated later).

If your wallet shows "Out of Sync" and "0 hour(s) behind" at the same time, as a temporary workaround you can create execoin.conf file, and put the following lines into it:

listen=0
connect=95.85.26.197
connect=107.170.240.30
connect=162.243.136.142
connect=128.199.233.179

connect=188.226.169.188
connect=107.170.227.175
connect=128.199.221.109
connect=107.170.227.176

connect=95.85.39.247
connect=192.99.166.230
connect=192.99.166.231

These are all working nodes above.

We updated ExecoinJ Java library, SPV clients (Exelite, Android and Electrum) will be updated later.
http://explorer.execoin.net shows actual state of the network.
Just as a precaution we removed dynamic block reward code completely and increased number of blocks considered in DGW to 60.
Please help the developers by means of informing exchanges, pools, node OP and merchants about restart.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Just as a precaution we removed dynamic block reward code completely and increased number of blocks considered in DGW to 60.

So, what's is "the main difference", made in last hardfork? Need numbers & info about inflation, please.

For a moment, i'ts sounds, like a tons of chip coins, with multipool "time wrap" fixed

KGW has been replaced by DGW v3. Solves Time Warp Vulnerability in KGW. In addition, DGW is much more responsive (mitigates multipool issues better) and up to 50 times faster (this is important for non-C++ SPV clients in Java and Python language).

Base reward reduced to 20 coins per block. This reward then reduced gradually by 2.5% every week.

ExecoinJ has been updated, would appreciate if you try it and give a feedback!

Cool, thanks for the update. I notice that ExecoinJ does not seem to have the logic implemented to calculate the reward of a block (GetBlockValue). Is that necessary or does the standard getBlockInflation() in ExecoinJ work?

Looks like I will have to wipe my chain and resync. Just re-running put me at 323,000 or so. I'm retesting now!

Thanks again.

Thanks for testing!!!

>I notice that ExecoinJ does not seem to have the logic implemented to calculate the reward of a block (GetBlockValue).
True!
>Is that necessary or does the standard getBlockInflation() in ExecoinJ work?
getBlockInflation() is enough.
Please upgrade with jar rebuilt from ExecoinJ, wipe the chain and resync.
New version of ExecoinJ shouldn't go that far (323,000 or so), difficulty retarget algo (DGW) parameters have been changed and new version shouldn't accept blocks from nodes that haven't been upgraded. New version may stuck on higher block earlier received from old nodes, but it could not advance and download/accept blocks from old nodes. The same applies to any client.

Thanks for the update. A couple of question:

  • Will the restart happen at 307770
  • Will you also be updating the SPV code (ExecoinJ)? I've been experimenting with it and get up to 307769, and then a bunch of non-connecting block errors.

Thanks again!

ExecoinJ has been updated, would appreciate if you try it and give a feedback!
