Working fine on ubuntu 14.04
|
|
|
my amd fx8350 hashing with 8 cores only results in a hashrate of 0.9 Kh/s on nonce-pool
is that normal?
It should be around 4.8Khash/s at default, at least it's what I get.

Getting about 15Kh per thread (4 threads) on i5 with cygwin and temp not gone above 60C:
Can you set number of threads?

guys, you're just fine with the new miners, every one does have less hash now. Please let me know if you find blocks, just to be sure working fine. (I do see mining in my computer)
Tha hashrate in wallet remained the same, only the minerd one is down. Now they're equal. How come is that?

Ok, so I compiled it, but I can't set number of threads (it always maxes them out to , also, I don't see any output. EDIT: This new standalone miner shows 2x less hashrate per thread. You're in cygwin or linux, for windows, check out the above post for the standalone miner. Cygwin - I can't set number of threads, and have no output, cpu usage is just around 30%. Windows standalone : I get 2x less hashrate than the previous standalone miner.

Will try it now, thanks, but I was asking about standalone version (not a Cygwin one).

Is there already compiled working win32 miner available?
|
|
|
So, will this old, already compiled Win32 miner V2 work on official release? Is the new one faster?

I'm running Windows and want to mine @ the Nonce-Pool, what I have to write in the .bat file?
minerd --url stratum+tcp://stratum+tcp://mine2.magi.nonce-pool.com:4090 --user XXXX.userX --pass XXXX --threads 1
...doesn't work, CMD is closing after 1 second
You've got "stratum+tcp://" part written twice. EDIT: and the coin isn't launched yet.

You could try running Kopiemtu just to see if it changes things. If it still runs like crap it's hardware related, otherwise you'll probably want to keep looking at your Windows settings, drivers etc.
Well, that could be great idea. I'll try it out later and let you know. Thanks!!! EDIT: One more question, as I use this computer for many different purposes, for example mining new coins (algos) with cpu, windows is pretty much great for me. Copiemtu would make it heavier. I'll try it, but then again, will my 750ti-s work well under, for example, Ubuntu 14.04 x64, launched from VMware?

Check your power settings:
Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings > Power Management Mode You'll want it to be set for "Prefer Maximum Performance", not "adaptive".
If this doesn't cut it, and even if you don't want to overclock, it's generally better to have the GPUs in locked in the highest boost clock mode - in EVGA PrecisionX for example - this is achieved by setting > Voltage > K-Boost on. Other vendor utilities (Afterburner, etc) might have a different name to this feature, I don't know...
Good Luck! ~ Myagui
That didn't solve my problem, tried it at the very first day maybe, maybe it's the AMD motherboard. If that's the case, I'll have to for some H81 or so.

Well, I was already complaining that my hashrates are low too. I didn't find any appropriate answer so far. They are also fluctuating, but not always. I thought that playing youtube video in the background can help me stabilize them, sometimes it happened so I thought I've found the solution, but they again start fluctuating. It is independent of overclock and cpu usage. My cards are MSI GTX750ti twin frozr, without extra 6 pin pci-e. Motherboard is gigabyte 990FXA-UD3, FX8350@4.3GHz and 4 GB ram (tried with 8 gigs too, no help). Cards are in x16 and x8 slots, with no risers/ My X11 rates won't go over 2MH/s, now they are 1.6... and still fluctuating. On Cryptonight algo I get around 215H/s, no matter how much I OC, I can't get past 245H/s, also, when CCminer/NVminer shows total HR for both cards, I get like 350 H/s, then 450, then 400, and so on. I'm completely clueless for more than 2 months, but my previous questions remain unanswered. So I'm asking again. Does anyone have similar problem?

Not sure if anyone's jumping on Doomcoin (luffa-512) but I just butchered a ccminer fork, ripping 10 out of the 11 algo's for x11, getting 53 MH/s for a 750 Ti and 111 MH/s for 780 Ti. I wonder if I will get blocks as I know nothing about programming and am actually proud it compiled.
I didn't manage to compile my butchered version

Total. But network hashrate is in h/s. So divide your total number of cores/CPUs result by 1000 Edit, sorry, you said average core. You weren't wrong about that. But then again, /1000 still stands LOL I read networkhashps as kh/s so yeah only 3000 cores now. well i have 2000 cores running. And I'm not getting 2/3'rds of the blocks. So it's still doesn't add up. Time to stop mining. Bring back XPM!! Haha, tell me about it. I used to read it that way too and then I realised there is only one letter "K" in networkhashps

"networkhashps" : 3175172
Well there's a clue... given that the average cpu core is doing a little over 1 kh/s, if that value is correct then that's 3 million cores on it. Which is not true. So somebody somewhere is mining with something different.
You missed the average cpu hashrate by at least 5 fold. My CPUs give me something over 12Kh/s. EDIT: Oh, and total hashrate is around 3501000 average CPUs. Like 100300-400 better ones.

Wow. Is this difficulty correct?

Please, can you just let me know so I don't waste my hashrate is if I made some mistake... there are no blocks yet. I seem to have solid hashrate and yet 0 blocks found. Difficulty is still very low. What is the real network hashrate now? Can I see my unconfirmed transactions or balance shows only confirmed ones?

Dev, can you please confirm I'm on the right chain?
