I don't really see the point of the coin now. 1% is too low, not even what you get from a bank account. There is no websites using the coin, no games,... and now no mining, just bagholders.
Don't misinterpret me, I'm holding a fair amount of Blackcoins, I'm just concerned about the future of the coin.
It is matter of time to adopt this coin for services, charity, donations, etc. All bag holders should consider to share with their wealth, which is in fundaments of economy. Money should rotate, not just staked for dividends.
What about all those coins which are in billions units, are they better. 1% is good enough to not to hold for profit. Mintcoin for example has 20% reward in the first year, 15% second year, 10% third year, then 5%. Is it better model? I don't think so.
I see Blackcoin as a true alternative to other well established coins, if developed further respectfully.
Everyone sees in alt coins a profit model, but I want to see good 10 coins which are reliable with fast transactions to choose from in the next years. Let's see if Blackcoin have enough muscles to hit 10th place at least.
Respect to all other coin developers, with exception for so called scam coins. How much BTC people lost, because of PANDAcoin hype? Many!
I believe in Blackcoin, and even now I am not aimed to get profit from PoS. 1% is fair enough to support the coins life with your computer, sharing it's resources. Be it 0.5%, and I'd still loved it.
