what method do you use for your outgoing and incoming crypto transactions?

GDP was down 2.9% in January as the supply chains have been thrown into havoc and business disruptions have been described as "endemic," and it turns out the government didn't do an economic assessment on the trade deal despite it being the most consequential trade agreement in memory. It's one thing to have the economy torpedoed by global macro economic conditions, it's an entirely different one to steer the ship headlong into the iceberg as Britain has done. Shipping between mainland UK to Europe and even Northern Ireland is now such a hassle that I don't consider it unless totally desperate. I shipped some products to a guy in Slovakia and it took 3 weeks to "process" in customs. Germany was about the same, and even Northern Ireland, usually only 2 days took over a week. The time to process stuff will probably get faster, sure, but still got to attach export documents where they were not required before in addition to the extra cost. Kinda sucks. |

The fastest way I can think of to become trustworthy is to have personal info on file somewhere. Personal info doesn't mean much to a global community with magic internet money. Even if I know who and where you are, it will be very hard to use legal means to get back money if you scam. And after all that hassle, the collected evidence may not even be enough to convince a court. Apart from the whole trust-part, there's another problem: how will you decide who's right and who's wrong if the buyer claims to have received a brick instead of the ordered items? A proper escrow would personally inspect the items before forwarding the package to the buyer.
I've read a general rule about acting as escrow, and I like it: don't offer it until many people have asked you to escrow for them. Yeah if hard earned "trust" is the only way to convince folks of a genuine / non-scam agenda then i'll just keep working on that. In a dispute, I planned to act just like any other resolution process would and review evidence. Buyer claims a bricks were shipped - What is the weight of box of bricks and does that match the courier/shipping records? How does the seller respond when asked to prove bricks were not shipped? All this feedback is useful.. Not an issue if no one uses the service, at least I learned a lot about integrating web requests/btc rpc from setting it up and testing it  |

Anyway, the response to "newbie" grade users I am seeing here is unanimously negative, it is tough going. It took me an enormous effort to prove that an ASIC Seller website was legitamite back in 2019. I'll quit trying and perhaps come back when I have come up with a way to reassure I am not trying to screw anyone over.
Since you already have experience of this kind it's even more puzzling why you'd think that offering escrow services as a noob would work here. Guess it is pretty naive to have a service trusted out the blue. I'll stick around and make it work evenutally. I plan on making more services. Working on free access to futures trader bots and improving the UI for the free spot trader bot I already have live. |

On Telegram's ASIC Hardware market, the admins use a verification process (with government IDs and video, basically standard KYC) to hold sellers accountable and filter ourt scammers.
Does the forum do something similar? I'd be happy to dox myself to a trustworthy 3rd party for earning the forum's trust.
No. Dox doesn't prove shit. We are not equipped to handle KYC, keep private information secure, or recognize fake documents. And bringing up Telegram as an example of something trustworthy is not going to go over well. You should probably stay over there. Telegram is saturated with scammers, true but if you heard of @hardwaremarket and @mpverify groups you would understand what I mean, their verification system for ASIC sellers makes it virtually impossible to get scammed and I am confident the admins and brains behind the system (Joe cryptech and Saveli) are long time bitcointalk members. They "were not equipped to handle KYC" but they made it work by charging people a small fee to become verified. People pay to hand over goverment docs etc. Anyway, the response to "newbie" grade users I am seeing here is unanimously negative, it is tough going. I'll look into this multisig idea for reputation, i wanted to be personally involved in transactions as little as possible (because I need to work!) but will research the idea.
Without having enough trading history and good volume of the trade amount, I do not think anyone will entrust you as an escrow. In fact, you may even receive negative feedback as warning from the members of the community if you attempt to do such a deal without showing enough credibility. That does make sense, a bit shitty but understandable. The fastest way I can think of to become trustworthy is to have personal info on file somewhere. I would need to re-work the logic on the website (not a massive deal) and 2. the service would need to rely on humans to complete transactions. I guess i COULD generate some sort of "One Time" clickable link hash to send out to all multisig partners that woul trigger payout at the correct time..... Ideally... I want the Buyer and Seller to be able to open and close an Escrow deal without any other party influence required. So far that is the way the system works. |

Why would anyone trust you with their money? I suggest having a x/y multisig wallet and get few users from the forum on board with you. So to release a tx you will need more than one signature and the risk is less for the buyers and sellers. Valid point, thanks. Testemonies would be valuable (need to have users first lol) but I guess I could share the php source code after I strip it of wallet info? Also, I do own the domain so my personal info including address are on record with godaddy.. And happy to video call over telegram or whatever if someone wants to know the face behind the website! Sad to see. I set it so the buyer can "dispute" the transactions and request a % refund from the seller (if for example some stuff was damaged in shipping?). So disputes can be resolved between yourselves! The seller, when paying out, can also pick the miner fee the payout will use. It looks pretty basic but functions very well. It's nice and all, and i realise that if you've chosen a strong password the odds of anybody bruteforcing this hash is very, very, very close to 0.
This being said, i'm always a bit sceptical if a newbie enters the forum with an account that can be thrown away in a heartbeat and offers a very big reward for about any task... IF somebody actually succeeds, and by doing so helps you improve your security, what's stopping you from just logging out never to return to bitcointalk using the same account?
If you offer a reward, it should be helt in escrow by a trusted forum member... At very least you should give proof of funds (altough this is not sufficient imho)
I wouldn't recommend brute forcing, unless you have several powerful rigs at your disposal. Word lists + rules are usually better. And I know my account is "noob" but I have been around a while, albeit with low activity. I've been more involved with mining forums, than bitcoin general. |

Why going for this miner which isn't that friendly in all way round?
When you get tired of it, what are you going to do?
In my own opinion, if energy is cheaper or friendly in your location, you can give GPU a trial as it offers more benefits such as no noise, algorithm switching, can be customized and you can also resale when the need arises.
actually if power is cheap you should do some gpu and some asic if power is cheap (or free) it's better to choice S9 10 x S9 = about $2000 = 140Tx 13 kW/h 2 x S17Pro = about $5000 or more = 125Tx 6 kW/h and we have ~3000 dollars to pay for cheap electricity  Also got to remember that you have huge amps to contend with for the 10x S9 option. 13kW is minimum 55A And S9 is closer to 1500W per unit than 1300W, driving that amperage up to over 60A which potentially puts you in need of some professional electrician and modifications to existing circuits. The S17 option you mention, which is more likely to draw around 2200W per unit depending on the model you go for, would leave you needing less than 20A. Even most homes could handle that as an addition to your regular domestic circuit. |

To be completely honest, they fantastic and customer service is better than expected. I got a Dayun Z1 pro and one board kept failing (possibly user error as they seemed to get it working...) but Gavin (legend) agreed to let me switch for 2x Innosilicon T2Tz.
They Ship from China as expected so you'll get import fees but their prices are fair. If you are in the UK, use a forwarded to get cheaper prices as they charge for the UK tax, dunno how that works but you'll save like 10% sending through Germany or whatever.
I plan to get a couple more and would feel completely safe using BTC / bank transfer now, given my experience with a paypal transaction.
No offence but Providing some proof of how friendly the customer services was and how they helped you would be much better. Not so many people will believe what you are saying from just words... me inclusive. Not a problem, happy to help with your confidence in these guys because its so f*cking hard to find ASIC sellers that are not scammers. Coin mining central are decent guys are you can definitely trust them So, here is my transaction with them and some snippets of the convo I had to get a replacement. The replacement cost more so I did pay extra for them.    |

Hi everyone, I was having serious issues getting my Z1 Pro connected on my network - this whole idea of using a static IP on a fixed network segment was fine, seemed simple, but when I actually came to getting it connected ... it never worked. I was sure I was doing everything right. Anyway - If you load the removable media from the Zigminer into a Linux machine you can edit the firmware files, and if you navigate to the following location and make the changes in bold below, your miner should start up and use DHCP to connect to your network. Location on firmware image: (media)/rootfs/etc/network/interfaces Open as root/superuser interfaces is a config file, just edit in nano/Pluma or your fav editor. auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto eth0 allow-hotplug eth0iface eth0 inet dhcp#address 192.168.1.100 #netmask 255.255.255.0 #gateway 192.168.1.254 pre-up /root/getmac.sh hwaddress `cat /root/macaddr` dns-nameservers 87.237.17.200DNS-nameserver can be whatever nameserver you want to use. I wondered if you could point me in the direction of a solution for my only major hurdle...
When using Yiimp, no matter if its on an Azure VPS in France with all ports set up, or an Ubuntu server on my home network, I cannot seem to get the new coin wallet to "connect" to a Yiimp wallet.
Beneath the Difficulty/ Blocks / Balance .. I get "ERROR Connection timed out after 20000 milliseconds"
Coin config correct with rpc data + server/daemon/listen=1 and definitely restarted and running daemon with 'deprecatedrpc=accounts -printtoconsole'
Also - when I run the stratum script with sha config I get a "dead lock" error loop:
20:46:40: 2019-07-22 starting stratum for sha256 on ubuntuserver18:3333
20:47:17: 2019-07-22 sha256 dead lock, exiting...
Am I missing something super Obvious!? The web server works well and wallets all connect perfectly so the network is good.
nevermind I found out bitcoin 18.99 has many reasons why the stratum part will not work well with yamp.
I'm going to clone bitcoin 16 and start over which I think will work better.

I have been searching for a miner for BTCZ - the GUI one in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FjW2kV3VzQ link from on btcz.rocks does not 'download' anything - connection error?. I want to use a miner that can utilize some RX470 (I have found many for Nvidia cards) Anyone know of an OpenCL miner for BTCZ ? |
