The private key is the bit of a code which is paired with a public key. Basically it is the key that is used for both encryption and decryption. The public key is held publicaly so there is no possibility of a loss of the keys but in private key, the key may be lost which is used by a particular individual.

Bitcoin is the most popular coin in the crypto industry. So it is important to keep your coins securely so that you don't lose it. Moreover, you have to be extra careful if you are keeping your wallet on your android device.

Still, you can refer to some wallets for your android device.

  • Ledger nano x- (It is not a mobile wallet but someone can access through mobile app and it is the most secure wallet but the only drawback is you have to carry the required device and it is a malware proof device so there is no risk that the private keys to get exposed to the internet)
  • Coinomi- (It is a popular wallet that supports multiple cryptocurrencies which allows simple backup and private keys the only drawback is it is not open source).
  • Mycelium:(It is the most popular wallet for android and it supports offline hardware wallet also)

So choose the BTC wallet which has an easy user interface and feasible for your device.

85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Malware education - How to find hidden viruses & How does malware work on: October 01, 2019, 07:55:57 PM
Nowadays hackers are very smart and they always find a way to steal from people.alaways double-check the address where you are supposed to send your coins.
If some malware program installed once without your knowldge your funds will send to the hacker's address instead of the particular exchange address.
If the coins are confirmed by the blockchain it can't be reversible.
So it is good to check what type of program is accessible on your device by your administrator.
Try to up to date one good virus scanner for your system.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to detect fake token and spot scammers. on: October 01, 2019, 11:40:17 AM
Be aware of the token price if the price is too low. Always check the platform if the price is too low on them. Then check the official page of the tokens. If you are doing small transaction then always try to see that you are getting the right tokens.
Be sure to use one reputed exchange for buying and selling your coins.
Don't participate in any giveaway where someone will ask to send some small amount then you will get your reward.

As there are somany resons involved in this but still you can follow some rules-Always keep in mind that the wallet you choose that should be supporting your device. You can store eth in ledger nano s (It supports other cryptocurrencies as well) or trezor wallet(Which is the most secure offline wallet).
Do double check while sending your funds.you can check the addresses here- etherscan, ethplorer, etherchain
Don't believe on who says you will get free eth maybe it is related to some hack.(Especially don't believe on social media messages)
90  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning to all newbies concerning wallets on: September 26, 2019, 11:10:13 AM
Frankly speaking always have the wallet which will work across window, android, chrome or ios may be it might be tricky for first time user. If you want you can use web wallets which is controlled by third party but you can get some good platforms in the market for this so choose according to your preference. You can keep the majority of your coins in hardware wallet and some smaller amounts you can keep it in web wallet.
91  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to check Bitcoin Transaction [guide][newbies only] on: September 21, 2019, 08:09:36 PM
You will check the btc transaction by using- https://www.blockchain.com/explorer.

Why do you think Blockchain.com is the best Blockexplorer? Blockchain.com has some disadvantages, the most obvious one that it doesn't even support native SegWit (bech32). If you read the OP and the comments it's explained why there are far better ones than Blockchain.com.
Personally I'm using Blockchair (https://blockchair.com/).

Thank you for your recommendation.Next time when I will check my transaction will definately use https://blockchair.com/ and see how it will work.

In trading always try to put the small amount of your portfolio.
Take your investment decisions very carefully means double check the exchange where you are going to invest your money.

It is good to own the right wallet which can keep your btc secure. To create a bitcoin wallet first you have to choose the wallets like hardware wallet, paper wallet, online wallet and desktop wallet. So it is always good to store your coin in hardware wallets like ledger nano which is secure and through this you can run multiple apps. Also there is no risk of private keys exposed.

100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of mobile wallets that holds private keys on: September 17, 2019, 11:26:07 AM
It is always adviceable that don't store your coins on the exchange but there are some mobile wallets are there who controls your private keys just like free wallet. If you keep your funds with them they can do what ever they want to do with your funds. So it is better to use that you can control your private keys. Also it is better to use one trustable wallet.
