1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Guns - Why do we need them? on: July 31, 2020, 03:12:56 AM

[...] Right now, the majority of the people who have guns are meant to kill each other. The world is changing but the humans doesn't, the history will repeat itself and for sure there will be another war that will happen because of the guns and ammos.

Yes, I agree with you! from what I see, The guns can change the person who holds it, most of the holders become pretentious and as if he can threaten and make others afraid of him.

It might sound naive, but, I think civilians should not need and are not allowed to have guns.

3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Social distancing and self isolation on: March 26, 2020, 03:30:07 PM
Social distance and self isolation created in Africa also where there no food and one lack access to water, how did their federal Government want them to survive indoor without help.

Well... that looks like a problem without a solution. That is not only happening in Africa, but almost all countries also do the same thing.

The government must think and provide the right solution before asking its citizens to isolate themselves. because, for those who do not have a steady income / or survive on daily income, self-isolation is a difficult thing.

you have no choice but to use them when you convert your crypto to your local fiat. Unless, you will use some P2P transactions to exchange your crypto, and this option is sometimes too risky.
I have been using peer-to-peer exchanges for years and have never had any issues. BISQ in particular has has (as far as I am aware) a grand total of two transactions which ran in to issues with scammers performing chargebacks, and they responded by removing the implicated payment methods so this is no longer possible. Compare this to centralized exchanges which have literally thousands of reports of accounts being locked, accounts being hacked, coins being frozen, coins disappearing, coins not being credited properly, unannounced KYC requirements, KYC documents being hacked, KYC documents being sold, exit scamming, shutting down, servers being hacked, etc., etc. I would argue that centralized exchanges are far more risky than peer-to-peer ones.

Maybe just submit your docs to legit merchants if you can't avoid the KYC thing.
What would you classify as a "legit" merchant? Coinbase are probably the biggest bitcoin related company in the world. They were actively selling their customers' private information to third parties without their knowledge or consent. Binance have been hacked multiple times, both for coins and for KYC documents. Being "legit" means nothing.

That's the problem that I am thinking about. What if in my country there is no p2p exchange!?, what if I can only convert my crypto to local fiat on a centralized exchange that requires KYC!? what the solution!? explanation please! anyone!
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: January 31, 2020, 11:56:15 AM
I think this must be the biggest lead ever at this stage of the season. It’s only January & 19 points, wow.
I think Liverpool will go far in the CL also.

Yes, Liverpool does the whole game perfectly. They are the only team that is unbeaten among the teams in the top five leagues in Europe.

However, the Champions League has a different atmosphere. I'm a bit pessimistic that they will win the CL in a row like what Real Madrid did a few years ago.

@3 angle the red card was a horrible decision, and I don’t know what was the referee thinking when he gave it to Matic and even Ole wasn’t happy about it.

Yes, I agree with you, that is indeed a violation, but the referee should not have to give a second yellow card which then becomes a red card to Matic.

LOL, that's a term that I (my group) use for reserve players. I forgot this is a public conversation. I will change it.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup and EFL Cup Prediction Thread on: January 30, 2020, 04:58:59 AM
I think united played well tonight and kept city men at bay for while

What do you u think about city??
Is it a confidence crisis or loss of form; they lost so many easy chances

Man.United clearly played ambitiously, in contrast to Man.City, I think Man.City was a bit off guard in the match, even though they were dominant throughout the match but they failed to convert their chances into goals. Luckily Man.united lost the scorer in the match (Matic) due to a red card, if not I think Man.United can score 1 more goal.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: January 30, 2020, 04:41:42 AM
RESULT EPL Cup: Manchester City 0-1 Manchester United

Manchester United win the match but lost on aggregate over two legs (3-2) so Manchester City are going to play Aston Villa in the EPL Cup final. Congratulations to both of them.

Evidently, my prediction missed, I thought Man.City would win the match because they appeared in front of their own supporters.

RESULT Premier League:West Ham United 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool are now a massive 19 points clear at the top of the Premier League
Well ... Liverpool is increasingly comfortable at the top of the table, Liverpool is getting closer to being the winner of the EPL this season, 19 points is almost impossible to pursue.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: January 29, 2020, 06:56:33 PM
EPL Cup Games UPDATE: 29th January 2020

Manchester City are already winning 3-1 from the first leg. Whichever team wins will face Aston Villa in the EPL Cup final.

And I predict Manchester City will be champions EPL Cup because they surely qualify for the Final.

With a 1-3 aggregate lead in the first leg, Then, Man.City act as the host versus Man.United in the second leg, Man.City should win again at the later match.

Then facing Aston Villa in the final will be relatively easy.

Alessando Florenzo from As Roma To Valencia on loan for 6 months

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1222471771229761536

More and more deal are ongoin in these last 48 hours.

Well, Florenzi is deemed incompatible with the As Roma scheme under the current As Roma coach. Even though this season Florenzi is the captain of the As Roma team who is also the original player from As Roma academy (where As Roma always maintains that tradition). Florenzi is willing to be loaned out to other teams to be able to play regularly to maintain his place in the Italian national team for the European Cup.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup and EFL Cup Prediction Thread on: January 29, 2020, 04:43:14 PM
[...]  It's only a single match and if Liverpool will win then they will face Chelsea at the next stage, I hope Chelsea will show a different level football and the blues will be the winner against Liverpool? if Chelsea will beat Liverpool then it will not be a surprising issue because, in this FA Cup, Chelsea's record is nearly better than Liverpool so I want to see Chelsea in the Final.

Forget that record, let's look at the performance of both teams this season, so far Liverpool is very superior. At the last meeting of the two teams, Liverpool was able to conquer Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. But in football everything can happen, Chelsea could have beaten Liverpool because Liverpool also often play their reserve players in the FA Cup.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who Would You Prefer In Your Team: Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi on: January 29, 2020, 03:54:09 PM
I prefer to see Messi when dribbling, Messi is smoother than Ronaldo in dribbling the ball. I think that Messi is the best soccer player in the world right now.

But if I were a coach/manager, I would prefer Ronaldo to be on my team! Because:

"You can take Cristiano Ronaldo to war and he'll win it for you all alone. For Lionel Messi, you need to bring all of his Barcelona teammates so he could actually do something.
*Someone said it was a statement from Diego Simeone, but some people said that it was not a Diego Simeone statement. But I don't care who has said, I just agree with the statement.

It's really a concern if he uses and takes advantage of someone's death. There is no justification for such actions.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How find links in bitcointalk in an easiest way on: January 28, 2020, 06:09:26 PM
I think downloading additional applications only makes it rather complicated.

I'd rather do this.

An easy way to find links in Bitcoins is to bookmark your work and put detailed job information and links on a notepad. It will provide a lot of benefits to the workplace and helps Google better I often watch these videos as well It is very useful and useful for me to search for.

also this.

It's nice of you creating this thread but you don't need to install that app and it contains some ads it will cause your phone to lag, on every phone brand they have built-in notes with no ads at all just explore your phone features. On PC you can easily save on notepads and you can actually search anything on google with this format ( topic that you want to find + bitcointalk) list of topics will appear automatically.

Hi guys.
I just join this platform not quiet long. Just like to know how btt rate/rank it users. Recently I come across account that's newbie and the same Jr Member, how's that?
My thought was that ranking is directly proportional to the time and Number of quality posts.

Hi dude, I think this is more than enough to answer your question!

In addition to activity, everyone now has a merit score, and you need both a certain activity level and a certain merit score in order to reach higher member ranks. The required scores are:

With all due respect, isn't "posting twice in a row" is against the rules of the forum, I've been told about it:

(..snip..) and please refrain from posting twice in a row, you should edit your first post, ask your question there and then delete the second post, in fact if I am not mistaken , what you just did is against the forum rules.

What do think best stable, and non risk investment is?if you have million dollars and you don't want to lose your principal and always want to have some return where would you like to invest and why ?

Risks and returns/profit are always side by side, there are no non-risk investments, you will only find low-risk investments. I would not suggest an investment, try investing only in assets that you understand about the returns and risks of these investments, so you will be better able to minimize the risk of your investment.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Skyrocket to $100,000 in 24 Months on: January 25, 2020, 02:51:10 PM
Based on some analyst made by popular bitcoin traders, the price of bitcoin will go upto $100,000 on upcoming 24months as of today and we has nothing to do with it but to wait that thing will happen. Herw are some reasons with regards to that:
1.A position trader is making noise on social media after tweeting an ultra bullish prediction on bitcoin.
2.The cryptocurrency’s performance in the last two halvings may have prompted the analyst to make a bold call.
3.Other big names in the industry share a more conservative price target.

This is the direct link for that news: https://www.ccn.com/analyst-adamantly-believes-bitcoin-will-skyrocket-100000-24-months/.

What can you say about it? Is this will happen or just falsehope for us?

It's nice to read the three factors you mentioned, but I'm pessimistic that the price of Bitcoin will skyrocket in such a short period, Not that I'm not happy if the price of Bitcoin skyrocketed, but, in fact, even though there many factors that support to make the price of bitcoin skyrocket, but negative issue always following that and makes bitcoin prices fall.
20  Other / Meta / Re: How to increase level in Bitcointalk? on: January 25, 2020, 02:24:07 PM
Any one please help me to know how to increase the level in Bitcointalk . I read an article that if you have 30 Activity you will get upgrade but that not happen at all. I have joined this about a year but still i am a newbie if any one knows please help me so that i can work hard and increase my level its so annoying not to get any guidance how to increase rank. I watched many videos but they are really old and same approach that if you have 30 activities you will be level up but this is not happening. Please give me better Guidance in Reply. Thank You.

I am really surprised you did not know about merit. Merit has been a topic that has been very much discussed by users until now, especially when it was first applied.
