Just added another SP10 for my order...
Reason for my purchase is purely thinking about summer and heat issues... Frankly I believe SP10 will handle the hot weather better...
Bring the price down to $2,700 I will order 4 more instantly :-) and possibly more if I can sell my kidney.

How we just the hardware on their merits, rather than who ships first?
I think everyone agrees that SP10 is a superior machine, but they did start selling at a very premium price which was a big disadvantage.
Bitmain on the other hand had a great little product called S1, it was great way to introduce amateur miners like me into BTC mining. S2, sounded like a great idea initially until I have seen all of the images of the damaged boards however saying that my S2s did arrive in one piece and did hash (after checking the each board was connected).
In my opinion both products will appeal to different people, all I am saying is that do not be a fan boy and have a blind faith to a manufacturer who is reaping most of the benefits, while you get a machine that might turn profit for you.
I think I might need to offer a 0.1 BTC bounty (I am poor at the moment) whom ever can write can the best comparison for both products.

Hello comrades...
It seems that there is a hot topic that needs its own thread as the comparison and smearing conversations are hijacking threads.
Let's keep it clean and have a nice discussion regarding Advantages and Disadvantages of both products.... GO GO GO

Guys, if you like to talk about SP10 vs S2, please start a new thread... Heck I might do that for you guys now... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600373It is becoming very annoying to visit both threads for SP10 and S2, all I read is my dick is bigger than yours conversation.

I purchased a number of SP10 boxes and i will tell you there is no other box that can touch the quality, stability, and looks of the Spondoolies-Tech boxes.
I did purchase an S2 to evaluate and it is junk -- came in pieces and 4 damaged boards -- RMA is like pulling teeth.
I also have a couple other 1Th+ boxes, and they just don't compare at all.
Definitely worth the premium if you want a solid box that you know will work when you plug it in, and will outlive the competition.
You might outlive the competition, but you might not outlive the profitability. I rather have an ugly box that makes me money than good looking box that does not. Please explain how come the ugly box of S2 makes money and the good looking box of SP10 doesn't. No matter how ugly the miner is, if it hashes at the advertised rate and can mine 24x7x265 I am good with it looking fugly... SP10 is beautiful, but she is damn loud... However at the moment $3200 is a great price not to buy one... In terms of ROI both machines suck at it at $450 per BTC. My only negative comment to SP is, why don't you offer this price on your website obviously you still make a profit selling these miners at $3200? @RoadStress Thank you for organising this Group buy.

I will bite Ordered 4 Antminer S2 today, so why not spend more and share the love. Will purchase 1 and go for the hosted option.

Unless the coins increase in value and so does BTC. It's speculative to be sure but entirely possible. True... Look at this way, there is not a miner out there will return ROI quick enough without BTC price increasing...

8500 pounds is 14423 USD. Indeed prices are "slightly" higher.
Also what "additional security questions and verifications will be asked" since the payment is made before shipping?
You are forgetting that 3.5% goes to PayPal, £75 to eBay and plus Import Tax... let's not forget the exchange rate is higher when sending via wire transfer... I need to make something for my troubles too. Additional security verification to confirm your confirmed PayPal address and ID just displaying the full name (ID number and date of birth can be covered). This would cover me for possible charge back, and the user is covered by money back from eBay.

That is one fugly machine Are you using 28nm chips?

Price for the A2 g-box?
Please check our website MinerEU.com If you are a mining farm, we will be able to provide special discount for you. So instead of catering for the small guy, you guys are offering discount to the big guys... $12,000 for miner possibly could be worth less than half in a month or two... Just look at the Gridseed Blade price...
|
|
|
Just the ship date is so far away KnC Titan is so far away... 26 days wait is just 26 days "away" :-)
|
|
|
OK... I am really tempted now... $9,775.00 for 90MH+ miner with the 15% discount... All I have to do is find $10K :-(

I am hoping Hashra will reduce their prices as their miners soon...
I was told than an Announcement is forthcoming. Hashra will be shipping their miner earlier than the anticipated date (31st May) and they have just released their Firmware for their contralla... Let's hope the will release more good news soon

Really?
You would like to purchase these miners at $115 per MH???
That price would make it cheaper than any of the new miners coming out...
Good luck to you buddy...
not really - same price as the Gawminers 27 MH unit when it sells for $3,499 - which ca be ordered today. Errrm not really $129.59 per MH for Gawminer's miner... Also Gridseed Blade can run at 6MH at 850Mhz so it can lower the $/Mh down to $100 per MH.
