1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zcash, pirate chain, monero, prcy, which is the best coin for future of privacy? on: January 29, 2024, 08:43:14 PM
As for me I don't know any of those projects except monero, and I can't compare monero with them for now. Zcash = $22.80 and Pirate = $0.234 and Monero = $165.76 and finally PRivaCY = $0.009388 and the above prices you can see that Monero is the highest among all. And Monero is more legit then to the others tokens. I have not even heard the others before.

And from the links I provided all the tokens are seeing more promising ones but we don't really trust shitcoins because they can disappear at anytime. And if you like to invest in any of them then I will advise your to invest in Monero and for now I don't trust the rest.

ROFL, whats price gotta do with anything, monero has been around for over 10 years possibly now that why it has a large netwrok and mature price, but if you have ever gone to a monerotopia conference like I have in NYC, you would know they arrr not what they used to be as they speak about tokens, masternodes, equity scams, and so much stuff I was really really dissapointed....

If you attend pirate talk circle they talkin about stuff like reticulum and lora nodes to not need ISP's for simple communications. but you would not know that cause all you know is monero rite ?
ip-less technology is the future... I rather focus on the technology and not the price, when pirate is more than monero I will come back and questions you...   I wont forget as monero is slowly moving to pirate zk technology.... because we all know they HAVE to,  further more Prcy tech is elite, price is crap due to premine but that done mean the tech is any less... 32 + 1 rings... The original monero people arrr no longer their as far as im concerned..  whomever they arrr
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zcash, pirate chain, monero, prcy, which is the best coin for future of privacy? on: January 29, 2024, 03:46:24 PM
Zcash is bitcoin+CoinJoin, It enhances your privacy, but it does not enhance it to the maximum extent, and you can obtain similar privacy if you use bitcoin+CoinJoin, so whoever wants to enhance your privacy, instead of investing in Zcash, which does not perform well, you can obtain similar privacy from investing in bitcoin and using any service that supports CoinJoin.

So whoever wants to invest, bitcoin + monero is much better.

You're saying that Zero Knowledge Proofs are the same as CoinJoin? It doesn't make any sense. I think you mean DASH is bitcoin+CoinJoin. It was never a real privacy coin, especially when CoinJoin isn't enforced by default. Zcash may have an innovative approach to privacy, but many claim it is already compromised. I'm not surprised about that when there's a company behind the development of ZEC. Companies strictly abide by government regulations. Only community-driven cryptocurrencies are worth it.

I guess that's why no other competitor has been able to outmatch Monero. We need true privacy coins to help fight against government surveillance and censorship. Hopefully, new privacy-oriented projects will arise giving us more options to choose from. As long as privacy and freedom wins, nothing else matters. Smiley

Well said, LISTEN UP!! you noobz. IF IT AINT PRIVATE BY DEFAULT IT AINT A PRIVACY COIN!!!!!!!    PIRATE CHIAN !!!!!!!!   AND MONERO  arrr the only 2 around aside from forks of monero
...and now Pirate is on Qortal,  Pirate in on 2 atomic swap chains... do your research

.... also Qortal is deving reticulum into its core..  because thats a goal for them...  not stupid pictures nfts
with pirate already in it...  I look forward to our future if most you guys can get you head out the defi a55
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIRATE CHAIN](ARRR) A zk-SNARKS only blockchain, secured by dPoW on: January 29, 2024, 05:38:03 AM
You need to enable all coins or tokens that you want to use. Which app do you use? In Desktop the button is called "Add Crypto".

I'm using the Komodo desktop wallet. After searching and interacting with the wallet, I found the coin and added it. The next step is to buy some  Smiley
Waiting on pirate get multi-sig implemented, and a
 Built in DEX...

Wow I am really impressed with this, thank you for your hard work on whomever is building this

your the gem, don't let anyone ever tell you different!!!!!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: January 28, 2024, 05:07:39 PM
Its important to distinguish influencer's from educators as well. If you learn something in the technical way from listening.. if your like me you wanna hear his other stuff, if this is how a teacher of tech makes money.. i will support that as long as i can learn from his experience and/or skills.

But yes, too many podcast leading people astray into crypto bubbles that have no real end of the world utility like monero, reticulum, lora type techs working together as pirates can pave a knew new less tyrannical system for this structure to compete with...  eventually people will see that the grass just might not just be greener on the other side...  but its real grass

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zcash, pirate chain, monero, prcy, which is the best coin for future of privacy? on: January 26, 2024, 01:43:50 PM
I thought we were talking about privacy, coinjoin was lost long ago as its issue is that w/e amount goes in comes out the same amount that why we went to torandocash, coinjoin is not too hard to figure out. Dash, Zcash, Bitcoin arrr absolutely NOT privacy coins because they do not have Privacy by DEFAULT, If the chain does not have PBD its just an illusion of privacy with a checkbox. a good coin privacy protects you by default with no compromising transparent addresses without your CONSENT.

Hey guys you like to talk about privacy tech and other stuff you can join my discord, im usually in voice every morning for fun conversation with community members. We focus on Tech and farming and good stuff.

DO NOT JOIN if any of these things appeal to you as we dont like most of crypto+NOT investing, we dont like defi, we dont like nft, tokens, proof of stake, masturbatory nodes, we focus on researching tech with utility and to put crypto grass rootz back on its path... me and my multiple personalitys disorder Tongue

https://discord.gg/z2dasNVDVS

...and good point on BEST, their is no best. Monero has network dominance for sure...  and will always be GRANDPA.    but we need all privacy coins, and they need our support for one day we just might NEED them...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zcash, pirate chain, monero, prcy, which is the best coin for future of privacy? on: January 22, 2024, 09:55:24 PM
What do you think will be the best and why?

The best will come from programmable privacy. Look at some projects that are being developed: Blacknet, Aleo, DarkFi.

Zcash uses zk-SNARKs, which are very good, but they need a trusted setup, which is risky.

Modern zk-SNARKs, like their Halo2, don't rely on the trusted setup.

Programmable privacy would work if the masses cared that much, but you can show them the most amazing stuff and if it involved 5 min extra of work.. you already lost lol. Until the need arises, privacy just aint that popular. Everyone looking for the 1 button solution to their privacy issues and then they get taken and eating up and they boil like the frogs in a pot on the stove... thinkin they livin a great life as they slowly boil.

I liked aleo when it was zexy... their a bit too corporate for a pirate like me,  but the library they building for zkp arrr incredible.
Forunately I trust only myself, so seeing how they receive funds is a big trust issue for me, not to mention drkfee choosing PoW... my faith in grassroots is dwindling...

Also research https://zeroknowledge.fm/the-power-of-tau-or-how-i-learned-to-stop-worrying-and-love-the-setup/
...that also a great site to learn more about ZKP tech

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain could change our future even in elections? on: January 20, 2024, 01:47:33 AM
I would rather have a round table of 100,000 unique citizen presidents of all communities tiny and large making decisions needed for their own unique communal situations than some cookie cutter 1 fits all people crapola... better imo than 1 meathead like biden making the US look like r-tards

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anoncoin - Can a cryptocoin be truely anonymous? on: January 20, 2024, 01:38:41 AM
the biggest concern for me arrr pools, if i wanted to take down a chain i would first attack the frew pools they have online...  Proof of work would be awesome if everyone mined solo... but thats never the case for long at least....  once again centralized to a point in the future when your paying pools to push transactions for you like banks

I think if I had to dream of a new coin to be made I would want the power of Pirates algo with the power of qortal's minting decentralization (mining mechanism - i like it cause it make the use and miner 1 person and the job is to run full nodes to get rewards...  more full nodes larger netwrok) | dustless coin train tracks... all working with reticulum in the core (ip-less tech)

IP Addresses = The Matrix

We can do better....

Amazing, great job so far, really lovin the wallet, bit kinky but happy to see some fresh crypto tech
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NYC] NEW YORK COIN at 2017 MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE IN NYC! on: January 20, 2024, 12:54:26 AM
WNYC listed on komodo wallet .  Komodo is known for pioneering atomic swap technology. Atomic swaps enable users to exchange cryptocurrencies directly between different blockchains without the need for an intermediary or a centralized exchange.

The Komodo Wallet is a multi-coin wallet that supports various cryptocurrencies and provides a secure way for users to manage their digital assets.Komodo provides solutions for both desktop and mobile users

Did they add NYC coin to the katomic dex yet ?

they added wnyc

we need electum server for NYC after they list us

aHH well some of us pirates dont like them wrapped things.. looking forward to seeing it p2sh style on the dex once you guys get on electrum. You know theirs a very special pirate that fights in new york, he is part of the komodo fam since the nxt dayz.... https://odysee.com/$/embed/TompkinsPark_Block-2/e70b12f400890b1040271ba4ed3a779b0e427c1c   . you guys should get together
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zcash, pirate chain, monero, prcy, which is the best coin for future of privacy? on: January 19, 2024, 10:02:35 PM
Pirate (Infinite Anonset) --->  PRCY (32 Ring Monero)  --->  Monero (old struggling to keep up and stay private these days)

In this order, Zcash dont make the cut,,,  it is absolutely not a private by default chain...

Didn't expect ZCash to be rated so badly.

So you would actually rank Pirate (ARRR?) ahead of PRCY and Monero regarding privacy matters? What makes Pirate so much stronger than the others?

ZK-Snarks with Privacy by default with no transparency is what zcash devs dream of at night, but they cannot do it for obvious reasons... Paid devs never do what they want like passionate pirate devs...  they depend on a paycheck, they dont get the freedom to build what they want when they want...

Monero... Old but aged well... its dominance comes from its large network (not its algo... as the algo is not at its best today imho.)  and that can change fast in crypto even though monero has been trying hard to keep up, but we all know they will have to switch to zk eventually..... Also I went to a monero meetup in nyc/cakewallet/monerotopia/blabla and all they spoke about was defi crap. tokens, masternodes, liquidity pools... needless to say as a lifetime pirate..  very disappointing as I want to be talking about tech that can free us from tyranny like Reticulum...  true p2sh atomic swap, zkp innovations, FREE MARKETS!!!  anyway i get very passionate about this cause if you been here as long as I have, the landscape has changed and the tech people talk about looks really really immature to me..

PRCY --> Definitely a step better , I love justin from PRCY Coin, great dev and I hope he is the one who brings monero's tech to the next level as he already has with 32 rings... as we know this code is under attack from corps like ciphertrce so any security/strength enhancements now for randomx/rinct is very important and should have been done on moneros end yesterday imho....  I wanna see 128+ rings.....   but still older algo than the new ZKP stuff as the security is not just a game of shuffling. All the new tech is ZKP for good reasons these days, polygon as well forging the tech even though it aint private

Keep in mind we need all of them as REDUNDANCY in Privacy Tech....  is important. Just as redundancy is important to any corporate data center....

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - An Open, Composable Smart Chain Platform, Secured by B on: January 19, 2024, 09:35:19 PM
Is it possible to buy ARRR on a decentralized exchange like the Komodo DEX?
All exchanges in my research that list ARRR or where you can trade the coin are central, such as CoinEx, Gate.io or FMFW.

What about Tradeogre?

It trades on Qortal and AtomicDEX
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why don't you use DEX? on: January 19, 2024, 08:07:28 PM
Only 2 Real DEX's out atm with every component decentralized including orderbooks, no middlmen services

Katomic Dex ----> aka Komodo Wallet, aka atomic dex, aka hyperdex, aka barrrterdex, aka ....   been made aged a fine wine over the years
Qortal ---->  new and working now

Both use Real Atomic Swap Tech, even though qortal has not opened the ability yet to crosschain trade directly from x coin to y coin the ability is their so dont let the platforms coin fool you it dont work the same like all these bullony dex's that claim to be decentralized...

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storing Network - Decentralized data storage with blockchain rewards. on: January 19, 2024, 07:19:54 PM
Sia ---> screwed it people by forking it coin to its own asics would not have competition... and that was over
Storj---> is built on just a token and dependant on a mother chain... I want real coins/chains with not 3rd parties dependencies
FileCoin---> JUan told everyone that it would be easy for an average person to rent out their extra storage... nothing was further from the truth, 2TB Ram, mad cores, etc only fo da rich
Blockstack---> never really heard much more from them Since,

I seen all 4 of these projects on stage at Token Summit NYC like 5 years ago

If you do this please make sure it is a real chain, make sure the tokenomics make sense, tech is secure w/obfucation/privacy w/e is needed to make users more secure. Locally hosted data like Qortal would be great... with a minting function same that rewards people for full node uptime... its users and not just fly-by-night miners suking the soul out of coins. Miners and users must become 1............................................ Again.
