I have to say i'm rather selfishly pleased at the low price at the moment, just got a load of PND at 8 SATS, what a bargain. Ok now the to the moon!
Just a quick question though, the days till I earn interest on my stake went down to 4 and then went back up to 5, surely it should just be going down? The website said 3 days maybe a bit more and its been 9 days so far. Seems a bit unfair for the number of days to be going up?
You are eligible for stakes after 3 days. After that your amount of coins, coinage and PoS-difficulty have an influence on that. You are basically competing/fighting with all other people who are staking to get a stake. |

You won't be getting those interests as they were rejected. But don't worry, you haven't lost anything. As the stakes were rejected, the maturity of the coins isn't resetted so you'll get the interest eventually. This questions why my stakes were rejected? There is reason behind every act. PND developers needs to investigate and answer appropriately. Ever since the new version the difficulty has gone through the roof. There are a lot of factors that can have influence on this. Stability and speed of your internet for example. I personally had 1 rejected out of 30 since launch. It would help if you would copy your debuglug and upload on pastebin for example. We will investigate this but it would also help if you would tell me which OS you are using. And you didnt lose anything. You didnt lose any coinage or anything so you will still get the 2.5% per year. Rejected stakes happen all the time but yes you seem to get a lot now Starting around 11/19 all stakes are rejected. Is this from the high diff? I also upgraded to to PandaBank somewhere in there... Internet connection rock solid at 60 Mbs We're looking into it, currently it seems to be quite random as only a few people have reported this issue. For now you can go back to the old version if you feel more comfortable with that (although then you would have to download the blockchain again at old speed). Any extra information would be nice + debuglog when you get a rejected stake (debuglog you can find in same place as your wallet.dat) since it's a very rare problem it's quite difficult to reproduce for the developers. |

Oh, did I tell you how over the falls I am about that new hybrid wallet? If I'd a' waited just a little while, I wouldn't have had to gut it out for my original PandaBank Wallet to sync, BUT I feel I was just payin' the necessary dues. Then to have the new little hottie show up just sent me through the roof. An immense and brilliant accomplishment.

Speaking of staking... Two Q's: 1~ May I assume it is safe to keep my wallet running in the background most of the time? And 2~ I notice that often there are only 35 or so active connections to the PandaBank network when I scroll over the icon at the bottom of the Bank frame. Isn't that awfully low? Thank you.
1) Of course it's safe 2) That's not the amount of connections, that's the connections you're in direct contact with. Your connection goes to person B, person B might have 25 or 45 connections in his network and they can (in theory) all be different than yours it's how Peer to Peer works. |
