The deal so far has been very very good for a regular stakeholder. Each core developer will get about 60-80 times a regular stake but let me be frank if you are a helpful stakeholder who run a node and contribute to NEM marketing from times to times, a core developer contributes about 1000 times more than you do. And I only estimate that until V1 blockchain completed because if all core developers stay with NEM until NEM technological road-map being completed, they will contribute way way more than that.
I do my best to keep key developers staying with us for a long term and make NEM (and its ecosystem) the most advanced technological system possible and that would be the way to treat our developers. I hope this would be the message to all other developers out there as well. But not only NEM key developers would be rewarded monetarily, I believe we have a coherent vision and a technological road-map that would make NEM one of the most successful decentralized system in one year.
You should believe me otherwise you can leave and go after other blockchain such as Nxt, Nas, Blackcoin or whatever coin out there. Talented people drive technological progress and NEM concept of fairness is to set the incentive system in the right place. NEM system rewards people who contribute the most not to reward some rich investors or some lucky random people. If anyone fails to understand this point, he should consider leaving for the next fairest and free coin out there.

how is this different from NXT if each developer is going to get 60-80 stakes?
they wont... its more like 11 stakes lol which is ok... the distribution of nem is light years better then nxt! what about the 10 % premine... dark years worse? |

the only one paid Nxt developer - Come-from-Beyond - got 0.5 percent of Nxt after IPO (from his investment) how do you know? |

It's not like the 10% will go to 5 or 10 people. We have 35 people on NEM ecosystem board alone and still every talented developer is welcome to join. I don't really count on getting extra shares but I will buy them off non-believers for sure. So go ahead and dump it into my pocket.
35 devs? wow.. i didnt realise its that many! is there a break down of who and what they are working on..? or can we get one? 35 developers? where did you get the info? best coins are born out of controversy  I'm not gonna say anything more beside that you should wait for an official announcement from utopianfuture. I believe in NEM. Do you? the only commitment we need from this they don't dump it on launch
I can't say it for other devs (but after two months I think we share quite similar ideals), but why do you think we would? Also as utopianfuture stated many times, NEM is not an IPO, it's a call for participation, if you won't like Developer Contract, you will have a chance to withdraw. (Which probably will be good for everyone, as we want people who believe in NEM as a currency and NEM as a community)400 shake for your 8 person? That's a very, very bad move. This decision cannot be taken lightly as must be well thought out. This can make the NEM not to be worth a hair,you guys must know that you are human like everyone else. and they call this NO ENVY MOVEMENT |

this crap is hurting them all so in a way everyone is losing money because of these scams.
All the greedy band wagon jumper ons deserve this. Crypto is full of fibbers, opportunists and the dregs who know nothing about the scene or ideals and care about nothing beside turning a fast buck. There'll be another 4 or 5 "BTC giveaways" like this before the year is out. It's good for all real crypto lovers. To all the dregs, whine more, loudly, BCT may consider removing ALTs again, lol  Congratulations to this dastardly duo. Long live BHW. BCT shouldn't* remove ALTs. There are many successful coins lik NXT, MSC, XCP and ofcourse XCPs. Just some crooks cheating the community, doesn't mean they should remove ALT section. There is a link in the ALT section on how to invest safely. If people don't follow those guidelines like using escrow, seeking more info, whitepaper, then they are too greedy to lose their BTCs I wasn't suggesting for a minute that they should  With you 100% Maybe they can make trusted escrows compulsory for IPOs like how companies issue shares. Rate the escrows. |

Trying to trace him is a futile exercise.
Lesson learnt is always use escrow if its available.

I would be sending you a BTC payment an a LTC payment....
but - I need the EDG from the IPO sent back to me in (2) separate payments - can you do this for me?
It'll just be a lot easier to keep the books straight then having to "show my math" etc etc and figure out what is my Father's EDG and what is mine...
No problem. I'll list your investment(s) as being owned by two entities under one email. On launch I will request two addresses from you. One for the BTC (0.1) and one for the LTC(~4.4) Sound good? Because they are very small and mostly known by folks that know NXT. If we want the mainstream people to join, than either bter or cryptsy is a must. Yes, bter is a must to attract Chinese investors. All the coins have gained a lot in number of investors and in price after listing on bter. I just bought 1 million NAS @ 17 satoshis. Welcome me. Exactely this is the reasoning behind this. Most initial stakeholders seem to be chinese, I doubt they want to use an american exchange to trade. Bter is very nice because they will likely add a NAS/CNY market also. Also welcome on board!!! Also the trading and withdrawal feel are too high in dgex. Have you contacted bter and cryptsy yet? |
