41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 24, 2021, 11:55:36 AM

Dogecoin and that's about it. All the other shinu whatever will be long gone soon.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some BSC influencers you follow for price signals? on: June 24, 2021, 11:54:17 AM
Any twitter/tiktok/instagram influencers you follow to get insights or find knew tokens worth buying?

Not those with fake followers and retweets but legit sphere of influence.

You'll be hurt if you follow advice from some influencers, it's better to study and do your own research in every each project that you want to enter, it is your money so be very careful to buy some new coins/token much better to buy some old existing coin that has shown their capacity and stability in several years, at least your money are safe in these kind of project.

You are right, influencers almost ALWAYS have their own little agenda (affiliate farming, pump and dumps, etc) and will hardly ever make their followers any significant gains. I mean why would they? But with that being said some skilled newbie influencers are worth following for good info. Especially while they are "clout building" and making a name for themselves. These guys will give you their soul for a follow and will share some very good info. But overall your right as soon as someone gains "influencer" status they become worthless.
43  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency Payment Processor? on: June 24, 2021, 11:33:43 AM
Which cryptocurrency payment processor is the best? Btcpay server is ok but its too technical. I am looking for a reliable and trusted 3rd party provider to use for my side project.

Is this for the WooCommerce WordPress site?

You can try Blockonomics but there is a 1% fee for every transaction it easy to set up.

About for BTCpayserver if you can't run a full node on your own you can use some trusted 3rd party who has Bitcoin full node you can find the list from this link below.

Even their demo actually works fine.

Thanks I will look into Blockonomics. Much appreciated.

He is dead mate. The least we can do is let him RIP. He was maverick and definitely brightened up my day on many occasions.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is point of Tehnical analysis? on: June 24, 2021, 09:07:29 AM
Sideways trends have proved that technical analysis doesn't always mean anything.

About a month ago we hit 30k, and TA is constantly predicting a breakout up or down, usually up, but instead the market crabs sideways, something only a few people predicted, and most of them didn't use technical analysis to figure it out.

TA is such a pointless endeavor in a market that is so controlled and volatile by the current BTC price action, especially if it is dependent upon the behavior of whales.

What do you think about it?

TA is not a guaranteed or definitive way to predict price movements. It's more directional. By this I mean TA gives you an idea of what is *most likely* to happen. Based on this information you can make better trading/investing decisions. The better your TA the more likely your predictions will come to fruition.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Inflation only happens when Central Banks print High Denominated Notes? on: June 23, 2021, 03:44:27 PM
All non-backed fiat currencies will eventually experience some level of hyperinflation because the incentives to keep printing are just too high. Imagine having the ability to create money out of thin air with minimal restriction, oversight and effort. Wouldn't you keep printing? Especially when faced with economic distress as seen with the covid19. In other words we will see bigger bank notes in the near future.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: June 23, 2021, 03:26:21 PM
Just curious, do any of you set stop losses and recollect again later? Or do you just HODL regardless of what the dip is.

I always use stop losses when I'm trading. Even when I'm trading spot (no margin). Holding a loosing trade is nothing like hodling (investing). As a trader you want to keep firing as new trading opportunities come up. You can't enter new trades if your stuck in a loosing trade. This is called opportunity costs. I rather cut my loses (with a stoploss) and get into a new trade than to maintain a loosing position. The double whammy of loosing money on a bad trade while also incurring opportunity costs is beyond amateur.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshis Wallet on: June 23, 2021, 02:55:43 PM
A concern of mine is what if he dumps his bitcoin on exchanges, what effect will that have on environment of bitcoin if the creator is dumping?
If his all bitcoin would sell once a time then it would be sure that bitcoin price may turn into lower direction. But it would be possible mate !!! When Satoshi nakamoto comes to be published...

It has nothing to do about that;
The NSA created bitcoin, the algo's have limited shelf life

I used to take about one a month to crack a virgin satoshi 50btc block, now its 15+ month, I have been following this stuff for 9 long years. I too spend my time crack ECDLP algo's, some 30+ years ago DES/ESA, it too had limited shelf life, the entire BTC system is 100% based on NSA algos SHA256 & SecP256k1

Once all the satoshi virgin coins are 'gone' then there will be little to defend,

but riddle me this pathetic morons? The chinese have ruled bitcoin since 2014, but only now are they letting u know?

Here's the deal, unlike u pathetic morons both Russia, Iran, & China know that BITCOIN is  a BIS/NSA/CIA/IMF trojan horse, so of course they're going to pull the plug, and the largest debtor nation

Satoshi can be just about anyone or any group. So I won't try to dispute you on that. But even if what you are saying is half true and the sha256 was to be "cracked". Wouldn't the community (through consensus) just fork and move onto a new algo? And so on.
49  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency Payment Processor? on: June 23, 2021, 12:45:54 PM
Here's a list: https://github.com/alexk111/awesome-bitcoin-payment-processors/#readme
ps: i'm not affiliated with this list, it's not mine, but it looks reasonable...

This list is from the guy who made the debitpay directory, and he seems to maintain it on a reasonably regular basis...
Good luck!

Thank you. Much appreciated.

51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What does the bitcoin industry really need? on: June 23, 2021, 09:23:37 AM
There are many skilled developers and entrepreneurs in the bitcoin industry but it looks as though everyone is doing the same thing. Such as building exchanges, tokens, etc. But what I want to know is what does the bitcoin industry really need in terms of infrastructure? What will make the user experience magnitudes of times better? What will push forward adoption?

All comments are welcome.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Not Sell! Don't Let The Whales Get Your Precious BTC! on: June 23, 2021, 08:00:40 AM
Its not an opinion. He is basically begging you not to sell. In other words he would like you to lose even more money. When you have friends like that, who needs enemies.

Haha, I doubt he is being malicious. At worst he is most likely projecting his fears and sort of telling himself to hodl. We all do it. We all tell everyone to hodl when in reality we just want to be reassured too.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's regulatory measures are becoming stricter on: June 22, 2021, 07:02:27 PM
Panic has started and the market crashes for the umpteenth time because of several FUDs and China's decision to expel miners from China. China's regulations regarding the use of cryptocurrencies are very strict, even large companies that want to start adopting cryptocurrencies in China are warned not to add cryptocurrency payment options. I don't know why China's regulations are too strict and controversial, whether this is just manipulation by some elites. I dunno, but I still believe Bitcoin will be bullish at the right time.

The market was correcting from a consecutive 5 month rally. Human nature always wants to find a "reason" for technical corrections caused by PA, profit taking and overall structure. I assure you even if we were getting good news every 1 hour, the market would have crashed due to natural market movements. In other words this china "fud" is another way to explain what was always going to happen.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding and taking profits on: June 22, 2021, 06:53:46 PM
From analysis, it has been argued severally that hodlers are winner and earn more profits than traders, this depends on your expertise and where you fall into. The current situation now means that anyone that bought lower and didn't take profit because of greed or another reason will soon be at loss or breakeven if things continue to go down. Now many people are lamenting because they didn't expect this at this time and didn't take profit because they thought the uptrend will last more for better profit. For people that has been here for long knows the cycle and this kind of situation is inevitable. For people that can be patient I think they can still get back to the former or expected profit but this is not guaranteed. In my opinion I think it's better to hodl and take profit at the right time and wait for the dip to buy back more quantities and wait for more profit. This way you earn more profits. What do you feel is best to do when holding a coin, please share your opinions!

It all depends on the timeframe. Traders usually outperform hodlers (investors) in the short to medium term. But the longer the trade the more your likely to mess up, so for this reason hodlers usually out perform traders in the long term.
55  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Now is definitely an excellent time for personal mining on: June 22, 2021, 11:59:46 AM
The cost of buying cryptocurrency directly is too high, and the investment in mining is still much less than that of buying cryptocurrency directly. We have to control costs and risks

I think its easier and possibly cheaper to buy cryptocurrencies rather than mine them. Personal mining era has passed.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Some words of encouragement during this market crash on: June 21, 2021, 01:17:22 PM
The markets is looking horrible and I know some of you want to hear some fact based words of encouragement. Its hard to comprehend this at the moment. But we have not reached the top of this cycle yet. This looks a lot like 2013 when the market crashed half way through the cycle before continuing upwards. Just check the charts and compare it your self. Bitcoin bull markets end in fireworks not crabbing formations. If you are in then just hodl and do something productive until August. If you aren't in yet, then start DCA'ing. Peace.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are all the golden rules of bitcoin predicting? on: June 21, 2021, 09:52:14 AM
So. I heard recently from one of the few more level headed crypto youtubers. "Buy the hype, sell the news" or something. Basically she predicted the SNL doge crash. I wish I had watched that video before hand. But that's a new golden rule, buy, then before the news/expectation that it will pump sell.

One thing I know is never sell at a loss? Maybe? Hold like your life depends on it.

Any other golden rules I should know about? I constantly hear about everyone making great gains but I never seem to be able to.

It's very straight forward. if you can learn how to predict (or anticipate) human behavior then you can most likely predict price action (directionally). The market is made of human participants (and bots that are trained to react to market structure which is preceded by human action). Learn human behavior and you will have an edge on the market. That's why they say the best traders are usually psychologists.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA, how to sell during upgrade? on: June 21, 2021, 07:21:50 AM
Hello everyone.

Does anybody knows how to sell IOTA?

Market is going down, dont want keep it on cold wallet.

All exchanges freeze withdraw/deposit, maybe someone has the same issue?

not sure what you are talking about, Bitfinex supported upgrade two months ago, and you can withdraw/deposit IOTA on the exchange, and do whatever you want with it
there was a week when withdrawals were freeze during April, when Chrysalis upgrade was launched

IOTA is a good project, but follow market that is heading down, although IOTA did not reach their ATH during first half of 2021

Yes I can confirm Bitfinex is supporting deposit/withdrawal IOTA as usual.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme tokens dangerous or moon on: June 21, 2021, 07:18:03 AM
This is a thread where we will discuss meme tokens that are unrugable and which can moon. We will detail steps to avoid being scammed. We will discuss signs that a token is going to moon. We will give updates on our offical meme token Jomon Shiba aka $JSHIBA.

I would go as far as to say meme coins are the most dangerous crypto's to hold. They have zero utility and are all copy pastes of each other. As soon as the hype dies they all trend to toward zero. Doge included.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin plunging? What is the reason for this? on: June 21, 2021, 06:30:58 AM
Bitcoin has been in the doldrums for nearly a month, what caused such a thing to happen. Could he be the end?

It's most likely due to distribution (selling) by institutional investors who bought in the low 20's and sold off in the 50's. With that being said, it looks like they are now rebuying in the low 30's and will redistribute at 80s to 90s. Its all text book if you look at the charts. Also you have the a mini black swan event regarding the Chinese ban on mining which is forcing a lot of miners to sell off their BTC to fund offshore mining operations. All in all, this should all resolve itself sometime in late Q3. We will end the year with a new ATH.
