I've not been following the thread entirely, could you clarify how the new wallet will work?
I.E. I have some AC still left in my wallet at Bittrex - will this amount just carry over to the new version once everything is activated etc?
Its the same coins, everythings the same except the premine coins are devalidated and on the wrong fork.

Looking good guys, keep sending those ACs back in the wallets. The more in wallets, the less in markets meaning more price. And please try to improve on the english.
But the economy only spins when people are transacting with AC. Bring on the merchants? Atm 99% BTC is held by 1% of the ppl while 0.5% own 99% of all Blackcoins hence their price. The more held will leave less to be bought increasing price and creating further demand which is what yall want. If 160mill of 170mill was held in wallets, you will see a similar boom as in the case of BC, BTC, Cinni. Merchants will still work. while mining AC at AC POW period I have tried to calculate balances of global AC hash rate and market dump every day. most often it was 20GH for AC at the end dropped to 10GH every day around 1200 BTC value of AC was mined - at 0.06 BTC/MH if short term speculation on AC market estimated as 75% of exchanges turnover ( this is rather low estimate as oil or gold market pure speculation is over 99% ) that signifies much less than 1/6 of mined AC was dumped on the market right away each day and someone has accumulated large quantity of mined AC ?Sorry i dont understand u, can u please rephrase it using better english? during POS ( mining ) period of AC average hash rate was 20GH at the end dropped to 10GH easiest site to watch hash rate is http://liteshack.com/at average 0.06 BTC/MH ( each rig gets 0.06 value of coin per 1MH of rig power per day - term used every day by miners ) around 1200 BTC value of AC was mined every day if all markets turnover of AC was then no more than 600 BTC http://coinmarketcap.com/volume.html and most likely not less than 75% of this turnover was short term buying ans selling ( that is low estimate as for instance on forex markets of oil or gold short term plays without intention to hold is over 99% of turnover ) that measn that less than 1/6 of mined AC was sold right away that means someone had accumulated large quantities of mined AC during PPOS period hope this language more correct Sounds excellent, more and more whales are acumlating and holding cold for the long term.

I'm sure this has been asked a 100 times already, but I have a real job and no way to read 43 pages to find it. How do I recover my 100k coins? They are still in the old wallet that has been running nonstop.
I have a real job as well. I didn't read all 40+ pages in one seating. Help yourself and at least read the first page or visit the website, www.thecoin.asia, for the news and FAQ. Hi ORiN. Nice of you to jouin the convo. I appreciate you being such an ass, and in fact did read. I think what this coin needs in strength, not asshats. By first page you meant the original thread? or this one? or the faq? or the news? In fact man, I asked for a simple bit of help as I do not have the time to read pages and pages to keep up with one coin I believed in. I do believe in it still but asshats like you run folks off. Maestro summed it up, and told me all I needed to know. Thanks for helping asshat. Sorry if you think I was being an asshat. when I said the first page or the website, I mean the first page this thread or the website. If you did either, you would have enough information as both had summaries that Maestro did. When did asking someone to to help himself become being an asshat? hi is anyone here willing to buy my asia coin? at 0.00000950 sat? i have 110924.86503200 ac i bought it @ 0.00001367
Now it seems to me on what little time I have had to catch up on the coin, that no one should use their wallet in the current state. Correct me if I am wrong, but we all should wait for the 2.0 wallet. Unless ORiN sees different.... Glad to see that you did some catching up on your own. We already have too many doubters who won't believe anything we are trying to communicate to them. The exchanges are testing the new wallet and once they verified that all is good to go, the new wallet will be ready for public release. Slow and steady wins the race. We have been through so much over the past few days and it will be a huge pity to fall at the last hurdle. Backup your wallet.dat and hang in there for the new wallet. Scraggy and Orin relax you're both in the same team

I just recieved word from Plath.net developer that they have reviewed our new source code, are happy with the work, and have upgraded their wallets to the new version. The trades and deposits there are on hold as well per our recommendation.
Offtopic but never realised Palth looked so close to Mintpal...potential of the exchange here?

Awesome I'm definitely donating. Incredible how awesome the website looks and how much work people have put in.
I guess the current dilemma is whether to keep the 100% POS and have more coins or adjust the POS so that you end up with 320 million at the end of the year. If the number of minted coins is 190 million including the 30 million dumped from the dev, so after 100% pos there would be 380 million coins. Contrast with having say 70% POS and 323 million. I guess it all depends if the number of coins will push the price down proportionally, if the coin number increases with the price staying fixed of course that is more desirable but I feel its unlikely.
I would be okay with either. I don't feel deft enough to ascertain whether the price would be able to remain constant or increase while the coin supply is increasing, or project how the increase of coins would influence the value of the coins especially since cryptocurrencies are so inherently volatile.
We decided to change PoS staking rates to a gradually decreasing one (obviously by debating it here), details here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=595999.msg6547116#msg6547116Can u add this to the frontpage by editing as well as adding to the website? It is on the front page (second post though). We will add it to the website today. Btw i msged cinnicoin dev on his blockchain no reply yet, and hows ur search going for the blockchain? Richlist is easy blockchain's the hard part

Atm we're thinking to get Agran richlist with this type of blockchain below: http://blackcha.in/
|
|
|
Can we clean it up so the blockchain looks pretty? And a richlist thats very good looking? not coinia or agran? Those services are paid and we still haven't received enough donations to be able to cover them (a good looking blockchain and richlist would cost around 1 BTC). Thats CHEAP hahaha, once Mintpal is back i sure hope ppl donate not in btcs but in Asiacoins to show support that they are holding them.
