[DOTA 2] Two more days until the champion of the first BLAST Bounty Hunt will be crowned. We have top 4 teams and those are: Secret, Nigma, Liquid and OG. Friday is bringing us 2 amazing matches: upper bracket finals and lower bracket round 2 clash. However upper bracket finals are surely match of the day.

Team Nigma - Team Liquid: Team Nigma ML, 1.48 @ MY BETSLIP
Team Secret - OG: OG 1.5, 1.84 @ MY BETSLIP

MATCH OF THE DAY: Team Secret vs OG
Date: Friday, June 12th @ 19:30 CEST

We’ve got a heavyweight matchup on our hands in the upper bracket finals of the Dota 2 BLAST Bounty Hunt tournament. OG vs Secret is arguably the biggest match that we can get right now that matches have been relegated to online only. The former are two-time TI champions, and although they’re playing with a relatively new roster, the fact remains that they are the team to beat unless otherwise stated. On the other hand, the latter are their closest competition right now. With the addition of TI7 champion Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen over the offseason, the already-dominant Team Secret have only gotten better, and they’ve got results to show for it. They’ve won 3 straight online tournaments so far, with an 86.67% win percentage over their last 75 games.

To put simply, OG have their work cut out for them. We better hope that we see more of OG vs Team Secret this season because one could argue that this is sort of a TI10 finals preview. I don’t want to jinx it, but I feel like this year is Clement “Puppey” Ivanov’s best chance to make it back to the Grand Finals of a TI once again. Meanwhile, who’s to say that OG won’t make a deep run again? We already know better than to count them out, and a new roster has never really deterred them from winning a TI just months after forming. With arguably the most skilled lineup of players at his disposal — OG have 3 players that have hit 10K MMR at some point during their careers, with Topias Miikka “Topson” Taavitsainen capable of doing so if he ever wanted — Johan “N0tail” Sundstein could very well cement himself as the best Dota 2 captain ever with a third straight TI win (on top of 4 Valve Majors).

To do that though, they’ll have to prove that they can beat Team Secret. Luckily, it’s not like they haven’t done so before. Of the handful of losses that Team Secret have suffered over the past two months, one of those came at the hands of OG, and it included an 18-7 drubbing in a game that lasted no longer than 18 minutes and some change. The odds are still stacked against OG here, both literally and figuratively. OG might be two-time TI champions, but they’re playing with a new roster and are still working on some kinks on integrating Topson into their lineup after the eccentric mid laner was stuck on the other side of the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their opponents, Team Secret, are ruthless, methodical, and cold-hearted. Team Secret have mastered multiple playstyles, know how to control the tempo, and can close out games, as well as squeeze out wins with their backs against the proverbial wall.

They’ve also got one of the few players in the world who could literally win games on his own in Michał “Nisha” Jankowski. To say that this series could easily go Team Secret’s win is tempting, but I feel that OG would want to prove themselves here. Although this isn’t to say that I believe that they’re going to win, I do see this series, which could very well end up being a Grand Finals preview, going the full mile and with OG taking one map for sure. Their 2-0 win vs Alliance is proof that they can do it.

[DOTA 2] Another perfect 2/2 day yesterday. Day 2 of BLAST Bounty Hunt went surprisingly well for me, my bets and some teams. We saw matches in the upper bracket round 2, it’s now time for the day 3 of the event. On the day 3 we will watch 2 matches from the lower bracket round 1, which means 2 teams will be out of the tournament on Thursday.

Team Nigma - Ninja in Pyjamas: Team Nigma -1.5, 1.97 @ MY BETSLIP
Alliance - Team Liquid: Alliance ML, 1.54 @ MY BETSLIP

MATCH: TEAM NIGMA VS NINJAS IN PYJAMAS
Date: Thursday, June 11th @ 16:30 CEST

Nigma showed that vs Team Liquid and vs Team Secret they are one of the top candidates to take this tournament home. Nigma beat Liquid with 2-1, and they’ve shown Secret that they are not unbeatable. They’ve lost to Secret with 1-2, but they had a decent advantage in game 1 and they’ve lost it, but they’ve won game 2 in the end. But they were so close to beating Team Secret. NiP was crushed by Alliance with 0-2 in the round 1 of the event, and I don’t think they have a chance vs Team Nigma. Nigma is playing better and better and they are surely the favourites to take this series and to advance to the round 2 of the lower bracket. Nigma and NiP played 1 time in the last 1 month or so, and in that match NiP was victorious. However, Nigma is rising in form, and they are surely one of the top teams in Europe right now. They can beat anybody, well mostly, except Team Secret. If they show their play and skills like vs Liquid and Secret, they should not have any bigger problems vs NiP. Nigma should win this match by all margins. 2-0 Nigma very risky bet!

MATCH: ALLIANCE VS TEAM LIQUID
Date: Thursday, June 11th @ 19:30 CEST

Alliance is on fire lately. However, OG crushed them on the day 2 of this event. OG was the better team in all segments of the game there and they deserved to advance on. Now, Alliance needs to play vs Team Liquid in the lower bracket of the event, which means after this match one team will be eliminated. They crushed NiP with 2-0 in the round 1 of the winners bracket, while Team Liquid lost to pretty strong Team Nigma. Alliance played vs Liquid 3 times in the last 1 month. Alliance won 1 time, while Liquid took 2 series off Alliance. However, Alliance is recently in a much better form than Liquid. Their top 2 placement in the ESL One Birmingham shows that. I surely think that Alliance is one of the best European teams right now, and they are much better than Team Liquid. Alliance recently took down all the best teams in Europe, while Liquid is struggling from match to match. If we will watch old Alliance from the ESL One, we could see another easy win for them. But if they would play like vs OG, Liquid has a chance. Overall, Alliance is my favourite in this match, and they should be able to beat Liquid.

[CS:GO] My picks for today:

NaVi Junior - Hard Legion: NaVi Junior ML, 1.59 @ MY BETSLIP
Vitality - Ninjas In Pyjamas: Vitality, ML, 1.51 @ MY BETSLIP

Juniors never lost to Hard Legion. It should be a close match but with a Juniors win. Vitality is in good shape, even tho they always lose first map, and somehow they always get back to the match and win it 2-1. We will see how ZyWoO will perform vs NiP.

[DOTA 2] Day 1 of BLAST Bounty Hunt went as I expected. With both favourites winning their matches in the upper bracket round 1, it’s now time for the day 2 of the event. On the day 2 we will watch 2 matches from the upper bracket round 2.

Team Secret - Team Nigma: Nigma +1.5, 2.03 @ MY BETSLIP
OG - Alliance: OG +1.5, 1.47 @ MY BETSLIP

MATCH: TEAM NIGMA VS TEAM LIQUID

Date: Wednesday, June 10th @ 16:30 CEST

This has become such a classic match nowadays. Team Secret is the most dominant team in Europe right now, and as such they are starting this tournament as top 2 seed, placed in the round 2 directly. Team Nigma needed to fight their way over Team Liquid on Tuesday. And they’ve done it in a nice way. They have won vs Team Liquid with 2-1, but both game 1 and game 3 were really up and front for Kuroky and his boys. Basically they’ve crushed Team Liquid who played with their full lineup, compared to their last match where Liquid played with a standin (got 2-0’ed by Nigma). Secret and Nigma have had a very rich Dota 2 history lately, especially in the last 1 month or so. They’ve played 3 times, and all 3 times Nigma lost to Secret. Two times they’ve lost with 0-2, while a few days ago they’ve managed to take a map off Secret in the ESL One Birmingham losers bracket finals. Secret is known lately as a team who can rarely make mistakes. We still remember their loss vs Unique and Alliance in ESL One, and Nigma did make their road to the ESL One championship slightly harder by bringing them to all 3 maps in their clash. I think that Nigma is slowly catching their form and they are playing better and better. They ended up their ESL One road on a decent note, and they’ve started up this tournament with a nice win over a pretty strong team. I don’t think they are yet ready to beat Team Secret, but they can surely surprise Team Secret by taking a map off them. That’s for sure. But it’s a big risk. If you find good odds (1.30+), maybe go for the safest option and that is Team Secret ML win, otherwise take a small risk and go for one of the handicaps. My pick is +1.5 handicap on Nigma, I do think they can take a map off Secret again.

MATCH: OG VS ALLIANCE

Date: Wednesday, June 10th @ 19:30 CEST

Strangely enough, tournament organizers decided that together with Team Secret OG will be put as the top seed team too. And that means that they are starting from the round 2, same as the Team Secret. I’m not sure why that decision was made, since OG didn’t show much in the ESL One Birmingham Online tournament as they’ve ended in 7th place in their group. OG is playing this tournament in full lineup together with Topson and MidOne. In their last tournament, we saw that Topson is completely out of form. He didn’t play Dota for a while it seems so. Their last official match was 10 days ago, on May 31st. And it was against the Alliance, a ESL One group stage match which they’ve lost with 0-2. Interestingly enough, they are on a 5 match losing streak. They had 10 free days now, hopefully they’ve used them to recuperate and I do hope they are ready for the new tournament. With OG, you never know as you can never write them off. Even though they are in terrible form lately, they have such strong players, one of the best captains in Dota and they have a winning mentality, that I believe they can come back from that death pool of losses. Alliance won Liquid with 2-1 on the day 1 of this tournament, and they’ve shown again that they are in amazing form. It’s really enjoyable to watch Alliance play nowadays, as Nikobaby is just a pure class of a player. Sumail vs Nikobaby, this will be a really sick clash. Alliance ML bet is probably the safest one, odds are low on Alliance win, but I’ll rather pick a more dangerous road. My picks here would be OG taking at least 1 map as I would love to see 3 maps here. And hey, it’s OG here, you never know what will happen. They will get demolished by Alliance really hard or they will show some signs of improvement from the last tournament.

[DOTA 2] CS:GO tournament organizer BLAST revealed their unexpected foray into Dota 2, with plans unveiled to host a $145,000 online tournament called BLAST Bounty Hunt from June 9 to 13. Let’s analyse day 1 matches.

Team Liquid - Team Nigma: Team Nigma ML, 1.47 @ MY BETSLIP
Alliance - Ninja in Pyjamas: Alliance ML, 1.38 @ MY BETSLIP

MATCH: TEAM NIGMA VS TEAM LIQUID
Date: Tuesday, June 9th @ 16:30 CEST

Team Liquid will have a chance for the rematch here. When Team Nigma is at its best, it’s capable of winning anything, including The International. It’s also entirely possible that Nigma will completely flop at any given event. The team looked weak at ESL One Los Angeles and the WePlay! Pushka League, and finished last in Gamers Without Borders. What’s the cause of this inconsistency? That’s unclear. It isn’t a matter of substitutes, as Nigma will bring the same roster they always do to BLAST Bounty Hunt. While Team Nigma has been inconsistent, Team Liquid has been predictably good. But not quite great. The team has posted solid results in most of the events it has competed in, but hasn’t won anything this season.Liquid placed in the top six at both majors and has posted solid placements in most of the leagues it has taken part in this season, including second place at OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online and third in the WePlay! Pushka League. Liquid has proven it’s capable of getting wins over formidable opponents, but it may face a stiffer test in Team Nigma. Liquid and Nigma actually just finished up playing against one another in the playoffs of ESL One Birmingham. Nigma came out on top of their showdown 2-0, taking lopsided wins on both maps. This also put Nigma ahead in the teams’ overall head-to-head matchup history 4-3. The betting odds reflect that, with Nigma standing as a favourite in this match, while Team Liquid is a slight underdog here because of their recent match history. Given the fact that Nigma is far more credentialed than Liquid and is coming off a decisive win over their former organisation, choosing Nigma here looks to be a serious value.

MATCH: ALLIANCE VS NINJAS IN PYJAMAS
Date: Tuesday, June 9th @ 19:30 CEST

Alliance and Ninjas in Pyjamas have pretty big Dota 2 history. There is a big rivalry between those two esport organizations, especially in Dota. In the last month, those two teams played 2 times and both teams have one win. Even though NiP was the team that took a win over Alliance 15 days ago in the  ESL One Birmingham. Somehow it feels like that NiP is always performing good vs teams like Alliance. Even though NiP’s match history doesn’t look good, as they were losing their matches vs teams like FlyToMoon, Cyber Legacy and VP.Prodigy. NiP was one team that Alliance lost to in the ESL One group stage, but Alliance is the only team that managed to take a series of Team Secret in the ESL One playoffs. Alliance had a 7 match win streak before Secret crushed them 3-0 in the ESL One grand finals. And based on their currently amazing form they are the favourites here. Their position 1 player Nikobaby is playing the best Dota of his life and he is always the player that pushes Alliance to their victory. On the other side, their standin position 5 player fng is doing better and better, and in ESL One he didn’t disappoint like in their previous tournaments. NiP is a very strong Dota 2 squad, with a lot of potential, and I don’t think Alliance should be so big favourites in this match. Based on their match history, NiP surely could take a map here or even make an upset even, even though odds for something like that are extremely low if you ask me. The safest bet would be to go for Alliance win. They are a better and more stable squad in the last days and they should take this match. I just think that NiP won’t have an answer on Nikobaby’s carry capabilities.

GL all!

[DOTA 2] ESL One Birmingham 2020 - Online: Europe & CIS lower bracket finals:

VP.Prodigy - Team Secret: Team Secret -1.5, 1.57 @ MY BETSLIP

VP.Prodigy never beat Team Secret, and they have never took a map off Team Secret. They've played 2 matches (2-0 and 3-0 for Secret). Looks like Secret is doing pretty good against CIS teams, while VP.Prodigy is struggling against EU squads. This should be easy Secret win. Hopefully, we don't see any upsets here. Handicap for Secret for me.

Nigma didn't seem to turn up for the secret game. They (Secret) got it by default after waiting 20 mins.

But its showing up as voided in my bets.

Yea map 1 was walkover for Team Secret. A free win. 2nd map won by Nigma. 3rd by Team Secret. Some sportsbooks graded this normally, some not, depends on their rulebook.

I think is quite not fair that Nigma gets to play only two maps (technically) and lost the game, they could have cause an upset, really.

I know for fact that the ML bet was graded null and void on Stake and it's graded as a win on 1xbet (please note: I'm not recommending 1xbet)

The truth is that there's nothing anyone can do about how these sport books decide to settle bets in this kind of situations.

@Rand1919 how was the bet settled on your sportbook ? And nice streak you've got today...

Yea, sadly there is nothing you can do in those kind of situations.

My site graded this match normally, they've just cancelled map 1 bets as far as i've seen.

[DOTA 2] We are coming to the last 3 days of the event. Friday is the day for another 2 amazing matches. Upper bracket finals and lower bracket round 3 match. 4 teams left. Let’s see who has the more chance to make it to the grand finals.

Team Secret - Team Nigma: Team Nigma 1.5, 1.95 @ MY BETSLIP
Alliance - VP.Prodigy: Alliance ML, 1.85 @ MY BETSLIP

MATCH: TEAM SECRET VS TEAM NIGMA
Date: Friday, June 5th @ 16:00 CEST

Let’s be honest here. Team Secret is showing the best performance in this tournament, and I do think they will end up in the grand finals and eventually win the whole event. The best two teams from group A are facing each other now. Both Secret and Nigma had an almost perfect group stage run. Team Secret already beat Nigma in the group stage with 2-0. And that was the only loss that Nigma has from the groups. Secret lost to Alliance with 1-2 to drop to the lower bracket, and now they need to fight for their lives. This is a do or die for both teams, the loser is going home, and will face VP.Prodigy / Alliance in the losers bracket finals. In their last match Secret won against FlyToMoon 2-0, while Nigma demolished Liquid with 2-0. I do think that Nigma is in the top 2 teams that are playing the best Dota in this tournament, however best Dota doesn’t mean a win always. If you can find a decent ML odds on Team Secret (1.30 maybe), go with that, that’s the safest bet. Again, handicap -1.5 on Team Secret has lower odds then Nigma +1.5, and again I’m struggling what to pick. But I do think eventually someone can take a map off Secret or even beat them like Alliance, and Nigma showed really cool plays. Even if they lost to them in the group stage without taking a map, I do think they can take a map here. Of course it’s a big gamble.

MATCH: ALLIANCE VS VP.PRODIGY
Date: Friday, June 5th @ 19:00 CEST

Alliance seems like in great shape recently or at least in this tournament. Even though they had a worse score then VP.Prodigy in the group stage, they are doing amazingly in the playoffs, and they took down the best team in Europe, Team Secret. That must be a big plus for them. VP.Prodigy however did beat Nigma, so that kinda evens up the score. Their match history is not long as they had 2 official matches. First match went to VP.Prodigy’s side, while Alliance beat VP.Prodigy in their most recent match, 5 days ago. This is funny, as this is another match where we will see 1st and 2nd ranked teams from the same group face each other in the playoffs of the same tournament. Alliance is on the 6 match win streak, while VP.Prodigy lost only to Alliance recently. Their last loss (not including Alliance) was on May 15th vs their main squad. They are doing amazingly too. I do think this will be another close match, maybe 3 map match. I’m giving a slight advantage to Alliance, since they’ve beat VP.Prodigy with 2-0 result five days ago in the same tournament. They surely can do it again. Odds are amazing on Alliance ML.

GL all! Hope you can find good odds!
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: June 04, 2020, 10:41:36 PM
Sadly, you will need to wait until 2021, since Dota 2 The International 10 is moved to 2021 due to COVID-19.  Embarrassed
Yeahh, but maybe if it's true that when The International 10 starts, Ana will be ready to play with OG and make the tournament become more interesting.
Especially if there will be more shocking things like IO carry in the last TI  Grin.

I just hope TI 10 will be more interesting than Majors and these recent online tournaments.
Ana might go back to OG unexpectedly but who's the player that he will replace? MidOne and Sumail will go offlane or it's Sumail and Ana will go back as their safe lane. We don't know but this what Ana did for two consecutive TIs. It was never expected by us that he will appear just only for TI.

It's a decent pay check for him and part time whenever the TI goes near. There are rumors that there might be a two TI for 2021, who knows but next year is going to be full of surprises right?  Smiley

Problem is just that OG doesn't care for other tournaments then The International. Just like last season, they were doing really bad, but they've managed to gather enough DPC points to qualify for The International. That's what matters for them, and they have won it. They are showing up when matters. Plus their players are out of form, since there are not "real" LAN events or anything going on, just small online tournaments with not big prize pools. They are full of money, they don't need 50.000$ tournament win.  Grin

They will show up for sure when it will be needed.

It's impossible that in 2021 we will see 2 The International events. The International is like Dota 2 World Championship. Do you see 2 World championships in football or any other sport?  Grin Plus there is no time for that since season is very stacked with tournaments and LANs and new DPC format was just announced, so I 100% sure 2 TI's wont happen.

[DOTA 2] Day 2 of the ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online: Europe & CIS playoffs was really exciting. We watched all 3 maps in both series and we saw one big surprise. Let’s see what awaits us on Thursday.

Team Secret - FlyToMoon: FlyToMoon 1.5, 2.36 @ MY BETSLIP
Team Nigma - Team Liquid: Team Nigma, 1.78 @ MY BETSLIP

MATCH: TEAM SECRET VS FLYTOMOON
Date: Thursday, June 4th @ 16:00 CEST

Team Secret had a pretty hard match on Wednesday in the upper bracket round 1 vs Alliance. Team Secret started perfectly with a quick 20 minute map 1 win over Alliance, but in the next two maps they struggled so hard, and Alliance managed to bring those maps in their favour. Shocking win for Alliance over Team Secret. I guess very few people believed that Alliance could win against Team Secret, the strongest and most dominant team in Europe right now. But that’s online Dota. FlyToMoon secured their opportunity to battle vs Team Secret with a 2-0 win over Vikin.gg in the lower bracket round 1. FlyToMoon is another team that is doing really good as they are on the 5 match win streak. In their last 5 matches they didn’t lose a single map, as they have a 10-0 score in maps. However, this is most probably one of the harder challenges that they could have right now. Team Secret showed that they are vulnerable in yesterday’s match vs Alliance and their loss vs Team Unique a few days back. FlyToMoon has all the tools to take Secret down in this situation. They need to learn from their previous matches and take Secret by surprise. Even though Team Secret are big favourites here and will probably take the match in the end, I would give a chance to FlyToMoon. Team Secret is obviously shaken, and if Alliance took 2 maps off them, FlyToMoon can make a surprise too. Odds on FlyToMoon handicap are sick, and I do believe they can take a map off strong Secret. After watching Team Secret yesterday vs Alliance, -1.5 on Secret is just too risky compared to the small return it can bring.

MATCH: TEAM LIQUID VS TEAM NIGMA
Date: Thursday, June 4th @ 19:00 CEST

Nigma showed amazing performance in the group stage. With 6 wins and 1 loss they’ve finished in 2nd place in the group, right behind Team Secret. Sadly, they didn’t manage to surprise VP.Prodigy in upper bracket round 1. Nigma was an underdog in that match, and they were even on the first 2 maps vs VP.Prodigy. However, even though they started good on map 3, their lineup was not strong enough for VP.Prodigy’s late game. They have dropped to the lower bracket now, where they need to face Team Liquid. Let’s just remind ourselves that Liquid and Nigma faced each other in the group stage of this tournament. Nigma took that match with 2-1 result. I would give Nigma a slight edge here. Liquid is pretty strong too right now, but I think Nigma is showing a little bit more in this tournament. They are favourites in my head in this match too and I believe they should take it. Team Nigma ML should be a good bet here with decent odds. Hopefully, Nigma’s today loss vs VP.Prodigy won’t affect them on Thursday vs their deciding match. Let’s keep in mind, this is a lower bracket. Loser is eliminated and the winner will face the winner of Secret / FTM in the next round of the lower bracket. This is Nigma’s chance to prove that their previous tournament runs are forgotten. They can win this on their experience and if w33 won’t make so many mistakes like in their match vs VP.Prodigy.

Very risky bets and tournament! Same like yesterday's, Secret 1.10 odds and loosing.
