2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stablecoins Promote the Mass Adoption of Cryptocurrencies? on: January 24, 2020, 07:42:47 PM
Well, sable coins build on ethereum or btc blockchain can't really attain mass adoption. However if governments and top organization create sable coins, true mass adoption is possible. Libra will be a good example. with the Calibra wallet connected to various social applications used by billions of people mass adoption will happen soon and quick.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: January 24, 2020, 07:25:59 PM
For Long term, it is not a bad idea. I think majority of ones portfolio should be in BTC though. A little percentage can be in alts coins.

BTC contro;ls the market so basically is it lesser risk.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: January 24, 2020, 07:17:26 PM
The thing about alt coins is, they dip more in beaish periods and moon more in bullish market is a two edged sword.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 06:49:00 PM
Better in terms of speed and technology, YES, of course. It is possible and they are plenty of those out there. But bigger than BTC in terms of Market Capitalization is near to impossible. My opinion though.

Displacing Bitcoin from Number 1 is only possible if Governments of top countries develop and use fiat based cryptocurrencies.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 24, 2020, 06:43:44 PM
I dont except people to still fall for pyramid schemes. Ponzis aren't hard to spot. With through research you can tell if an investment scheme is ponzi or not, it doesntt matter how hard they try to cover it. Newbies don't take time to research and that's where the problems lies.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 of the best Binance alternatives on: January 24, 2020, 06:38:48 PM
Okex, Gate, Houbi are actually very good. I think Bithumb and bitfinex should be on the list anyways.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some exchanges charges are too high on: January 24, 2020, 10:55:52 AM
When making withdrawals from exchanges, I avoid BTC at all cost. It is usually above $8 by default.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: January 24, 2020, 07:23:25 AM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

I think it is:

1)
Lack of exposure and proper understanding about cryptocurrency in general. Scammers can tell them anything and they will believe.

2)
Laziness and urge to make easy money withput putting the work by doing proper research

3)
Most importantly, it is greed! They see investment opportunities that are too good to be true and still go ahead because of Greed. Greed Kills
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 07:16:43 AM
Are they still people in this space that believe there is a "Next Bitcoin"? . There is no next Bitcoin. Binance have a great ecosystem with tremendous potentials. But displacing Bitcoin on CMC is near to impossible
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: January 24, 2020, 06:13:19 AM
Aside from monetary incentives in crypto, I rarely come across discussions pertaining to why the average enthusiast in crypto is involved with crypto. While the answer may be pretty straightforward, there are some outliers.

Crypto means much more than just monetary incentives, it's essentially a technical revolution that has involved the masses, something you and I can be apart of. Ultimately, that's probably one of my greatest interests for blockchain and crypto. Another big intrigue for me is the evolution of blockchain tech in itself. I've been around for quite sometime and have witnessed the evolution of cryptos, businesses, behaviors and attitudes.

These 2 factors, along with several others, are the reasons I continue to be involved on a community and business level with crypto. It's become a hobby, passion and business for me.

The decentralization that comes with BTC drew my attention, apart of the finicial opportunities in the BTC price movement of course.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum set new High in this Year on: January 24, 2020, 06:03:58 AM
Ethereum is About to set new high in this year . Most of the new and previos Projects are on the ETH platform.

I think Etereum will remain the main platform for dApps. It is still the preferred choice for developers. It will surely remain in Number 2 spot on CMC for a very long time
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 03:33:10 PM
The less people owns one Bitcoin, the better for btc price. When BTC gets to $100,000. The number will reduce

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As expected THE LIAR, CLOWN 'John McAfee' backs down from $1M claim on: January 23, 2020, 01:10:50 PM
Once upton a time, if John McAfee tweets about a coin, the token/coin moons. He loss relevance really fast because of tweets and predictions like. Now no one listens to him.

His $1m Bitcoin claim and many of his predictions are just talks not backed by any TA or analysis. I would have loved to see it come true though

Thank God he was honest anyway
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving: Does it places an important role in the crypto market or not? on: January 22, 2020, 09:48:33 AM
Halving plays a very important role in the bitcoin community. Firstly, it has a huge psychological effect on price. Bitcoin gets scarers and it is expected that in the long term the it will have a positive effect on price.

It also further goes to show the superiority of bitcoin over fiat currencies, unlike fiat currencies, that prints more notes yearly, bitcoin mines fewer coins every 4years.
