Hi

I was a Supernet holder.
It has been a long time I checked this community.
What has happened with Supernet? What has Komodo to do with it?

Thanks for your help

Hi

What is the fastest way to sync on Mac OSX?
I seems to take ages.
Monerod has been running for quite some time and still +850 days behind...

Thanks

Can you post your hardware specs and version of OSX? Are you using an SSD?

there has been discussion further above.

try something like this:

Quote
bitmonerod --out-peers 1 --p2p-bind-ip 127.0.0.1 --db-sync-mode fast:async:1000

just copy and paste this command in the terminal?

yep

Doesn't seem to really speed up?

New to Monero.
It seems to take ages to get synced with the blockchain on OSX.
How do I get the blockchain.raw file imported?

This coin is going nowhere with any of Silks guidance.  Our only hope for this coin would be someone completely buying out the idea.  I don't think Silk knows much, or anything at all about business.  I offered to fix the site for free on multiple occasions but this dumbass is too preoccupied to even email me back.  We have the shittiest exchanges imaginable, with no effort on Silk's part to expand.  I'm done, I give up.  Thank you Silk for wasting hundreds of my dollars.  I know some people here are trying to boost the morale to protect their investment, but its done.  This is going nowhere.  Sell your coins and get out while you can.  SILK WILL NEVER BE A SUCCESSFUL LEADER OF THIS PROJECT!

I saw your PM. I wrote earlier that I bring to the project in the hands of young guy who will direct the project, more than 70% of the code was studied. Now he is studying compiling windows clients, most likely in early 2016 a project will be fully under his leadership. Yes I admit that I'm not a good leader, I am well programmed , but the community needs a good leader who will know and the software code, I hope my assistant. I think the community will find him a good language.

Ok and what about the banking partner? Are you still interested?
And your million dollar investors?
Why did you stop the conversation on Skype?

Best regards

Open the online wallet, there you can see what kind of OS people are using
and so far I can see there are also Mac users.

Is the online wallet secure?
Seems for me secure. I'm running also the block chain
for approx. one month and didn't had any problems.
The security issue lays in the unsecured http connection, so your data will be send unsecured..
But devs announced that this will change in the future and that a ssl-connection will be possible. As for now if you want to be secure, just use your local client.
Or the possibility of an ssh connection tunnel (someone explained that somewhere in this thread).

I asked this because my Mac client isn't working anymore and nobody seems to have an answer for this....
