https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/markets/stocks/news/bitcoin-indicator-flashes-a-sell-signal-as-slump-accelerates/articleshow/69659003.cms

As euphoria over cryptocurrencies deflates in the wake of Bitcoin’s biggest monthly surge in almost two years, technical indicators are showing there could be more pain ahead.

The GTI Vera Convergence-Divergence indicator, which detects positive and negative trends, flashed a sell signal for the first time since April, suggesting there could be further downside as Bitcoin halts its recent monster rally.

Most of the top 20 cryptocurrencies are reporting moderate losses on the day by press time, as Bitcoin (BTC) holds over the $7,800 mark.

Bitcoin is down over 2% on the day, trading at $7,820 at press time, according to CoinMarketCap. Looking at its weekly chart, the coin is down over 10.6%.

Bloomberg reported yesterday that bitcoin could be currently showing signs of an incoming reversal.

23  Other / Politics & Society / Republican and Democratic senators seek to block Trump Saudi arms sales on: June 05, 2019, 04:05:01 PM
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-saudi-arms/republican-democratic-senators-seek-to-block-trump-saudi-arms-sales-idUSKCN1T61PL

Republican and Democratic U.S. senators said that they would try to pass 22 separate joint resolutions that, if passed, would block President Donald Trump’s plan to complete $8 billion in military sales to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates without congressional review.

The announcement followed furious rejection in Congress late last month of the Trump administration’s declaration that a growing threat from Iran was an emergency that forced it to sidestep lawmakers’ review of major arms deals and approve precision-guided munitions, aircraft engines, mortars and other equipment and services for Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Lebanon.

"We are taking this step today to show that we will not stand idly by and allow the President or the Secretary of State to further erode Congressional review and oversight of arm sales".
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: June 05, 2019, 03:34:54 PM
we all know that Bitcoin is the best crypto right now.
and many people argue that Bitcoin is the main crypto that greatly affects the crypto market.
my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto and what do you think can make Bitcoin die?

Bitcoin may not actually die, and this is just another attempt to play it when it crashes. After all, in the past, Bitcoin has been declared dead many times.
25  Local / India / Re: Indian Govt Planning Ban on Crypto on: June 05, 2019, 03:18:05 PM
India is a country that can benefit a lot from cryptocurrencies, but the country's central bank has sought to end all trading activities. It also prevents smaller local banks from doing business with cryptocurrency companies. This has greatly hindered the innovation and technological development of the country.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: June 05, 2019, 03:07:57 PM
Bitcoin won't be a leading currency because banks and government will disrupt it. We all know that banks and government have increased regulation for the cryptocurrency.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: June 05, 2019, 02:58:19 PM
I won't. I'll let them do their own research how risky and rewarding Bitcoin is and let them decide whether to invest in bitcoin or not.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc has no value on: June 05, 2019, 02:12:42 PM
When btc will be replacing money in terms of salary

The total amount of Bitcoin is limited and its price volatility makes it difficult to replace fiat.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: June 05, 2019, 02:09:14 PM
Decentralization. Everyone is talking about it. Can cryptocurrency lead to the disappearance of banks. Or will banks be able to adjust and remain in power?

It is difficult to say that cryptocurrency can lead to disappearance of banks when technology behind cryptocurrency is still in the early stages of development, and most of the bank's business requires more advanced technology.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies on: June 05, 2019, 06:46:07 AM
With cryptocurrencies we control our own deal , we can easily make it to the top , yes it does have negative times and is risky but let's be honest , who doesn't ? Even dollar was going down !
But it also gives rewards like no other.

There are billions of individuals on the planet who don't approach banks. Banks don't serve them on the grounds that the foundation is excessively costly and it's not gainful to assemble tasks. The billions of unbanked population needs Bitcoin.
31  Bitcoin / Press / [2019-06-05] Gold Can’t Compete With Bitcoin as Form of Money on: June 05, 2019, 06:25:03 AM

When it comes to recognition as "money" and a "store of value", Bitcoin out-competes gold on its practicality and versatility, said Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN

I could not take enough gold out of the country for it to be useful to me if I had to leave the country; if I was a South Korean and I thought the North was going to drop a bomb on my city, if I was an Iranian that was running away from people in Iran. There are all sorts of reasons why I would want to take a lot of money abroad. I can’t take more than $10,000. In gold, I can’t carry enough, it’s too heavy. I can’t take, say, 20 kilos of gold to the airport.
