1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your stategy how to grow bitcoin on: May 19, 2020, 01:20:34 PM
Holding will never increase the Bitcoins you have, bitcoin will remain the same as much you had bough.

Way to grow your Bitcoins depends on the skills you have:
  • if you are good at reading the market then trading is the best thing for you.
  • if you are a writer then you can write content for projects and earn in Bitcoin
  • if you are businessmen then you can sell your product or service for Bitcoin
  • Employee in any company then probably you can code and ask part of your salary in BTC

2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying btc from a forum member on: May 19, 2020, 12:50:01 PM
Buying BTC from a forum member is stupidity, even if the member has high green rating of trust your money can corrupt the person into giving up his or her account, we have exchanges for buying and selling coins, they are lot safer

Exchanges require kyc. So that may not be a problem for you but it is for some of us. I would rather do it peer to peer like btc was designed.

There are exchanges that do not need KYC for trading like CoinSwitch, Changelly Changenow etc., Also, it is safe to trade on a exchange. It takes time and lot of research to judge a member with whom you can trade.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real and fake on: May 19, 2020, 12:22:39 PM
How someone can identify real or plagiarized whitepaper?

You can identify it by try to copy their content 1-2 paragraph or a page to google search or plagiarism checker . If you find many bold sentence on google search or it shows plagiarized on plagiarism checker, you can visit the sites to compare it yourself. But, if you're lazy you can use plagiarism comparison to identify how many % both/multiple text are plagiarized.

I recommended to compare it yourself because I have saw many whitepaper usually do spinning text to avoid plagiarism.

A whitepaper without plagiarism can be publish only content writer needs to be paid a few $. Please explain on this did not get how content can decide a project?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help new ICO project on: May 19, 2020, 12:16:30 PM
If the project you are putting forwarded is valuable then the ICO amount or other value does not matter. The project, team and you sincere efforts matters most in long run. The crowd that you attract in ICO is a crowd that can for free coins that is not the real users the traders and other investor are the real users at the end. Thus, ICO has too less impact if you want to sustain for a longer period.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before investing in bitcoin, What should I think about? on: May 03, 2020, 02:29:31 PM
3. When Will You Need This Money Again?

Thinking about this question and there wont be a fixed answer. There are chances of you market prediction going right but it is hard hard hard to predict life. Think of corona non had predict and it happened and do not know how many families suddenly needed the money. There are also cases where the earning member of the family is suffering.

One more questions that could be added is "Is it the right time to invest?"

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free BTC Mining Sites on: May 03, 2020, 02:16:58 PM
I would not say it is completely free as you need to have the system for installing the software and internet to run it.

CGMiner

CGMiner is the best Bitcoin mining software, which has been around for a while because of a plethora of features and community acceptance. CGMiner is the cross-platform Bitcoin mining software that supports Windows, Mac, Linux, OS X, and many other platforms, thus proving it to be the overall winner. CGMiner is a command-line application, that has complete monitoring, remote interface capabilities, and fan speed control.

The best part about CGMiner is that it can scale to hash rate of any size as it comes with a scalable network scheduler, plus it is compatible with both ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) - like Hexfury and BlackArrow to Cointerra and Minion and FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) software. It supports multiple pools with intelligent failover mechanisms and prevents stale work submission on new blocks.

MultiMiner

For the newcomers, MultiMiner is one of the best Bitcoin Mining software as it is comparatively very easy to use, even for users who are new to this. MultiMiner (famous coin miner) is a desktop-based software, which is embedded with a variety of features like automatic detection of network devices, even has the ability to monitor and control other MultiMiner rigs, remotely. It is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and other platforms as well.

MultiMiner lets you switch mining devices like ASICs, FPGAs between different cryptocurrencies (e.g. Litecoin, Bitcoin) without any effort. It uses the mining engine to detect the software and lets you choose which of the cryptocurrencies to mine.

MultiMiner is the best software for first time users and it is compatible with many mining devices like Block Erupter or Bitforce, HashBuster Micro.

Study the previous halving action and then you can conclude(predict) what would happen during this halving there are lot many videos and predictions but, it is always good to do your own analysis.

Thread of Bitcointalk where halving is discussed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5244114.msg54314254#msg54314254

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Today i opened acc on Bittrex.com what i should do next? on: April 24, 2020, 07:22:26 PM
It is better you explore first then invest. You can just check out the official account of Bittrex on youtube for guide. I think this is their channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtkqI5sHrv8NNz0aiDCMe5g

You can even contact their support for assistance. It is great to hold funds on a paper or hardware wallet. Thus, my advise is you create a wallet first to store your coins.

12  Local / India / Re: Crypto ATM in India. Would it be worth it ? on: April 24, 2020, 07:07:30 PM
In India currently there is no much crowd that is buying and using Crypto. Thus, if there is a ATM somewhere in a corner of Bangalore will not cater to the actual crowd that is using Crypto. The security and maintenance would cost more then the actually buying through the ATM machine. Instead, the exchanges in India are much helping and easy to ue they are better than installing an ATM.
13  Local / India / Re: How to Buy Bitcoins in India without Getting Scammed on: April 24, 2020, 06:56:24 PM
Hey Everyone,

I have been trying to purchase Bitcoin, I am from India and I have seen most of the people are either charging double or are trying to scam.
I just want a legit person/way to purchase Bitcoins in India through IMPS or UPI.

I am asking here because I haven't got any information on the google.
I have a Localbitcoin account which I have only used to sell Bitcoins and have good reputation.

Now the point is I want to know if it's safe to purchase or not?
Please reply with a legit option.

Thank you.

I have done buying on CoinSwitch and giottus. Year's ago Zebpay was awesome, have not checked the current app.

All the best!!!!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: April 09, 2020, 11:08:50 AM
Other than BTC I am holding ETH, BCH and EOS. few days back there was signal on DATA, SNT and MCO thus traded them. Long term it is hard to predict the small cap coins bull or bearish run.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this A Misdirected Coin? on: April 09, 2020, 10:35:32 AM
Congrats Cool If you sincerely want to return the funds you can just resend funds back to the address from where it came from. It is really hard to find out to whom the coins actually belong to.

If you were previously used that address to receive payments then someone from your customer might have sent by mistake. If this is one of the possibility then check the history did you previous receive from that address. Probably the customer might have saved your address before and by mistake selected the address now.

For fun you can do this do not disclose the hash or the amount you received and just create thread that one who comes up with the correct hash and the amount can recover there funds. I am saying this because if someone lost it he will some on forums and will ask for solutions thus, there is possibility that he can see the thread.

17  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie to Jnr on: April 09, 2020, 10:14:49 AM
Even if you have simply googled this question you would have got the reply to your question. Here is the detailed explaintion by Theymos https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

Probably because of no proper contribution to the forum since signup is the biggest reason for the newbie status below the username. You can pay and upgrade but, even after that any activity against the forum rule can permanently ban the account. Thus, the best thing is to read forum rule have upgrade with natural capacity.
18  Local / India / Re: Current status of Indian Crypto exchanges on: April 09, 2020, 10:09:15 AM

I am still using localbitcoins for converting into fiat only for my needs at the moment, trading is still not yet for me on exchanges like wazirx.

Same here WazirX is not that user friendly. I had used Giottus and CoinSwitch since before for buying and trading and I think there are many more like us that prefer these exchanges over wazir or new exchanges.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Posting on BitcoinTalk: how do I know when my post is "too long"? on: January 28, 2020, 11:00:07 AM
Looking at your past Threads created, I could find the below threads

They are long but are worth reading. It did not matter to me that it was long as it was informational. I think it is not wrong to explain more.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChangeHero.io - exchanger scammed me for 21 010 USDT on: January 28, 2020, 10:41:59 AM
ChangeHero.io is either subsidiary or affiliate of IndaCoin.

So, I left negative feedback for IndaCoin. I also believe that we need a trust flag for IndaCoin user as well.

I think Changehero might have used Indacoin name but, is it right to -ve review Indacoin for this. I have used Indacoin and my buying when well.

Also, i checked Indacoin rating it is good:
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/indacoin.com

Indacoin is used/partnered by top wallets and exchanges as per data on their website: https://indacoin.com/en-SG/buy-bitcoin-with-cardusd

They have mentioned below exchange as their partner:
  • Guarda wallet
  • Trust Wallet
  • Changenow
  • Okex
  • Changelly
