The current difficulty increase of 20% had to hurt your miners yield.  Cry

Thanks. Whats a test contract btw?
Good Question.

We schedule a one hour contract for your miner to ensure that everything works properly. Occasionally, the installation of the Plugin does not work properly and we don't want to wait for the first assignment of your miner to fail on an active customer contract.

You will receive an email message with information on how your can monitor contract assignments.

Unfortunately that's the trouble that comes with name recognition.  I would jump straight to PHashForCash since GH is so 2013, TH is Feb, PH should be good for the rest of this year hopefully.

What comes after Petahash…my brain cell does not compute that high.

I am going to have to get 17561 truck loads of GPU's for my attempt at 51% Any one know where I can rent a nuclear power plant? I was thinking that one down there in Socal. San Onofre, the one that looks like big boobs. (o)(o) (I am only a man…don't judge me)

Holy crap did I get off track……Somethinghash.com for sure

8  Bitcoin / Mining / We're getting flack? GhashForCash is not associated with GHash.io on: June 21, 2014, 04:48:29 AM
Recently we have been receiving backlash because of our name?

Our posts to the Google Plus Bitcoin Community are being deleted
While trying to buy advertising we were told that they would charge us more because of their stance against GhashIO/CEX

You would think that people would do a little research.

GhashForCash is NOT affiliated with GhashIO.
What a mess
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Minings pool selection of GHash IO 90% of our customers on: June 16, 2014, 01:00:59 PM
Have you considered starting your own pool to point client rentals at?

Anyway, for users that wish to use anything at ghash.io, it's really your judgment call as to whether they are a risk. If they are, don't allow them. Otherwise, when people select them as the pool, you could have them check a checkbox that they understand that directing power there is increasing their mining power share, yada yada.
Starting our own pool is something we did not consider. From what I understand CEX.io require their users to use GHash.io.

I do like the point your made about informing the customer and a checkbox. Thanks for the suggestion.

As you point out the customer purchased the contract with intentions of mining to "Their" pool.
Thank you for the feedback and suggestion.
We appreciate your input.

10  Bitcoin / Mining / Minings pool selection of GHash IO 90% of our customers on: June 15, 2014, 05:54:06 PM
We are a new mining contract provider.
With the recent 51% issue we are wondering how we can respond to customers selection of GHash IO as their pool

As many of our clients are new to bitcoin and bitcoin mining we are notifying our current and past customers of the threat to the community.

Event though our efforts will have minimal effect on the total hash rate, we feel by informing new miners of the issue they are much more aware and educated about the mining industry.

We can now handle your renting the hash rate from your miners in a data center.

For the enterprise miner, those with more than 20 miners online and looking for higher yields on for there hashing power.

Say you have 100 Miners in your building and you want to sell mining contract, we can handle everything from sales to paying you via PayPal.

All you have to do is keep the miners running.

12  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [Release] Minepeon ported to VirtualBox for bfgminer stratum proxy server on: June 02, 2014, 07:56:03 AM
so by paying say if i need grid seed support that is provided ? I am willing to pay for your support via credit card.

We provide support for the VM configuration and setup.
I would need to look into what is necessary for gridseed. I don't think it would be too much of an issue.

I also have to take a look at the newest version of bfgminer v4.0 which has built in support for gridseed.

PM me for more information or support@ghashforcash.com

You are not paying for the software.
If you would like it for FREE I will supply the VM to you.

You are paying for the support call to help set it up.

Roflmao.

Sorry. I was interested, but then had a look at your sites and I cannot promote this as it actively drives people to make VERY stupid decisions.

It's not about GHashForCash itself, that's actually a nice idea and leasing out hashing power totally makes sense if the leasing rates are higher than the mining result. But 808mining.com? I mean seriously? If people take those deals despite all the info you openly provide them I have just lost all faith in humanity.

But, people buy bottled water. You can always sterlize your own water in a pot. It's gotta be cheaper than buying it, yet, we buy bottled water.
Starbucks coffee, $6 dollars a cup, really?

We are still working out the pricing. How would you suggest that you pay miners, pay customer support, pay PayPal fees, pay server hosting. Its a service those that choose to use the service do so.

up to 15%  goes to miners
2.9%+ goes to PayPal
10% goes to customer support
5% goes to marketing

So, how would you structure it so you have a functioning profitable business?

17  Economy / Services / Re: 808 Mining - Mining Contracts PayPal Accepted - 24 TerraHash 140 Miners on: May 21, 2014, 06:09:43 AM
Added another 40 Miners @ 4 TerraHash
Now with 140 Miners totaling 24Terrahash.

Now would you like to make a deal on a mining contract?

Say 10TerraHash pointed at your pool for 24Hours?

808 = double 404 (error)
Roll Eyes Funny

808 Is the area code for Hawaii. My favorite place in the world.

Kinda funny, a mining company with a Hawaii reference.

I didn't give any feedback, because I don't know if what you are doing is real.

I meant a free copy to somebody(it doesn't have to be me) who is trusted on this forum so that he/she can verify your business.

For example, give somebody 220 GH/Z for 1 day for free.

That is a great idea. We would be looking for a Sr. Member interested in verifying our services.

And for you, we will setup a small contract so you yourself can experience our services.
I will PM you.

Can you give out some kind of vouch? That way people know you are legit and probably more people will buy from you.
Thank for the feedback.
What type of vouch, are your referring too.
