3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: M3X Hashboard Problem on: July 20, 2019, 07:05:51 AM
Already swapped hashboards and had same issue. Its a connect loose for sure, M3X's are unstable and restarts randomly for some reasons when it restarts there is a low chance that hashboard will work. Have been 2 days without working and today it restarted and started working, giving same ths like other boards.

Connect cable is stuck and cannot be removed.

Hello,

What is data bridge in hashboard?
Is this one https://pangolinminer.com/product/miner-hashboard-connect-cable-m3-m3x/ ?
5  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: M3X Hashboard Problem on: July 13, 2019, 11:30:57 PM
Thank you for the help

Miner restarted automatically and all hashboards started working. It's a connect loose but I don't know how to deal with it!
6  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: M3X Hashboard Problem on: July 12, 2019, 04:12:28 PM
I swapped to SM0/1/2 it was 0 ghsav. I tried it alone still same issue. Removed it and added other boards, other boards started working normally.

I have another M3X, can I try with that one or its dead?
7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: M3X Hashboard Problem on: July 11, 2019, 11:55:59 PM
Have you tried to reset the miner?

Try this method hold the IP reporter/reset button for 15-20 seconds then after that access the IP again and set the pool properly make sure no extra character or space.  Then test it again.

More guides and troubleshooting guide from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3322593

I have done it multiple times but same issue.

Link does not help. I have clean up all hashboards and PSU also and same thing.

This issue happened 3-4 weeks ago but after cleansing, the board started working.

Also try swapping board positions. Be careful when handling MicroBT devices, as they can be quite delicate. I don't know if the M3x also uses the (data) "connection bridge" as the M10...

I swapped, before was SM1 with problem and now is SM2 so it's hashboard fault not control board or something. But it doesn't result as "Dead" in Status and board is hot.
8  Bitcoin / Mining support / M3X Hashboard Problem on: July 11, 2019, 04:01:29 PM
Hello,

Today one of hashboard M3X is not working, status of device is Alive but GHSav is 0.00..
First when it was not working with one restart it started again but now its not.

Also hashboard is hot, frequeency(avg) is 192, EffectiveChips 0, Temp1 32.00, Temp2 0.00

When an hashboard is dead, will it be "Dead" status?
Contacted seller and he told me is connect loose so I must re-plug control board but still is not working.

Please if someone can help me, I will really appreciate it. Please let me know if is needed more info!
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Miner Avalon 741 Problem on: June 05, 2019, 09:00:56 AM
So you think it's bad ? You still will get paid by NiceHash, right? I have downloaded firmware from Canaan Official site.
10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Miner Avalon 741 Problem on: June 05, 2019, 06:50:20 AM
Problem with this miner was that can't mine on NiceHash.

I have updated firmware that supports NH but same issue.

Hello.

Today I bought a Avalon 741 with controller. It restarts after 5-6 minutes, I have disabled firewall but same.

That gives us nothing to work with. Where the seller lives and country of origin means nothing....
WHO is the seller or what is the company name you are asking about?

GZ Woao Trad e Co., Ltd. BTC LTC DASH ETH MINER - from Aliexpress.

do you mean pangolinminer.com ?

I have purchased over 10000 USD in gear from them.

they should be good for you.

they have a telegram  site if you go to the website you can look for telegram link and ask what used miners they have.

https://pangolinminer.com/

this should get you into telegram

https://telegram.me/PangolinMinerOfficial

I post on the channel at times.

It's not Pangolinminer... It's a seller on Aliexpress.

I know about pangolinminer.com it's good price but it's pre-order and can't wait till August/September to start mining.

Seller origin was from Singapore, product was from HK. Its trusted ?
14  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Does worth mining with used S9s? on: May 08, 2019, 03:06:27 AM
No, here don't have any restriction for mining. I have a problem, I ask them to buy 1 unit and after I will buy more... it's because I don't trust anyone who sells second hand miners. Also shipping is too high.

However I've found now M3X for 230usd (inc. p5 psu&shipping)..M3X have high power consumation but for start isn't good?

Thank you so much for all.

But 200$ it's impossible...

In my country I can't buy even a M3 / M3X with 200$... I talked with a seller in Alibaba to buy some miners and shipping was 190$ DHL/Fedex.

I wish you good luck with those new s9j's

What is wrong with new S9j's?
17  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Does worth mining with used S9s? on: May 07, 2019, 08:48:45 PM
Most of second hand miners are supplied by Chinese and As the BTC price rises they increase the price. Today I inquiry from China for 20 second hand, S9s  , 13.5 TH (30 days warranty remains) including psu for 246 $ without shipping cost.

You can buy that it's too cheap but are those used units strong ? No.

Everywhere Alibaba Aliexpress eBay etc. I've asked sellers about lifespan of an used S9s and their response was "if you run it 24/7 it will be dead after 6 months."

So buying used S9s cannot calculate profits, they say 6 months but it may be dead after few weeks, who knows.

... OffordScott is good.

He has a link here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5138318.0

he also has telegram channel.

on telegram.

I do not trust him, what I see he have sold many miners but no one have rated him here, that's why I do not trust also his personal website is a joke not from a professional.

One big enough to handle the amount of power you are using. That in turn depends on your power line voltage, if using 208v then the 40kw you mentioned = 192.3amps feeding the circuit breaker panel. That gets split up depending on how much power each individual miners uses. For s9 and such (around 1,250w each) you can use a 15A outlet to power 2 miners.

You need to work with a licensed electrician to get the proper power outlets and circuit breakers wired per your area codes. If you do not do this for a living DO NOT just follow internet opinions about wiring. The risk of electrocution or fire is too great.

I've asked a electrican and he told me for that power it's needed a cable 35kV, cost is very high for 35kV in my country. He told me may cost 3-5kEur.

What power cable is needed for 48 miners?
19  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Does worth mining with used S9s? on: May 06, 2019, 11:04:17 PM
If you underclock them with Braiins OS you can even add more of them. By raising efficiency you can easily lower that consumption to under 820w each (@10T)... You could put 48 S9s, maybe some more if a few have damaged boards.

480THs vs 390THs using the same 40kW...

Make sure you check more sellers, i have seen S9s at $150 each...

PLUS, under-clocking tends to make them run cooler and last longer.

Thank you for this idea it was really helpful.

150$ S9s? Please do you have any link or contact? All what I've found it's 385usd per unit.

Have you tried to check this site https://www.asicminervalue.com/

You can see all profitable ASIC machines if you are not paying on electricity bill then this is a good choice and Im sure you will make more profit than buying a 2nd s9.

This is just a suggestion because there's no guarantee that the 2nd hand s9 will live long in mining.

I use that site but problem is where I can buy...

Official sites are out-of-stock, vendors there are completely scam. I have bought on cryptouniverse.at this Sunday and still Processing, I dunno if it's scam or out-of-business.. anyway I will see.
